Bunshodo Hotel in Fukuoka

Was a bit surprised the toilet and shower were outside the room, haha. The room itself was nice though...

The hotel is near Hakata Station.
It was dark on the way back at night.
It will be safer if you have at least 2-3 friends together!
The toilets and bathrooms are public and the bathrooms are clean.
The room is small, with only a bed and a small wash basin.
If my family wants an electric kettle to boil water, they can borrow it from the counter.

I stayed here for 2 nights, and unfortunately, I was disappointed.

At first glance, the hotel has a lot of potential. It’s stylish, in a great location, and I don’t mind sharing a bathroom if it means more space to sleep. However, my main concern is that the place was very dirty.

The fan near my bed was covered in dust, and just looking at it made me feel uncomfortable. The bed itself was also dirty, to the point where I had to use a towel to clean it myself.

The worst part was the shower room, which was extremely dirty. With only 3-4 shower rooms to maintain, I don’t understand why it couldn’t be kept cleaner.

Don’t judge the book by its cover. The hotel looks great from the outside, almost like an art gallery, but after staying here, I regretted it. If only they focused more on cleanliness, it could be a perfect place to stay.
