The hotel is less than a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station, which is quite convenient. The room was a bit small, and it seemed like the bathroom fan couldn't be turned off, making a slight noise. Breakfast was good and quite extensive!

Standard Japanese business hotel, rooms were a little dirtier than usual (the walls and seats had lots of stains on them). Other than that, the service was good.

Location is not too far off Hakata Station. They have free hot coffee which is nice, but their bed is really really hard. Might wanna think twice. Room size is decent by Japan standards.

The hotel is about a 7-8 minute walk from Hakata Station's Chikushi Gate, which is quite convenient for getting around. Nearby, there's a Matsumoto Kiyoshi pharmacy and a Yodobashi Camera electronics store. Shopping options around Hakata Station are abundant, so the location is excellent.

The service was great, and the location was excellent. However, the room was incredibly tiny. I honestly don't know how anyone could manage to open a 24-inch suitcase in there.

The most illogical thing was the armchair in the room; it was far too big and couldn't be moved aside. Sitting on it was awkward and cramped. A simple stool would have been much more practical. This chair was just in the way.

On the other hand, the bathroom was quite spacious, despite being a separate compartment. The bathtub was very large, and you could stand in it comfortably without feeling squeezed. Just a heads-up, though, the tub is quite high, so ladies should be a bit careful when getting in.

Booked this hotel for a concert in Fukuoka, and I loved that they had a little promotional stand for the concert in the lobby – a thoughtful touch! I booked a single room, but the bed was huge, easily big enough for two people. The bathroom was also very spacious. Definitely great value for money.

For getting to the airport, I recommend walking a bit to the Chikushi-guchi bus stop outside Hakata Station. There's a direct bus to the airport from there, which is both comfortable and affordable.

I traveled solo in Fukuoka for 4 days and stayed at The B for three nights. The room was really small, definitely only suitable for one person. My 28-inch suitcase barely fit in the hallway (inside the room).

Regarding cleanliness, I felt itchy as soon as I got into bed. I ended up sleeping in long sleeves and long pants to endure it. The room only got a thorough cleaning on the third day; otherwise, it was just towel changes and trash disposal.

My takeaway is that next time I book a hotel, I'll make sure it has a rating of 4.5 or higher.

P.S. I've seen the hotel's replies to customer reviews on Ctrip, and some of their responses to criticism were quite harsh.

Japanese hotel rooms are famously small, and with two people and two suitcases, we really had to rack our brains to fit them in. One ended up under the bed and the other in the aisle. However, despite being small, it had everything we needed and was very clean. We had to pay an additional tax upon check-in, even though I had already paid online. The second hotel I booked allowed me to pay upon check-out, which didn't involve this extra step. The hotel didn't provide bottled water, but there was a kettle. If you're not particular about the quality of toiletries, the hotel provides them, so there's no need to bring your own and add to your luggage weight.
The hotel's location is excellent, near Hakata Station, making transportation very convenient. The meeting point for the one-day tour to Mount Aso and Takachiho Gorge was also right in front of Hakata Station.
Breakfast was included and served at the restaurant by the entrance. The selection was small but exquisite. Every day, I enjoyed a bowl of rice with various dishes, coffee, small pastries, and yogurt. It's a shame there wasn't any fresh fruit. In the evening, they also had an outdoor BBQ.

This is my second stay here, and I personally find it quite good. It's very close to Hakata Station; after taking the bus from the airport to Hakata Station, it's less than a 10-minute walk. The rooms are also fine.

The breakfast offers a good mix of Japanese and Western options, including salads, bread, cakes, as well as ramen and rice (where you can add your own broth). For drinks, there's coffee, milk, and juice.

The only minor inconvenience is that the room's air conditioning only has four settings (off, low, medium, high) without specific temperature control. Medium felt too cold, while low felt too hot. However, it's a minor issue overall. I'd probably stay here again if I come back to Fukuoka.

Extremely satisfied; it far exceeded my expectations. The price for my stay was also very reasonable. I'm used to Japanese hotel rooms being on the smaller side, so it being quiet and clean was a big plus. They also offer luggage storage. The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from Hakata Station. This makes it convenient for getting anywhere, and you won't have to worry about finding places to eat, drink, or shop. There are convenience stores all around the hotel, and a Matsuya right next door, perfect for a quick and simple meal. Next time I'm in Fukuoka, I would definitely consider staying here again.
