The hotel's facilities are relatively simple and outdated. The room does not have a bathroom, only a washbasin, but no hot water. The temperature in March was so cold that the tap water was too cold to brush teeth or wash face. The lighting in the room was also very uncomfortable.

The hotel is located in a very remote area and there are no restaurants nearby (15 minutes drive). If you are not traveling by car, it is recommended not to choose this hotel.

The hot spring is good, the hotel is basically fully self-service, suitable for people

Japanese family hotel. Sleep on tatami. The problem is that the toilet is inconvenient downstairs. Sound insulation is too poor. I was disturbed by a group of Japanese people next door and couldn't sleep well. I won’t stay again without contacting you.

Very satisfied, good service, recommended

This is definitely not a ryokan. We paid £105 for a basic youth hostel, with a very old, shabby room. Pics attached. Btw you also have to lay out your own futon and duvet, and tuck in all the sheets etc. Zero service, and zero staff after 7pm. Only two outdoor baths, which were very small, but only one party could use it per time so there was a queue for the keys! Lastly, I didn't think I'd ever say this about Japan but the male toilets were dirty, smelly, and damp, with wet floors. The stairs and reception were carpeted but mouldy and dirty. This place was an absolute disgrace and not a ryokan. The youth hostel we stayed in the night before (Deer Park Inn, Nara) was way cleaner!

If you want to feel Japanese, you should visit
Okay, the price is cheap, so the facilities are old, next time
I don't want to go to the bathroom. If someone else uses it, the water will be
It doesn't come out well. I have to go to the open-air bath for about 10 minutes.

For the area the price is reasonable but this comes with some things to be aware of. The place itself is a little run down and parts look quite worn and dirty. For most people, it's passable but if you need to make sure the place is clean I wouldn't recommend it. There are two onsen in the building which can be used as private ones as they have a lock on the door. They are nice but again, show signs of age. Due to having traditional rooms, the walls are also very thin which isn't ideal when you have particularly noisy neighbours as we did. It is convenient to the station however and easy to get around the surrounding areas.

Nice ryokan, but definitely needs a full renovation of the onsen and rooms. Kaiseki dinner was pretty awesome, service was punctual and very friendly

Ok room... but lost our appetite as we found a huge living cockroach in the room just before dinner was served. Difficult to find other eateries close by and difficult to walk long distances as there is no pavement and people drive like crazy. Found an ok sushi place 5min from there but would prefer food from a 7/11 shop

Small Japanese style hotel (Ryokan). Front desk speaks a little English. Meals included, and lovely. Part of a set of three hotels, that all share Hot Springs, so you can go to the baths in any of them. Nice location and easy to access by Bus and Train.
