Hi hotel in Almaty

I made a reservation at this hotel. They told me payment had to be made before check-in using the card number I provided. I asked for the amount.
They told me the amount.
I sent it. They said they received it and wrote that the REMAINING BALANCE would have to be paid upon check-in, even though I sent the exact amount they said. I canceled the reservation. They won't refund my money, and they're just giving me a hard time on WhatsApp.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The rooms was good, clean and quite big. All was good although the location is not accurate based on this location point, but it’s nearby the mall. It took some time to find it and we were roaming around. However, everything turns out nightmare when checked out at 10am and returned at 3pm to take our luggage, the lady at the counter told us that one of our small towel had dirt and we need to pay 20k which is ridiculous. They showed us the towel that soak on the detergent and we confident we not did that and it looks old dirt that been there and couldn’t remove it. I use goggle translate said that “i read other guest review that you did the same thing, claim that they made the dirt and you ask for compensation. Are you trying to do the same trick to rip us off? Is this scam?” Then she suddenly ask us to leave. We took our bag and leave with really pissed off. I travel a lot and stayed at thousands of hotels but never experienced this kind of weird hotel policy and staff.

I strongly do not recommend this hotel!
I left my personal belongings (bag and suitcase) for long-term storage by agreement with the administration - due to illness, I could not pick them up on time. All this time, the things were stored on a closed balcony of the hotel. I regularly contacted the administration and reminded them about myself and my things.

After 5 months, as soon as I felt better and said that I would come to pick them up, I was told that everything was thrown out. After my demand to contact the management - I was simply blocked in all messengers and social networks.

This is unacceptable. I am forced to contact the competent authorities for compensation.

Very disappointed. Be careful - you should not trust this place with your things under any circumstances!
