The hotel's shuttle service made getting around incredibly easy. We pre-booked it on Ctrip, and the shuttle to/from Odawara was right on schedule. The service here is incredibly thoughtful. You can communicate directly if you have any needs, and Mr. Zhang at the reception was meticulously attentive to all our requirements. There's also a laundry service. Most importantly, if you're driving, Hakone can be quite challenging with its narrow roads, so be careful!

The location is a bit secluded.  The staff keep a clean environment.  The service here is excellent.  The facilities are good, however besides onsen and food, there isn't much else to do.  The uncharges are a bit steep

They gave a quick tour of facilities upon check-in, even an escort to the room. Carried baggage from driveway and deposited to our room. I was the only one in the public bath at 5pm. We loved having our own onsen to enjoy and it was wonderful to enjoy traditional meals. There is a free shuttle bus from Hakone Yumoto station to Hakone Yuyo hot spring resort which is right across the street from the hotel that we were able to use.
