MIMARU Osaka Namba North in Osaka

I was drawn in by the afternoon tea-included plan at the entrance and, by chance, was given a tour of the hotel. I thought it was a wonderful hotel, so I wanted to leave a comment. It opened in January 2021. It's located across from the entrance on the east side of Orange Street, next to Yamaha on Yotsubashi-suji. It's about a 12-13 minute walk from Namba Station on the Midosuji Line, and about an 8 minute walk from Yotsubashi Line, Kintetsu Hanshin, and JR Namba Station. As the name "apartment hotel" suggests, it's designed for long-term stays, but short-term stays are also possible. Located near Minami-Horie Park, the birthplace of Osaka sumo, the entrance is decorated with sumo-themed displays, including a sumo ring. There's also a nostalgic smartball game that you can actually play, creating an atmosphere that allows you to experience the good old days and the playful spirit of Japan. In stark contrast to the lively entrance, the rooms are simple and comfortable, with a focus on interior design using light wood. There are also rooms with kitchens, so you can have a hot pot party in your room. Indeed, with a kitchen this spacious, it would be fun to cook together with friends and family. The table is also large, and they even lend out a stovetop. There's also a microwave. In addition, there are rooms with walls that act as projectors, and they even rent out planetariums, so there are plenty of unique hospitality features at this hotel. I felt that they are not only committed to making guests comfortable, but also to entertaining them. The rooms are spacious, so it's especially recommended for families and group trips! By the way, it's about a 4-minute walk to Amerikamura Big Step, 7 minutes to Shinsaibashi Daimaru, 10 minutes to Dotonbori Ebisubashi, and 15 minutes to Namba Takashimaya. If any of my friends or relatives are looking for a place to stay, I will definitely recommend this hotel!

I always choose to stay at Mimaru hotels when I visit Japan. This time, I encountered some issues when booking my room, and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful and proactive in resolving them. I'm very grateful for their assistance. All the staff I met during my stay were also very friendly and accommodating!

Challenge was to locate the correct Miramu hotel and there are so many of them, all close enough to be mistaken for each other when searching on Maps. We followed our maps back to the wrong Miramu hotel, more than once!

Big plus is that they have laundry (washing machine/dryer) facilities on site which is a godsend when travelling as a family.

Service is limited after 10 PM (unless for emergencies). The location is incredibly convenient, very close to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. Cleanliness was excellent.

The staff are so friendly and observant. The place is conveniently located near don ton bori and many good eateries. The bunk bed ladder however is a little sharp and may cause abrasion to the foot with each step. Rooms are big and spacious. Great stay!

Fantastic apartment hotel in Osaka, especially for families

Absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, and the facilities were superb and felt brand new.

The place and rooms are clean and neat. The staff are so helpful and can speak English fluently. The location is near most of the shopping places and close to the metro station. I enjoyed my stay so much.
