Hotel Cargo Shinsaibashi in Osaka

The location is excellent, just a short distance from Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori for shopping and dining. The hotel's large bathroom is fantastic, and they provide POLA toiletries. There's also a guest lounge by the entrance with complimentary coffee and tea, where you can dine.

Absolutely fantastic! Great atmosphere, excellent service, and the large public bath was incredibly relaxing.

Absolutely incredible experience. The public bath and amenities was a wonder after a long day of sightseeing. The bed was comfortable and spacious, all areas were clean. The staff were impossible to fault as they were polite and thoughtful on every opportunity. For the price of a hostel room this is service for a higher end hotel.

Best hostel service in my life. It's amazing that in the bathroom the hostel had everything including hair conditioner and face wash. It's also very pleasant that there was a smart toilet

The location is quite close to train station and there is convenient store nearby.

Nice clean, modern hotel. Good amenities and location. Only problem was that it’s a curtain between you at the outside so less privacy and can get stuff as no ac in the capsule.
The card machine also did not work when I went, even tried 2 different card types so I had to leave and get cash and come back.

I recently stayed at Hotel Cargo Shinsaibashi during my trip to Osaka, and I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and quality packed into this compact, capsule-style accommodation.

Despite being a shared facility, everything was spotless and well-maintained at all times. The design was sleek, and the space felt more like a boutique hotel than a budget capsule. The toilets are equipped with Japan’s signature high-tech bidet functions, and the overall cleanliness really exceeded my expectations. Even the subtle lighting and warm wood tones added to the relaxing feel every time I used the bathroom.

The rest of the hotel was equally impressive. The capsules were comfortable, quiet, and felt more private than I expected. The lounge area was a nice place to relax or do a bit of planning for the day. Plus, the location is perfect — just a short walk from Shinsaibashi shopping street and a quick train ride to most Osaka hotspots.

If you’re looking for a well-designed, clean, and cozy place to stay in Osaka, I highly recommend Hotel Cargo Shinsaibashi. Especially if you value hygiene and comfort in shared facilities, this hotel delivers above and beyond.

Service was good, room is amazing. Only downside is the reception is on 1st floor which couldn't be reach by elevator (fortunately female can use their). second point is the ventilation of the room could be a bit better as it felt a bit hot inside
