This is where I booked a room to visit Lake Big Almaty and Mt. Arakha in Almaty. It is a bit away from the city center, but I enjoyed a glass of wine on the terrace while looking at the snow-capped mountains. It is also in a great location for visiting art galleries and museums the next day.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff are rude and clearly don't care about their guests. It's incredibly noisy, making it impossible to sleep. They promised a room with a mountain view, but we ended up with one overlooking the highway. We canceled our reservation two days early, and they refused to refund our money, telling us to sort it out with Trip.com, claiming Trip.com sent a request for a room without a mountain view. Seriously, don't waste your money here. My rating is 1 star.

It's a very clean hotel. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful.

One of the ever worst Hotel in Almaty with its impolite staff, zero respect and zero service.
I don’t recommend here to any one else.
It was 04:00am the receptionist knocked the door and asked me for payment without any question or any excuse just directly; “you have two nights of payment just do it now” I was like shocked and what is going on??
Trust me the staff is bad and impolite enough that’s all.
There is no water in the rooms. You need to ask the receptionist at least to take one or two bottles of water.
No phone is the rooms to call the receptionist.
I didn’t know about breakfast no one told or explained me about the breakfast until I understood that the mentioned price is included the breakfast.
In short I can tell you please don’t make yourself feel bad with your money.

Pros: The hotel is not bad, clean, very warm in the rooms, cozy!
Cons: there are issues with personnel, the administrator at the reception is blonde, she can’t speak, she’s not competent with collective farm habits, there is no basic proper communication with guests, she spoils the impression of the hotel!

Previously, we stayed at this hotel very often, a year ago I was surprised by the snow-white linen and service, there was nothing to complain about. But now it’s not very pleasant, the linen is stained, you can’t get a bottle of water without reminding the administrator, the TV is disconnected from Wi-fi. They check into your room without making sure it is spotless. The administrator is sitting on his pants. We ask management to monitor the work of your administrators (most effectively with fake clients), thank you for your attention.
I wish to return to the previous level of 5 stars

When choosing a hotel, we took into account its location, the comfort of the rooms (and their design also influenced our choice).
Among the inconveniences: you had to put on outerwear to go to the restaurant for breakfast, it is especially uncomfortable when you are with children 😕 the breakfasts were not tasty and there was little choice.
For some reason, the request to clean the room when we were not there was repeatedly ignored.
Unfortunately, we will not decide to stay there again.
Share your experiences, help others make the right choice!
Think about what you would like to know if you were looking for a review about a place to relax. Please describe in detail what you liked and what you didn't. What would you advise to other guests and to the hotel owner. The more fully you tell about the hotel, the easier it will be for other people to make a choice and they will be very grateful to you!
