The only thing I dislike about the rooms is that the showers do not drain fast enough.
Also, despite having a pool, for some reason, the pool is closed between 10 am to 6 pm! This is Prime swimming time particularly in summer.
We ended up here by chance after our booked accommodation fell through. The hotel is clean and in a good location, walking distance of most places we wanted to visit.
We started in a basic room for night one, then due to room availability for number of nights we needed, we moved into a deluxe room. The shower in both rooms drained slowly.
Rooms: clean and in the deluxe room there is lots of floor space.
Beds: extra soft and cosy!
Breakfast: good range of food and coffee.
Overall, I'd recommend staying here if you don't care about having access to the pool during the day.
Ask for a room not on the main road side if you prefer less morning sun and traffic noise.

Good location, great view from the cafe to the mountains. The girls at the reception are friendly and beautiful:), Everything is clean, I recommend, the breakfasts are delicious.

We arrived at 5 a.m. and they asked us to pay the full one-day price for early check-in before 2 p.m.. The room wasn't occupied and we asked in advance if there was a possibility of an earlier check-in and they said yes if there is such availability. Nonetheless, we had waited in front of the hotel and almost slept on the chairs exhausted from the trip, until 10 a.m. when we paid half day price to enter the room i.e. for 4 hours. This was the first time in all my 30 years of travelling that I had such an experience.
The room was small and had one chair and one glass, and 2 safes ?!, although it was a room with two single beds.
Breakfast is good and the view from the restaurant is unreal.
Location is central and the market next door works 24/7.

Great location. We really enjoyed the pool and sauna, but their opening hours were really strange and kind of disappointing. There was also a lot of miscommunication regarding the number of full body sized towels needed in our room (there was consistently only 1, but we were two people). Not bad, but I'd maybe check out a different hotel next time I'm in Bishkek.

The hotel is in a very central location, and the rooms were perfect — comfortable and clean. The price was very reasonable, and they also prepared lunch boxes for us and arranged airport transport. The driver was excellent. Overall, a great stay: convenient, affordable, and well-organized.

Smart Hotel has a great location in downtown Bishkek. The food is fresh and well-prepared. The breakfast buffet has a nice variety, with the option to get breakfast made to order (options include a custom omelette, porridge (oatmeal, buckwheat, rice, or semolina.).
The staff is professional and engaging.
There is a grocery store right next door that is open until 23:00. Note that the grocery store only takes credit cards in the evening.

A good hotel with good value for money

Disappointed to give 1 star to what was arguably the best hotel of our trip. But we were SCAMMED twice at this place.
First, we were misled about the room rate. Initially, we booked one night via Booking.com but decided to extend our stay with two additional rooms for an extra night. After confirming the rate over the phone with the hotel, we arrived to find the price nearly doubled. The staff claimed no knowledge of the quoted rate, and with no written confirmation and a late-night arrival, we had no choice but to pay the inflated price.
Second, we were overcharged for a massage. At the reception, we were quoted 2000 for the service, a price we confirmed in both English and Russian. However, at checkout, we were billed 3000. We reviewed the CCTV recording with them which showed us confirming the agreed 2000 price but they kept saying that they hear "3000" in the recording. Again, no paper trail and no publicly displayed prices so decided to leave after 30 min of arguing.
Reading other reviews it seems that this a common practice so be careful.

Not much English spoken here but that’s OK we in Kyrgyzstan. Had to wait for checkin 30 minutes notwithstanding room was available. Room is quite small and bed id not comfortable and no end table wall to wall beds (two singles squeezed together. Bathroom is very small. Lots of better options in this town. Good location.

I stayed at this hotel for two days in June while on a business trip to Bishkek. While there, I explored the local neighborhood and ate at the hotel restaurant for breakfast. There is a substantial park near the hotel with a variety of activities available, such as a Ferris wheel, and numerous food vendors. Concerning the breakfast, it was decent. My only complaint was that there was no coffee available at the buffet. I found out it was available at the coffee shop/bar in the same area, but it is a strange setup. There was also not coffee available in the room, only tea. Still, clean, friendly staff, and I felt safe. I am an American and do not speak Russian. The staff had varying English abilities, but we all managed to communicate well enough. I would stay here again.
