. Perfect heating for winter.. Good location
We were a big group staying at Astra Hotel in Almaty, and almost everyone in our group faced the same issues. The rooms were not cleaned properly, and for an entire week the bed sheets, pillowcases, and duvet covers were not changed until I personally went to the reception and insisted. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel.
The breakfast was terrible – no variation, very poor quality, and the same thing every day. On top of that, the staff were extremely serious, unwelcoming, and showed zero sense of hospitality.
Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I would never stay here again, and I definitely do not recommend it to anyone visiting Almaty.
