Karla
Great place for the value, nice reception, locable storage, comfortable beds. Perfect for one night stay.

If you are travelling alone in Tokyo all day and just searching for a cheap place to sleep and leave all your luggage, this is in my opinion the best option.
You walk 10min. from Iriya station (subway), which is 1 station from Ueno Station.
I stayed 5 days and I was really grateful for the student discount. They also accept foreign student cards. The check-in was really easy and the people at the reception were really nice. The locker room is quite huge, so you can leave your luggage there while travelling. The Wi-Fi was also good and you can change your bedsheets every day if you want to. As a woman you get a amenity bag every day which includes toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, body shampoo, hair brush, and a sanitary napkin. In order to help the environment I recommend only asking for the necessary stuff like shampoo for the following days in case you are staying more than one night. The toilets and the shower rooms are quite clean, I don’t know what people who are complaining here are expecting for this price. There is also a microwave, hot water and a vending machine which was really helpful.

All in one it was a positively surprising visit and if you are not afraid to sleep in a floor (women only) with curtain only beds I totally recommend this hotel.

Went there in 2018 and 2019. Prices are really cheap despite being located in a quite calm place close to the subway.
Hope I'll be able to stay there again if I have the opportunity to come back to Japan.
Allan
I was sleeping there for two nights.
The only good thing, the guys from the reception, really nice and good welcome.
I didn't like to stay there because the hostel has some stupid rules like, you can't use the common room after check out and before check-in, you can leave your backpack after check out just for few hours, no more than 6pm.
The smell also was really bad in some areas like the shower and common area.
Futons were just nothing, you sleep almost in the floor, the worst futon I tried in Japan, same for pillow, sincerely you will find a better place to stay in Tokyo for the same price or even cheaper.
You guys should improve in these rules, they are stupid and I don't think you will spend a lot of money just leaving your guests stay there for some hours after check out in the common area and they will be more happy and writing good references.
Kuro
Awesome place to sleep, sanitary comfort with a good staff. It's inexpensive and you can put your luggage at the reception if you're too early there. The only problem might be the location because it is somehow far away from the next train station, if you have big luggages it is a hard task to arrive but it isn't impossible of course. You have your own private capsule room, the rooftop is nice and you learn also other travellers. I'd go there again
Saemon
Stayed for 7 nights. The bed in the superior rooms felt like sleeping on a rock. But I did not travel to Japan to sleep!
Every capsule has their own private large wardrobe style storage, not a locker, much larger than a locker, a size which I have not yet seen in any other capsule hotel.
The staff is really nice. Some of the staff speak good English. I loved my stay. If you want to go to Japan to explore and spend every waking second outside, then this hotel is perfect! There is also a really nice common rooftop chill area with vending machines.
Share your experiences, help others make the right choice!
Think about what you would like to know if you were looking for a review about a place to relax. Please describe in detail what you liked and what you didn't. What would you advise to other guests and to the hotel owner. The more fully you tell about the hotel, the easier it will be for other people to make a choice and they will be very grateful to you!
