Good Dormy as well. But this probably will be a slight negative ladies as there is only public bath for men. However, do note, you can ask the front desk to use other Dormy nearby public bath!!

Even for guys, the bath is small so it is not the best for usage if there are quite a few people there. So the ticket to use other Dormy bath is a good option which I did use onyado which is just opposite. The one thing I do like is the washing is free and you can use the massage chair for free(though it probably can use a refurbishing (

I was surprised with the New year’s soba treat! It’s great! The place is quite comfortable to stay only few minutes away to stroll downtown. I’d like to stay next time of my visit. Thank you!

No women's communal bath? That really diminishes Dormy Inn's value. I specifically chose Dormy Inn for that experience. It would have been even worse if breakfast had been bad.

The name looks new, but the building is old. It was the first time in a long time that I could stay in a hotel that uses an old-fashioned key, not a card key. The facilities are also old, but they were kept clean. There is a big difference between the floor of the room and the unit bath, and I was concerned about the steps (one step) placed in the room. Be careful when you are drunk. The breakfast buffet was a standard business hotel lineup, but it was good. I did not use the large bathroom this time. The large bathroom was for men only. The room rate was a little cheaper than other hotels due to the older facilities.

Stayed on a weekday, 2025/6. About 10 minutes walk from Sendai station. I wonder if you can get there without an umbrella even on a rainy day if you go through the covered shopping street. There was a sauna, but the only tidy space was one chair in the bathroom. Breakfast was buffet style with a wide variety of dishes such as Sendai's famous sasa-kamaboko, beef tongue curry, and zunda rice cakes. I had planned to go to the famous morning market, but I ate too much and became full, so I gave up on the morning market. Since it is a dormy inn, there are complimentary nightly buckwheat noodles, ice cream at night, and lactic acid drinks in the morning.

The cheapest hotel I can get at that day for two person. It has a public bath and free night snacks.

The facilities are old. The bathroom is a step higher than the room, and the old design makes it feel oppressive.
If it was about 2,000 yen cheaper, the cost performance would be the same.
It's enough as a base for visiting delicious food in Sendai, Shiogama, and Matsushima. It's also easy to access the nightlife.

The front desk staff was very friendly and had a great smile. I asked for a blanket and they responded quickly. The shampoo and conditioner they had on hand had a nice scent, and they also had a deodorizing spray for clothes, which was very helpful. It was a very fulfilling stay.

I booked this hotel for their free supper noodle. Had it once at Kumamoto & pining for it ever since. The onsen here only for men. Women had to go opposite hotels. Booked a smoking room & the whole floor smells of smoke. Windows cannot be opened hence was stuffy. To use the toilet you had to take a huge step up… breakfast was delicious. Not a hotel I would choose again. Kinda far from Sendai station. But near to shopping streets.
