Focus Kuramae in Tokyo

The room lights were broken, and the soundproofing and light-blocking weren't great. However, the overall environment was clean and tidy, the bathroom and shower were comfortable, and there's a coffee shop downstairs. Plus, the guy at the front desk was really handsome! 😍

Great value for money and spotlessly clean! 🧼 The staff were also super friendly and welcoming, which was a real plus. My pet had a very comfortable stay too! 💫 Best of all, the subway station with a direct line to Narita International Airport was incredibly close, which was really convenient. 😎😎

Focus Kuramae is great as always, my first stop for Tokyo by far.

I stayed at a single room, which is enough for me at really affordable cost. And its near kuramae station, so it’s easy to get around.

I just stayed at this hostel with my friends from April 10th-15th, and it was a fantastic experience, especially for a short trip. The location is perfect, just a 2-minute walk from Asakusa Station—super convenient when arriving with luggage. The hostel has a big "FOCUS" sign, making it easy to spot, even at night. The staff were all friendly, and they offer free luggage storage. The kitchen had drinking water available, and you can use the kitchen and even store your food in the public fridge—just label your items, which I found really cool. There are plenty of toilets available, clean, and have heated seats! The showers and bathrooms were also kept clean. The bed was comfy, especially for a hostel, but if you have neck or back issues, I’d recommend bringing your own pillow for extra support. Overall, if you're young, traveling, and looking for a great spot in Japan, this place is perfect!

Exactly as what one expected from a guesthouse type accommodation.

Stayed in the double private room. It was cozy and right next to the shower and bathrooms. Loved the cleanliness and location of this hotel. The lounge area is aesthetic and serves food too. Train station is only a 10 minute walk away.
