The food was good, but not bad and not great. The room had a refrigerator, a Soviet-era TV that didn't even work, a small electric heater, and the bathroom was very noisy. The sink had cold water. A wardrobe, mirrors, and a couple of crooked hangers were missing. Cleaning wasn't provided during the stay. The water on the ground floor was frequently shut off because of the noise. We really enjoyed this place of stay. It's quiet and cozy, away from the bustling city center. The beach is a 7-8-minute walk away. Central hotel. Super welcoming comfortable rooms with plenty of hot water. The staff were brilliant after another hotel let us down on our booking and reception at Nomad were so helpful settling us in for the night. Breakfast was great for the price with porridge, eggs and sausage, pastries and toast. Juices and tea and coffee too. Price was very reasonable overall - we would stay again -

We stayed here for 2 night during our 15day trip trough Kirgistan. I had a room in the mainbuilding with the reception. Room was of a very good size as was my bathroom. All things basic but good and clean. Breakfast was very good I think. Enough to choose from. Location I found good to see and explore the city and sights of Karakol and also nice views of surrounding mountains.

In October for four days 3750 som double room. Everything is great. Only the sink is clogged and the toilet is leaking) but they will fix it, the staff is very polite. The room is clean.

We stopped here as a last minute change of plans on our way around Issyk-Kul. Room was lovely, toilets and bathrooms were good. Staff didn't speak English but we muddled through. Was about £30 for the night. Nice coffee shop around the corner too.

Good hotel, delicious individual breakfast, which is very important in Karakol, as there are many places with a buffet. All is well except * it was cold in the room, either the heating or the warm floor was turned off * the toilet is simply "glued" to the sink and it's terribly inconvenient to wash your hands, to use the toilet * they ask you to immediately pay for the stay and take your passport away...

Everyone must go to Kyrgyzstan Karakol. What a beautiful place on the other corner of the world. However my experience would not have the same with out this great hotel. 1. The service is exceptional, from the owner to the very janitors, people really treat you with their full respect and hospitality. The son of the owner Zakir has been outstanding in proving all the things necessary to make us happy...

We stayed here as part of a G Adventures 5 Stans tour. Comfy beds, luggage storage, adequate free wifi, and a quiet place. Enjoy an ample breakfast of local fresh foods and proteins. Attentive staff. Safe place, A small hotel feel despite its larger size.

Good location.Nice service. Different sizes of rooms. Stayed few nights with 3 teenagers.Toilets in the room.Maintenance of the toilets was not so good.Beds were big enough and comfortable. Laundry-they charge by piece so we didnt use that .Breakfast was good in general,but no refill untill you ask,and one day there was no milk( supermarket is very close). All in all-a good place to stay.

Centrally located the hotel is a great base for visiting the highlights of Karakol including the restaurants, bars and hugely popular walking trails of the surrounding areas. Stayed with G Adventures group tour. No wifi in room. Grocery and liquor store next door but no elevator. Breakfast is in basement so a lot of going up and down stairs. Quiet, nice big bathroom, pretty clean and new, not so good view, across from mosque so hear muezzin, breakfast ok, again nothing gluten free except yogurt and eggs.

The staff is good rooms are bit small in size but comfortable. The biggest problem is of language. It's difficult for the tourists to communicate with the staff. The food standards are not very high

Everything was perfect here, I would totally recommend you staying in Rixon hotel during your visit to Bishkek. The staff are awesome and they speak good English, they will help you with everything you need such as Sim Card, maps, tips, ordering a taxi. We stayed 3 nights and when we planned to fly back we came and stayed another night. The breakfast is good and delicious, fresh fruits and vegetables...

A Hotel in Bishkek is a decent option in the center: excellent value for money. Clean rooms, friendly staff, no breakfast, but delivery is available. Conveniently located: close to major attractions and shops. Far from the highway and noise. Ideal for budget travelers. Guest reviews are mostly positive! 👍 We recommend booking in advance.

A great hostel/hotel ar reasonable prices. Inside yard and some basic facilitites. Hot shower and common clean bathroom. For the price and cleanliness there are only a few options in Bishkek.

The hotel is new, the rooms are cozy, with air conditioning and a TV, but the shower is shared between floors (three rooms per floor). The courtyard is large, with enough room to park a car. I'd call it a cozy motel, almost in the city center! The downside is there's no sign from the street; we spent half an hour looking for the entrance...

Rooms are quite clean, but balcony was dirty. The wifi didn't work very well (occasionally the signal was too weak). The receptionist didn't speak a word of English. Not a bad hotel for one night downtown, but I found it to be overpriced for what you get.

The rooms are ok , washroom was not bad but could improve. Ok for the price. A bit hard to find the hotel they are on the seventh floor of the building and lifts are outdated. Staffs where very friendly

Great stay in Bishkek! Clean and cheap! The room has aircon, own bathroom with hot shower, WiFi and a balcony with a nice view towards the mountains and victory square. The location is great, near the sights and supermarkets and restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there is a bar area with a kitchen where you can have your meals...

Location is great, walking distance from the sites in the center. Very competitive price compared to the market. The room is old but has all one needs, and for the price tag, I have nothing to complain. The view is great, looks amazing during sunset.

I think for the price paid, though the facilities are of course historic and in need of maintenance in some places - such bookings are a novelty given the buildings Soviet history alongside the balcony views of Victory Square. The hotel itself is the tourist attraction and so I will rate it 5* based on the price-value ratio.

Reasonable stay if you have tight budget. One thing that bothers me is breakfast. Hotel don’t provide early morning breakfast and the quality of food is lower than expected. I may not recommend this hotel if you can find other if any.

We really loved our stay here but the rooms did not have Wifi. So if we didn't buy sim card, we would end up cut from the entire world. It's a typical post Soviet place. There's a hotel inside the place and there is a cafe called Cafe de Gusto. Card is accepted there and they have good Shisha, shashlik and wine.

A fantastic experience, after dusty roads! Service is excelent, the stuff is supportive. Breakfast there shall be an example to many many hotels in the region. Another advantage is a roofed area where you can sit and relax in the evening with friends, and a 50m distance to a supermarket is a true advantage when you need a cold beer for a warm evening...

We stayed at a hotel on a business trip. We booked a double room. It was clean, cozy, and quiet. We ordered breakfast in the morning – it was delicious: jam, candy, cookies, and scrambled eggs. The place is worth checking out. Good luck!

This is my second stay here. This time on the ground floor. The hotel itself seems fine, with relatively spacious rooms, unlike other guesthouses. The price is reasonable. Each room has a shower and toilet, which is very convenient. The rooms are cool, both on the first and second floors. I even had to put on clothes at night. I was there for three nights, and on the first day, some strange people...

A very nice place. Welcoming, benevolent and intelligent hosts. We are always ready to help. The prices are very, very reasonable. With a large number of guest houses nearby, it is Ak-Shoola that is in demand. Rooms for 2 and 3 persons, there is a kitchen for cooking, appropriate utensils. It is 10-15 minutes to the lake, there are many cafes, exchange offices, shops along the way. There are rides...

Don’t use Booking app. They will ask you to cancel. Or they will cancel you. There is bad wifi. But very cheap clean toilet. Oh don’t forget to buy a toilet paper!

Very good stay in Bishkek centre, the team who helped us are very friendly and helped with everything. Location is central, we had a nice terrace in front of our room with lovely view of Bishkek! Breakfast was very good as well.

Make sure you have a window before you confirm the room as some rooms have no windows. The terrace is an awesome place to just sit and have drinks. There is an option of only beer, though. So buy your own drinks if you are staying there. Get your own snacks as no food is served. Breakfast is lousy. The room is clean, the bathroom is excellent, and it is valuable for money. Impossible to get in without a key. We called the hotel before coming as requested. When we got there, we couldn't access the hotel, as you can't go up with the lift without a key. We called the reception again but they didn't answer. We waited for over 40 minutes until the receptionist finally came down to let us in. It was shocking that she didnt even apologise, just said the phone wasnt working...

I’ve spent almost 3 weeks in this hotel. Absolutely amazing experience, staff was very attentive and responsive, always been eager to go extra step. Rooms are quite spacious, awesome terrace view, decent brekky. I even was offered spicy ramen on the hangover morning. Definitely the place to come back if visiting Bishkek.
