Dormy Inn Express Sendai Hirosedori, Sendai1 / 30

Sendai, 2-10-17 Chuo, Aoba-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I was surprised with the New year’s soba treat! It’s great! The place is quite comfortable to stay only few minutes away to stroll downtown. I’d like to stay next time of my visit. Thank you!
No women's communal bath? That really diminishes Dormy Inn's value. I specifically chose Dormy Inn for that experience. It would have been even worse if breakfast had been bad.
Good Dormy as well. But this probably will be a slight negative ladies as there is only public bath for men. However, do note, you can ask the front desk to use other Dormy nearby public bath!! Even for guys, the bath is small so it is not the best for usage if there are quite a few people there. So the ticket to use other Dormy bath is a good option which I did use onyado which is just opposite....
The name looks new, but the building is old. It was the first time in a long time that I could stay in a hotel that uses an old-fashioned key, not a card key. The facilities are also old, but they were kept clean. There is a big difference between the floor of the room and the unit bath, and I was concerned about the steps (one step) placed in the room. Be careful when you are drunk. The breakfast...
The cheapest hotel I can get at that day for two person. It has a public bath and free night snacks.
The facilities are old. The bathroom is a step higher than the room, and the old design makes it feel oppressive. If it was about 2,000 yen cheaper, the cost performance would be the same. It's enough as a base for visiting delicious food in Sendai, Shiogama, and Matsushima. It's also easy to access the nightlife.

It seems to have just been renovated; it's clean and the service is good. There's a park, Lawson convenience store, 7-Eleven, and a 24-hour donburi restaurant nearby. It's an 8-minute walk from the east exit of the station and a 4-minute walk from Miyagino-dori. There are public areas available, including a microwave and a paid washer-dryer (card payment accepted). A simple breakfast is served,...
The hotel is close to the train station, and there are many restaurants nearby. However, this also means there's a lot of noise in the surrounding area. The hotel rooms are small but comfortable. The check-in (4:00 pm) and check-out (10:00 am) times are not ideal, which is the hotel's main problem.
The best Toyoku Inn breakfast yet!!!
Thank you for letting us know where the parking lot is.
The breakfast is excellent and has plenty of choice for each preference. This is one of the best hotel breakfast I had experienced in Sendai area.
It's a Toyoko Inn, a standardized salaryman's business hotel. You get a room with a shower, toilet, and TV. Wifi is spotty. Breakfast is riceballs.

The location is in the shopping area. Donki is near. Quite close to Sendai Station. The room is cozy and big enough to unpack 28” luggage. The reception counter is on the second floor with going up the stairs, but the staff will lead you to an elevator on the first floor to move your luggage.
superb location, i literally can go back to rest whenever i feel tired
This hotel is incredibly convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Sendai Station, located right in a shopping arcade with tons of restaurants and shops, including a Don Quijote just 2 minutes away. The bus stop for Yamagata is also a mere 2-minute walk. The lobby offers 24-hour free coffee, and there are lockers for guests to store luggage before check-in or after check-out. The service is excellent....
The location is excellent, situated in a shopping street, very close to the train and bus stations. Aside from the small size, everything else is fine. There's a 24-hour front desk, and you can expect to use the washer and dryer for 3 hours. The front desk is on the 2nd floor, and the elevator is at the back of the underground staircase. I would book again if I come to Sendai.
The room was clean and nice. The lobby was also clean and the service was excellent, so it was a very satisfying hotel for the price.
The room was clean and bright, the bed was comfortable, the soundproofing was good, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the location was convenient, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely visit again. I recommend it to all travelers.

For about 1200¥ you can go to the onsen of this hotel. It's very good !
For onsen only : Realy great onsen for 1200yen with towel. It's a shame that it's only open from 11h to 15h (last entry at 14h) if you are not spending the day at the ryokan.
Beautiful and really nice place. Their hospitality is great.
Loved our experience here, despite smokers in the hallway (of a non-smoking floor). The fancy bar was closed while we were there (assume off-season), but the karaoke and izakaya were open and lovely. Do try the house sake from the izakaya, truly great. The set meals, both dinner and breakfast were also amazing. Onsens were great and staff were very accommodating, despite the language barrier.
Decent place. Was rather expensive for what you got. Traditional style rooms, probably the worst breakfast I've had, and typical overprice meals. Very little English communication, but was still doable. The onsen, or bathing area, was really nice. But I went to better ones in the big city. Not much to do around the hotel either. But that may have been due to poor planning.
Great onsen hot springs with different temperatures, sit down and stand up showers, and outdoor bath. Daytime onsen use avaiIiable for about 1300 yen. Most staff speak a little English.

Good location Can walk from JR station about 10 minutes
Great hotel for the price, very polite guest service and the place is quite clean.
Good hotel overall, but our room was too hot. Service was just okay—there were a few things they forgot to tell us in advance.
Excellent location, right next to a busy shopping street and within walking distance of the JR train station. The room was small but clean. The most unsatisfactory part was the air conditioning, which was too hot and couldn't be adjusted. The facilities felt a bit dated. Everything else was good though, like the facilities, free coffee, and the elevator.
The premium in the name is just decoration, the rooms are really old.
Good location. Comfortable for travelling.

After an 8-day trip to Tohoku, I checked into the hotel the night before my return flight from Sendai Airport. The hotel was fully booked, so I was assigned to a smoking room on the ground floor. The smell of smoke was very strong, and the room felt a bit old. Free parking and breakfast were provided; the breakfast was very plentiful, better than Toyoko Inn and APA. There are many chain restaurants...
The facilities were a little dated, but the comfort outweighed that. The room was spacious, the free breakfast was excellent, and the bed was comfortable. I stayed here because I couldn't book a hotel near Sendai Station, but I would like to use this hotel again on my next business trip. The nearest station is also the first stop on the Tozai Line, so I'm sure I'll get a seat.

20 min walk to Sendai Station. 5 min walk to other bus and train station. Large lockers. Clean. Large showers. Affordable. You have to leave between 11-3 for cleaning. Plent of food places. Near shopping street.
You have to ask for toothbrushes at the front desk; they weren't provided at check-in.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I particularly appreciated how the bath and luggage storage areas were separate from the capsule area, which made for a much quieter and more restful stay compared to other similar facilities. There were also plenty of showers, sinks, and hairdryers, so I never felt like it was crowded. Another nice touch was that each guest received their own bath mat. This...
This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, but I had a very comfortable experience. I wasn't bothered much by noise from other guests.
Amazing location, clean and quiet space. Locker area and bathroom area are exceptionally clean as well.
Great stay if you are looking for a convenient location for public transit and clean amenities. Access to plenty of konbinis, cheap eats and shopping streets as well. The lockers were compact which made it challenging during our 5 night stay. Hope they will consider a packing stall area to make it easier when repacking. Also recommend a laundromat close by (Fuwafuwarando Omachiten Coin Laundry).

It was nice. The location is convenient
For the price, the room was clean, and while it's not a grand public bath, there's a good-sized bath and even a sauna. Plus, the free drink bar at the entrance was a great bonus. It was a really nice place overall. My only minor suggestion would be to add a dedicated relaxation area.
Excellent customer service. Oppoaite hotel there is 7 11. There is coffee bar sand any other drinks too. Enjoy... Room is relatively small and only book when you okay with small room.
Good place, walk from Sendai station around 10 min.
Hotel is a bit old, but good welcoming service (and free drinks on the first floor with a good choice), location is convenient, good restaurants and a supermarket nearby
The hotel was within walking distance of the station and there were many convenience stores, shopping streets, and restaurants on the way there, so it wasn't inconvenient. The room was a little small, but I think it was worth the price. Thank you for your help.

Looks like converted from an office building. The elevator didn’t impose any permission checks, plus the lobby is on the 2nd floor, technically someone can take the lift from 1st floor all the way up and stand in front of the rooms.
We were staying at room 611. There was 1 morning when we woke up, we were greeted with snowy scenery from our hotel room window. We love our room because it is facing the cliss road shopping street. It has beautiful night scenery. There is a drinking vending machine at the lobby for hotel guests.
The hotel is in a walking area to the main shopping district and also near to the central station. The rooms are very small but it’s okay for a single person. There is a 24 hours drink bar on the second floor. Can drink soft drinks including hot coffee.
The hotel is located on the 2nd floor and without a clear hotel signage shown which made it hard for us the find even though we are using waze. If you are driving , this hotel is really not convenient as there is no hotel parking . Spent so much time to find the nearest parking spot when the parking adjacent to the hotel is full . The family room was big There was coffee and alcohol bar at the lobby Can borrow Manga for free at the lobby It takes around 15mins from the Sendai Station. I would come back to this hotel again
Location couldn't be better. Staff speaks just a little bit of English, but it's possible to find workarounds with translator or if you know just a little bit of Japanese. Considering the prices of the region, it was the best cost benefit that we could find. The Japanese bath is quite good, you would need to spend much more for a better hotel.

You can tell they care about cleanliness. You can hear the voices from the next room.
The employees are too passive and seem to expect foreigners to have the same autonomy as the Japanese.
This room is not good and run down but for a night stay to sleep is ok . The amenities are bad and I booked 2 + 1 but they give 1 set of amenities only and extra need to pay . Bed is so small I had to sleep like that
The location is great, close to Sendai Station, and the nearest staircase to the pedestrian bridge to the second floor is an escalator, which is very convenient. The room isn't too small, but the facilities are old, the bathroom is too small, and the air conditioning isn't strong.

Breakfast is a buffet breakfast, very varied, good taste; dinner two nights are different, one night for Western, one night for Japanese, each with its own characteristics. There is a free shuttle bus to Sendai Station for reservations, which is convenient.
I had business in Sendai, and initially planned to stay in the city, but all the other hotels were full with guests attending the Kis-My-Ft2 concert, so I stayed at this hotel, which I'd stayed at before. Last time, I had to choose between meat or fish, but this time I got a plan that included both meat and fish, and with a discount coupon from Jalan, I was able to stay for about 15,000 yen per person...

It was cheaper than the surrounding hotels, but the bed was comfortable, not a semi-double, as is common. The location was not bad either, being close to the downtown area. The only negative points were that the bathroom was small and the room was right in front of the elevator, so conversations could be heard everywhere.
The hotel is about 15 minutes away from Sendai Station and is located near the shopping street, so there is no problem with shopping, eating and supper. The main problem is that the pillow is very flat, which is not good for sleep quality.
