Good customer service and location.

Me and my coworker stayed this hotel for a night. Location is good, near to everything. Reception was polite and kind. But he offers us 2 rooms in the first floor near by reception which is just like next to the street. And we felt little strange cause you can hear people talking in the outside and traffic noice the whole night. Also room was little bit small and another room was spacious. But for 1 night its okay. You can walk and see so much things from this area.

The hotel is in a good location. The room is clean. The staff is friendly. Don't forget the 20,000 tenge deposit when checking in (I haven't encountered this at other hotels). The room has everything you need, so I can't complain, but I felt like this one had seen a lot of use (a cracked window taped shut and the one next to it that wouldn't close spoiled the impression a bit; perhaps that's why they charge a deposit, as not everyone uses the property carefully). Overall, everything was perfect for exploring the city for a few days—it had everything you need (the air conditioning worked well, the TV did, the WiFi worked well, cleaning was done daily 👍, drinking water, a kettle, a hairdryer, and plenty of shower gel and shampoo). Thank you! I recommend it.

It's hidden in a small neighborhood and doesn't have a big front, but it's well-organized. The guy at the front desk was very polite and reminded me of everything I needed to know before check-in. Check-in and check-out were quick. The room was large enough and well-equipped. The tatami-style bed was very soft (I personally prefer a firmer one, but that doesn't affect the rating). Overall, it was quiet and convenient, exceeding my expectations.

We really liked the customer service. The young man at reception (Alken) was fantastic; he was friendly, chatty and helpful. The cleaning staff were also very nice and did a great job. The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance to handy bus routes, and not too far from metro stations. There's a cool food court called Platform A a short distance away. It was good value for money. We liked that they provide free drinking water (both in the rooms and at reception). We liked it enough to stay another 3 nights.

Reminder to friends in China:
I thought it was okay to stay in a simple hotel when traveling abroad, but I encountered a very annoying thing (English was not communicated in the local area):
I booked two nights online, and extended my stay directly at the front desk on the third day (Room 107). Because I had to pay a deposit of 20,000 tenge, and I didn’t have cash at the time, I was asked to pay 300 yuan as a deposit.
The next day, December 31, when I checked out at 7 am to catch the international bus, I asked for a refund of the deposit. As a result, after the front desk checked the room, they asked that the drinks in the small refrigerator in the room had been consumed, and I had to pay for all the drinks.
But in fact, I didn’t touch or take any drinks in the refrigerator..., that is, the refrigerator was empty when I checked in, but I had to pay for it when I checked out..., because of the language barrier, it took a long time, and the front desk kept giving feedback to the boss...,
Then I called a local friend, and the local friend communicated with the front desk. The friend also said that he wanted to complain about their hotel...,
Finally, the front desk refunded the 300 yuan deposit.
To be honest: I don't know whether the hotel originally wanted to cheat foreigners like us of our deposit - there were no drinks in the room refrigerator (because when checking out, customers are usually in a hurry to catch the bus and have no time to complain or cannot complain due to language barriers), or the waiter really forgot to put the drinks in the refrigerator. I think it is most likely the former, because when guests check out, it is a fixed procedure for the waiter to clean the room and check the drinks, it is impossible for him to forget to put them in... Maybe it was because I had a local friend who came forward to communicate with me and I was afraid that my friend would complain, so I finally returned the deposit.

The house is almost like a basement, and a deposit of 20,000 tenge is required. There is no heating, the air conditioner is broken, the front desk has a bad attitude, it is very rubbish

I was invited to this place for small event and the organizer booked the VIP room which was located on the 0 floor.the food was tasty and the service was okay and the acoustics for karaoke was also not bad, so I'm generally satisfied with this place and I might be back

This is the worst possible hotel I have ever experienced in my lifetime. Don't have words to express my dissatisfaction and anger. You cannot imagine it's a hell. No service. No manners. Rude and unwelcoming staff. No room cleaning. No tea or water in the room. Everyday we collected compimentory water from reception ourself. We requested ice in the room they said they will send fast but it never reached. Very bad breakfast. At breakfast time staff is eating himself instead of serving to guests.if you are vegetarian, then you cannot eat anything here. You ll not get even proper tea or coffee. After lot of complaining they gave stale n stinking sambher with rotten smell & bitter taste. 2 days old poha was served which no one could even chew. You keep asking them, they will not listen, understand or deliver anything. Rather it's very insulting for any guest that they laugh at you. Even serving old stale food or eating themselves before guest id also very insulting for a guest. Staff doesn't deserve to be in hospitality industry at all.
So never ever go or advice anyone to choose this rotten so-called hotel to stay in Almaty.
I am still feeling that I have said very less.

Worst hotel in my lifetime .non cooperative staff. Even not giving glasses, cattles, in spite of asking so many times. Their response is very rude we don't have. Not giving drinking water even in breakfast.fixed manu four days. Cold half fried omelette ,cold bread ,cold hot coffee, few slices of apple orange and tomatoes. Breakfast start at 8.30 and at9. 15 you get answer that this is finished. Misbehaving your guests, we have to use towels and sanitaries for two days because no house keeping, and they even don't understand simple English words. Never advise anyone to go there.

Good hotel. Newly renovated. Breakfast needs more variety. Rooms are decorated well. Mirror is missing in dressing area. Overall value for money. Entrance is slightly obscure.
