DDD Hotel in Tokyo

First of all, the hotel smells incredible—I can’t quite put my finger on it, but walking in feels like stepping into an Aesop store in the best way.

The room itself was lovely, and the bed was super comfortable—definitely made it easy to unwind.

One quirky detail: the bathroom has a glass enclosure around the toilet. It’s kind of funny… but also a little strange. Not a dealbreaker, just something you don’t see every day.

This hotel is located very near to the Tokyo station and is very clean and well maintained! The only downside is that they do not offer self service laundry services. However, this can be mitigated as there is a laundromat just a couple of minutes away from the hotel.

My second time staying here when I’m in Tokyo, since my first stay a few years ago. The check-in and check-out process is still smooth and easy. The staff are friendly, and the room is nice and clean. Would def return.

Love the hotel design so much. Sleek. The bar is awesome. Just you need to walk a bit more to train station.

It’s very minimal and lovely. Even thought we booked a small room but the bathroom with shower is quite big in ratio. I like they have iron provided.

The overall design of DDD is excellent. There's a Michelin-starred restaurant on the first floor, and the front desk, coffee shop, and breakfast area are on the second floor. Due to my tight schedule this trip, I specifically booked a single occupancy room. While it was very minimalist, it was much smaller than I expected. However, it was well-organized, and everything I needed was available.

Good location, clean, amenities are welled supplied. They have everything you need even sewing kit, however the room is very small. I dun think it’s 155sqft as description. Overall 8/10

The room design was quite interesting, and the hotel itself had a great overall aesthetic. My only complaint was that the rooms facing the street were very noisy. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. It's also close to the subway station, making it super convenient to get to Akihabara, and the breakfast buffet was delicious.

There's no laundry service in the hotel, but there's a self-service laundromat right behind it, which costs about 1100 yen per wash.

Booked a twin room the size and decor is nice. Bed and pillow comfortable. The room smells a little damp, and there is dust on the head board

This hotel is located in a very convenient area, close to the Shinjuku and Asakusa metro lines as well as the JR Sobu Line. From the Asakusa Line, it only takes a few stops to reach Ginza and Asakusa Temple. Access to Haneda Airport is also quite easy via the Keikyu Asakusa Line. However, a more comfortable option is taking the Airport Limousine Bus to Tokyo Station and then a short 7-minute taxi ride to the hotel. The café in the hotel lobby serves tasty coffee at a reasonable price, and the overall décor is cozy with a minimal, modern style.

One downside was the room on the 3rd floor, which had an unpleasant smell. I asked to change rooms around midnight, and while the staff was very helpful, the new room of the same type on the same floor unfortunately had the same issue. However, I got a cup of coffee for the compensation from the hotel manager after I checked out.
