Hotel 88 Shinsaibashi in Osaka

Excellent services.  I appreciate the manager greatly for helping us transport our luggage when he saw that we had a lot to carry.

Very good experience with this hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. There’re massage chairs at the lobby that we enjoyed a lot. Hotel are very closed to the train station and eateries. Clean room. Will definitely go back!

88 Hotel is excellent, with an unbeatable location in Osaka, situated right by the Namba transportation hub. It's just a 5-minute walk to Namba Subway Station, making it incredibly efficient and convenient for trips north to Kyoto, east to Nara, or south to Kansai Airport. The service is also great, and the guest rooms are fully equipped, providing a very cozy stay. On the first floor, there's a complimentary selection of hot and cold beverages, as well as a pool table and many massage chairs available for free use. A key highlight is that everyone here speaks Mandarin, making communication very smooth. The service is fantastic! Plus, it's very close to various restaurants and eateries in the nearby Shinsaibashi area. The price is also very reasonable. A truly excellent hotel!

Excellent stay!
Room : We stayed in a 3-bed room with a big & comfortable couch, very spacious;  lots of power sockets and many thoughtful settings.
Facilities : The hotel does not provide breakfast but got a 24-hour opened, large self-service canteen with free coffee/tea/chocolate and corn soup.    7 massage chairs free to use; a treat after the tired shopping day.   Every drum of  laundry only takes one hour, very reasonable time, don't need to wait for washing machine.  
Hospitality : Extremely touching service.   Staff came out to take our luggages right on arrival and moved them to the room before we have finished the checkin.   When checkout , the owner drove us to the Airport bus station and lead us the way to the ticket office, made sure we were all set before leaving 🥹.
Communication : most staffs speak reasonably good English.   
Location : needless to mention, 2 min walk to the Shinsaibash station 心齋橋 or Yotsubashi station四橋; 5 min walk to the Namba train station 難波. 7/11 and Lawson just around the corner.

We had a wonderful & comfortable stay in hotel88. The staffs are all accommodating esp Travis who made an extra effort to bring us to stn & ensure we made it on time for our trip to Kyoto. The hotel has massage chairs after to relax after a long tiring day; the dyson hairdryer is awesome! Our room is spacious w 2 queen beds for us 4. They also offered to bring us to OCAT on our way back to airport. We’ll definitely stay here again when we visit Osaka in the future. 👌

Our stay was great; we had a 4-year-old and two elders with us, but the whole experience was awesome. Staff were attentive, warm, welcoming, and very helpful. Love the massage chair and the separate room within the room, which gives us some privacy. The separate washroom design was also very thoughtful. The bar by the lobby is also a great add-on for a hot drink after a long day walk in the cold. I would definitely book again when i visit Osaka next time.

Second time staying in 88hotel. My kids specifically request to stay in 88 hotel again after last year visit.

It’s a hotel that gives cosy feel.
Near to metro exit, with namba walk, we can get to Round1 without going through the Shinsaibashi and dontonburi crowd. And shelter walk way that made the walking experience less cold :)

I was very impressed with this hotel this time. Its location is convenient, just a few hundred meters walk opposite Shinsaibashi. The hotel staff were very enthusiastic and actively helped me look up directions to Kyoto. The room wasn't small, and the toilet, sink, and shower were all separate. Although the window couldn't open, making it fully enclosed, every part of the room was very clean, with no mold or strange smells. Among all the hotels I've stayed at in different parts of Japan, I really appreciate how clean and odor-free the bathrooms were here. I only took pictures of the room, not the bathroom area.

Great location, close to Dotonbori and a 2-minute walk from subway exit B4. The room was clean and tidy, and the service was warm and welcoming. They kindly lent us an umbrella on a rainy day and proactively informed us about the express train times to the airport when we checked out.

88 Hotel in Osaka was like being at home. From the minute we stepped through the door, the entire staff welcomed us with Japanese hospitality. Check in was a breeze. The staff brought our luggage to our room while we were finishing check in. We were offered complementary drinks to take up to the room. Also we were given a toothbrush set with a big tube of toothpaste. The rooms were spacious and each had a huge television plus a massage chair. The husband sat in it immediately. There was also a larger than normal refrigerator/freezer. Perfect for drinks and snacks. The beds were comfortable as well as the pillows. The bathroom was complete with all your needs. My favorite part was the toilet. It was fancy! The seat was heated. There was a soaking tub and a sit or stand shower area. I didn’t use housekeeping everyday but they always left a bag with fresh towels and bottled water on my door daily. For laundry, there are four coin operated washers and dryers for your use. You can sit in the massage chairs in the next room while you wait for your laundry or you can sit in the community area and help yourself to coffee, tea or soda. There is also a pool table to challenge other guests. There are chairs and tables to eat your snacks that you purchased at the local konbini which close by. The location is close to everything but far enough from the noise and crowds. Special thanks to Travis from Kansas for his guidance and recommendations during our stay.
