Initially a little tricky to find, but our perseverance payed off. Ordered a gimlet and it was delicious! The bartender, Alexander, was helpful and personable. The atmosphere was comfortable and well designed. Will definitely come back tomorrow!

Great bar with very friendly owners and a lovely atmosphere. The cocktails are delicious! We enjoyed a live music performance which was very nice.

Summer bar, organized in the garden area with a bonfire zone, everything for your comfort :) Unlike other bars in Karakol, here you can also order food, not just drinks. The founders of the bar organize themed evenings with music or movies. The main downside is that it can be difficult to find, so you can ask for help at Madanur's reception or at Sierra cafe.

A new summer place with good coctails beer and wine card. A bit hard to find, you need to go through MADANUR hotel reception, but guys inside helped us. Loved the fire pit and music. Wish the team all good luck

Unexpectedly exquisite. For the price, the overall value is exceptional. From the outside it looks like a regular semi-industrial building, however, once inside, there is a bar, a large kitchen/common area and ample space for cars and tents. You can in-fact stay in a tent for 200som per night or there are private rooms, a very cosy upstairs dormitory or the indoor tent space. They also rent hiking...

Great hostel. Stayed in this hostel and was very pleased. Cleanliness - both in the rooms and in the common areas. Convenient and spacious kitchen. The staff is responsive and always ready to help. I especially liked that they can advise on trekking and hiking routes in the mountains.

Lola and Ilbirs are the sweetest people. Amazing food, clean bathroom and bedroom and they took care of our sick friend when we were away. Best guesthouse in town!!!

A very cosy vibe in a central location. 2 minutes walk from Sierra Coffee & numerous convenience stores, as-well-as two fuel stations (for those driving). The Zoo (the only Zoo in Kyrgyzstan) is also a 5 minute walk from the guest house. The rooms are light, airey, spacious & clean, as is the bathroom and overall facilities. There is a sunny courtyard and secure parking, as-well-as various amenities...

Nice place to stay (pun intended). Hosts are awesome and warm. Helpful with everything. Clean. Kitchen was big with 2 cooking areas and 2 fridges. We left our extra luggage there for our hikes and the host has a seperate locked storage room. Everything was awesome!

I had one of the best experiences possible at this hostel. Jannil and her husband are so attentive. They work hard but always take the time to look after guests and answer their questions. What's more, they know a great deal about the region. The rooms are very comfortable and you have all the privacy you need. I can't recommend it highly enough!

A cozy and accessible hostel for travelers, with shared rooms and a private room. A well-equipped shared kitchen where you can cook. Shared showers and toilets are clean, spacious and well-maintained. Laundry services and a hostel owner who speaks excellent English and patiently advises everyone.

Its the perfect place to stay in Karakol. The host Janyl is amazing, very friendly and helpful and she has all the knowledge to help you plan your hikes. The hostel is clean, a great size, good location, has a nice garden and kitchen, and there is a friendly environment amongst travellers. Our fave hostel in Kyrgyzstan.

It was the best hostel I stayed in during my month long trip to Kyrgyzstan. The dormitory was clean , airy and spacious with good bathroom and hot showers. It has a nice big backyard as well. Just a 15 minute walk from the centre.

We slept at nice hotel in September for a few nights the place is very comfortable and offers beds in a dorms as well as yurt and place for a tent the staff here is very helpful and nice, very cheap place that includes a kitchen in the price very recommended

Really enjoyed KBH. A great place to base yourself for hiking in the area and meet other backpackers doing the same. It’s very central so close to restaurants, shops and gear rental places. They had a good kitchen + helpful information leaflets for popular trips Sometimes a little disorganised, meaning people stayed on sofas or camped in the garden outside; or that you’d be waiting around for information...

I had such a wonderful stay! I met the kind lady who ran the hostel and decided to move to this one and it was the best decision. Definitely one of the best hostels I've ever been! Everything works well here, the staff is awesome, really helpful and friendly, the building is new and everything is really clean, plenty of wc and showers, a big kitchen with a lot of place to sit and to relax, and a really peaceful and nice backyard, and all of these, for a really good price! I would definitely comeback! :)

Perfect place to stay if you want to meet people to go on trips with/gather information/book trips/etc. Lovely cafe attached which makes meals super easy. Only negative was that our water never got properly hot for a shower.

We stayed at Duet before and after doing the Ala Kul 3 days hike. Private room are well decorated and spacious, the restaurant and bar menu have plenty of choices and the coffee is great! The staff is really nice and can help you book yurts and guest houses for your hikes. They also have a lovely gift shop.

Lovely hostel for backpackers. The dorm beds are quite comfortable. Toilets and shower rooms are regularly cleaned. They have a restaurant which serves quite good food. The owners are lovely too.

Loved my time here! Room was clean and cleaned quite often during midday. Bed was comfortable. They have a restaurant too so that helps although food quality can be improved for the price. Quite a social-able hostel considering the big lounge and kitchen area. Can book horse riding here but do note is about 2k more expensive vs booking directly with operator. Service was helpful though.

Duet Hostel and Hotel is a good spot to meet other travelers and hikers. The dorm room is a big with no windows. Can get a bit cluttered with everyone's backpacks and gear. Thankfully there are privacy curtains. Some outdoor space though felt odd to be there since it’s also a café. The dorm area has a couch outside the room. And a good kitchen. Only food option is cafe. The is a 15+ minute walk...

Excellent service, great facilities, and reasonable prices. I felt like home during my whole stay. I stayed there for two weeks by myself and I honestly didn't wanna go away from there! The place is also beautiful and have a lot of space for children to play and run around. They have also every Sunday a cultural performance to get to know about Kyrgyz culture.

Great location! Everything you need is nearby. The owner is really friendly and offers laundry.. The house and the room is very clean. There are enough plugs to charge your stuff. The bed is comfy, the showers are hot and have good water pressure. Our room had a balcony with nice mountain views. There is a secure parking area. And there are tranquil and relaxing areas inside (with 2 sofas) and outside...

I was very happy at this place. After staying at a lot of really lousy guests houses, this one with clean bathrooms, showers, and rooms exactly as advertised was very comfortable and an oasis.

Best guesthouse we stayed in Kyrgystan!!! Very, very helpful owner, really nice person. Very clean rooms, fast free wi-fi. Even if was double price would be the best... Best plumbs in their garden 😀
