This boutique hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the mall and the city square. The Turkish lamp aesthetic is beautiful and creates a lovely atmosphere. Our room was spacious and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. Just a couple of things to note: there is no lift to the first floor, which is worth considering if you have heavy bags, and the breakfast is a bit basic. Overall, a great stay in a very convenient spot!

Cute hotel, location is good
However wifi doesn’t work well at all, water is not hot enough to shower and water is leaking from it, bed not really comfortable. Didn’t try the breakfast tho..

Great location of the hotel with beautiful decoration and friendly staff. However the rooms are in bad condition. The phones doesn’t work, the lights isn’t bright enough and the lamps are not working. The water pipe broke at causes other rooms not to have water in the morning. This hotel needs a major make over.

I don‘t understand the good rating of this hotel. It is located directly next to one of the busiest streets in Bishkek. The windows don‘t isolate sound well, so it almost feels like you‘re sleeping directly next to the street. The bathrooms are run down and need to be renovated and the Wifi is so slow it is unusable. Breakfast was nothing special.

I had a couple of nights here at the start and end of a great trek in The Tian Shan mountains. Firstly, check in was very smooth and easy, even when a group of us all arrived together. The rooms are tastefully decorated with traditional Kyrgyz colours and materials making it a pleasure to be there. All the amenities you would expect from a hotel like this, well equipped bathroom, drinking water on hand etc. The location is good for local restaurants and not too far from the main attractions in Bishkek. If you want somewhere clean with good service and small hotel charm, then this is the perfect place for you.

This hotel flatters to deceive. Admittedly, it might have changed since we stayed there. Yes, it is well located. However, the price point of this hotel is expensive for what you receive. More than $200USD for one night for a room that felt worn out. Yes, it has traditional Kyrgyz items hanging throughout, including beautifully made shyrdak (elaborate carpet art made from felt), komuz (stringed instrument made from wood) and ornamental lamps which we couldn’t help but photograph repeatedly. Yet the hotel needs to be more than a showcase for local artisans. The breakfast was minimal and it felt like we were in a cheap bed and breakfast or hostel, not a $200 plus hotel for one night. Some eggs, two pieces of bread, sliced meat, a yoghurt container, some coffee or tea, seated in a small, stuffy room. If you’re one of those diplomatic types that I’ve met in this country that like to tell you how much they can expense to their government, while ironically there aren’t enough social programs back home because “we need to find the funding,” sure go for it. But if you have any kind of budget, go somewhere else for a better value for money experience. Or try and book when there is a big discount available, to view the décor. If you want to see traditional Kyrgyz culture for less, go to the under $10USD for two people Kyrgyz State History Museum in Ala-Too Square. Well worth a visit.

The hotel is in an excellent position in Bishkek, 10 mins walk to most sights and restaurants in what is a well spread out city. It's a square building on one of the main avenues alongside a park. My room faced the park and the road shaded by trees so was quite dark even in the day but this kept it cool. The room was a good size, clean and traditionally decorated as was the rest of the hotel with hanging rugs etc. It had AC, Fridge, TV, walk in shower, comfy bed. I like to sleep with a window open so there was some road noise though this wasn't noticeable with the window closed. Staff spoke some English and were friendly enough and helpful. The breakfast was good- varied with unusual items such as samosas and pizza. Omelettes and fruit available too. The young girl who worked on weekdays was efficient and smiley although when she wasn't there at the weekend, service was a bit more haphazard. Hotel was popular with foreign visitors and is a good central option for Bishkek. They'll arrange an airport taxi for $20 too.
