Koko Hotel Premier Nihonbashi Hamacho in Tokyo

Lovely little hotel in a very peaceful neighborhood and conveniently near the Hamacho Station.

While sauntering around the neighborhood, my girlfriend and I stumbled across the nicest little piano bar just kitty corner to Ningyocho Station - nearby the McDonald’s but just around the corner. 6th floor. Very elegant older gentleman acting as bartender and a woman playing live piano with a bar built around the baby grand piano.

Such a nice hidden gem just a junction over from this hotel - they’re not even on maps as a business but here’s the coordinates (35.6851878, 139.7835706)

Overall, was a great stay and a quaint area to be in!

Very good hotel with all conveniences. There is almost nothing to complain about. Just one thing, the registration process through Internet is complicated. The woman at the reception had to help us and another client at the same time. We had a room on the 12. floor with a nice view on the city.

This hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood but it is very close to Hamacho station (about 1 min). There are many restaurants nearby. There is a Lawson across the street and many vending machines for water, tea, coffee and soft ice cream. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. There is breakfast but we didn’t pay for it so I can’t comment on it. The reception area is always full of luggages that people leave behind or leave for transport. They clean the room every 3 days unless you ask them to clean on a specific day. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Our room is big enough for us to open our luggage. The bathroom is huge compared to other places that we have stayed. It is quite hot in the room eventhough we turned on the air con. They give each room 2 water bottles on the clean up day. I think water bottles should be given every day since it is very dry. There is laundry but we didnt use it since we didnt want to go through the experience that our clothes are still damp after 1 hour of drying. There is a laundromat nearby about 5 mins walk. A bit more expensive than coin laundry in the hotel but it is guaranteed that your clothes will be clean and dry, just dont use laundry bag. Overall, our experience of 6 nights stay was good and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place.

The hotel's location is very close to the subway station, and there's a convenience store just diagonally across the street. The ginkgo trees in the nearby park offer a beautiful view, and if your room is on a higher floor, you can even catch a glimpse of the night skyline. They provide two complimentary bottles of mineral water daily. On the downside, the room is quite small, and it can get stuffy if the air conditioning isn't on because there are no windows that open. Also, the cleanliness was just okay; I noticed dust on the table upon check-in and obvious stain marks on the wall near the trash can in the corner, though the bathroom and bedding were very clean. The hotel breakfast offered very few options, so I wouldn't recommend booking a room with breakfast included, as it's not worth the extra cost. I stayed for three nights and overall, the experience was decent. You can request daily room cleaning and towel changes, and it's generally quiet at night with little noise, except for some sounds from noisy neighbors next door…

I stayed at this hotel for the past 6 years and the service kept degrading... the foreign staff there does not understand what "Services" business means. The marketing staff dvertises a double bed by saying "small double room"... we booked with trust thinking that it was a double "bed" in a normal room. It was a single bed. I went to ask for a change (as we were two people), but the front desk woman insisted that it was a "small double bed"... (120cm wide) she made me pay 15000 yen extra to get a double single beds bedroom... BUT, in that double single beds bedroom the "single" beds are exactly the same size than the bed in the "double bedroom"... after hours spent with Trip service and arguing with the manager, I could get a refund and they changed us to a small room with a narrow Queen bed. Disappointed. Will stay there again as a solo traveler for the area... but no longer my first choice.

The location is convenient, and I'm really satisfied with the facilities and environment. The room was small (which is typical for budget hotels in Japan), but the cleanliness was excellent, and the service was very good. Highly recommended!

The location is excellent, very close to the subway. The breakfast is rich and varied, with all sorts of drinks. Toiletries are available at the front desk for guests to take as needed, just be mindful not to waste them! They also provide city maps in various languages, which is very helpful for travelers.

It's pretty good, actually! Quite acceptable. Given our limited budget, booking a hotel like this was a decent option. The room was a bit small, but that's to be expected when you're on a tighter budget. Overall, it was still perfectly fine. If you're looking for a larger room, you'll definitely need to increase your spending. Nice!
