Hotel Hanshin Annex in Osaka

The hotel service was good, and the location was convenient and quiet. The only thing that needs improvement is the smell. Overall, I highly recommend it. It's very close to popular areas, making it a place I'd consider staying at again if I visit USJ.

Hanshin Annex Osaka:
Out of the three hotels I booked during my 8-day stay in Japan, this was the best one.
The service was excellent, with staff who were very polite and genuinely helpful.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I especially appreciated the soft white lighting (not yellow), which was easy on the eyes and much more comfortable than in many other hotels.
Breakfast was good and satisfying.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Fukushima Station, making it very easy to get around Osaka.

Very close to the subway station, which made getting around super convenient. The staff were all very patient, and there was no strange smell in the room. There's a snack street right downstairs and a supermarket nearby, so it was really convenient and I'm very satisfied.

Location is convenient especially to USJ and the airport. Nice walk underground to Osaka and Umeda stations. Lots of food options nearby (unagi and ramen along 5 Chome-12) and a supermarket just a minute away. Room is a little small but very affordable. It would be good to have the option of trash disposal without room cleaning.

The room was very clean. Although it wasn't huge, I could still lay my 24-inch suitcase flat on the floor. The bathroom was also quite clean with no strange odors. Being on the ninth floor, the soundproofing was decent. There's a mini-fridge, perfect for storing puddings.

This hotel is right next to the JR station. With double-paned windows, the soundproofing is pretty good. It's super convenient for dining and shopping; there are tons of restaurants right outside, giving it a late-night diner vibe, and a large supermarket is just a short walk away. So convenient!

The location is fantastic; you can see the hotel right from Fukushima Station. There's a food street downstairs and a Hankyu supermarket (definitely worth a visit if you have time! Lots of great, affordable stuff).

When we checked in, staff helped us use the self-service machine, and our luggage, which we'd sent ahead via Yamato Transport, was brought out to us at the same time.

The front desk area also provides complimentary toiletries like toothbrushes and combs, as well as tea bags, for guests to pick up themselves.

The room is small but has everything you need, though you can really only open one suitcase. 😂

Later, we needed to send our luggage to the airport. Luckily, we found a Chinese-speaking staff member, but we still had to fill out all the forms ourselves. I'm not sure why all the guides I read said the front desk would help with this. Since we can't write Japanese, it took us almost half an hour to fill out the three forms.

There's also a really delicious yakitori place near the hotel! I highly recommend checking it out.

Great location, only 200 meters from Fukushima subway station. It's just one stop to Umeda and three stops to Shinsaibashi. The hotel is very clean, the service is good, and the room is quite spacious.
