⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 — Comfortable Stay with Some Notable Compromises Karagat is a pleasant hotel choice if you don’t mind compromising on a few important aspects. To begin with the positives, the rooms are impressively spacious—easily the largest we stayed in throughout our entire trip across Kyrgyzstan. The cupboards are generous in size, providing ample space for clothing and belongings, and the room comfortably...
I stayed at Karagat Hotel in Karakol for a short visit, and overall, it was an average experience — not bad, but not great either. The hotel itself looks nice and modern from the outside, and the location is convenient, close to the main areas of Karakol. The beds were comfortable, but they made loud creaking noises every time you moved, which became annoying at night. The electrical points near the...
Large and spacious rooms but outdated furniture , no AC in the room Toilet need to be redesigned nice breakfast Big lobby Quick check in Nice option in Karakol
I was part of a small group. My room was OK for size but had no AC. Instead, there was a poor evaporative cooler that didn't make much difference. In the end, I turned it off and opened the window. The electris sockets were in odd places. I had to put the kettle on the floor to use it. The wifi was very slow. When I tried to close the blackout curtains, I discovered that they would only half close...
Very poor AC Far from any restaurants Poor bed The restaurant in the hotel wasn’t open untill after eight o’clock Poor wifi in the room
The rooms are nice and big with a sofa for a sitting place. The bathrooms are good and have a different shower area. Their services was which if anything was asked for. The provide 2 bottles of water free in the room. The breakfast is okay but have a spacious sitting area. The internet is poor and you cannot depend on it. There is a shop near buy to buy snacks and other essentials.

Very nice and helpful staff that helped us get an unforgettable horse riding tour! Recommend! Very tasty dinner at the Restaurant.
Hotel is very good but not happy with services. If you have baggage then there is no lift and no staff assistance. You have to carry your own bags from stairs. Also in room no complementary water, katte, tea, coffee, sugar. Also there are no shops nearby so either you buy everything from hotel or for water go to the restaurant everything. In my lifetime this is the first time I experience...
My hotel karakol is one of the best options for accommodation in the city of Karakol. The interior is modern, the breakfasts are good, the reception is very friendly, it takes only 10-15 minutes to get to the Karakol ski resort. I recommend it to everyone who wants to visit the resort, go skiing and relax. But you need to order a transfer to the resort, the hotel does not have its own free transfer...

The resort's location is in the heart of nature, and the villas and walkways are beautiful from the outside. However, the service is poor, the resort is overpriced, and it's far from amenities. There aren't any shops selling food or drinks inside or near the resort! The villa handover was delayed. I think if there were more services and improvements to the resort, it would be absolutely wonderful,...
When I saw some of the bad reviews I was skeptical about this place, but when we checked in I was pleasantly surprised to see very friendly staff, the house that was extremely clean, warm, specious, comfy beds, and very clean kitchen. But most importantly the views from the panoramic deck ware breathtaking. We had a great time and we will definitely recommend this place to everyone.
Everything is fine, the houses are warm and very beautiful. The base is nearby, you can even walk. Of the minuses, it’s crazy audibility in the houses and I VERY DID NOT LIKE that in order to fry your meat on your own coals, you have to pay 3000 soms, well, a very crazy price !!
Wow, drop dead cool place, the houses smell like wood. There are comfortable rooms inside, there is a wooden sports ground (barbells, dumbbells), good photos can be taken on the territory. In the summer part of the house was 150 dollars, for 5, ok, in winter they say it costs 500. There is access to the mountains, and a wonderful view. In general, it's great here!☝️😋🙏
Chalets are nice but only one shower for 8
Very nice place. In restaurant, some plates ok, other not so special. But very clean and service with the smile

What a lovely find! Erkin and his family truly made us feel like home. Had an amazing night's sleep followed by a perfect breakfast with eggs, fresh bread and fruits, veggies and local jams and honey! The rooms and bathrooms are sparkling clean and comfy. Will be back for sure!
Everything about this guesthouse was just perfect! The whole house was like a villa! The rooms were super clean, very new furniture, beautiful design and we slept like babies in the soft beds. The breakfast was really nice and filling with eggs, fruit and bread and the best part about our stay was the kindness of the family! They helped wherever they could and it was a pleasure to talk to them and...
诚挚地推荐给所有来玩的人,主人非常和善、真诚,房间干净宽敞。 Erkin Guest House is the best hotel we stayed in in Kyrgyzstan. The family is so kind, patient, sweet and helpful. Their smile made us feel so warm and touched. They’re so pure and so hospitable. The room is so clean and spacious. The owner makes everything clean and tidy. They serve good breakfast and give you useful information. In the guest house they create a lovely...
I had stayed for two nights here. Erkin's villa is very clean and comfortable. You can walk to the downtown of Karakol easily. Having conversatioons with his daughters have made you more understanding about Kyrgys. They are so helpful.
This is where we spent our last night in Karakol. It was a shame that I only stayed for one night. The facilities were clean and good value for money, but most of all, the families here were very friendly and warm. After checking out, I had to take a Gobus to Bishkek at 11pm, and they not only stored my luggage until then, but also allowed me to use a rest area and a bathroom on the first floor. In...

The hotel is super new, the rooms are great and comfortable. Staff is super friendly. They also offer Laundry service. There is nothing much around the hotel but there is a supermarket within a 10 minute walk. Breakfast is a bit miniminal. We also had to pay extra for coffee with breakfast. The coffee was pretty good though so it was worth it.
Fabulous modern hotel with comfortable beds, interesting decor, fri ndly and helpful staff. Very good value for money and well place for Karakol, Jetil Oguz, and the south side of Issyk Kul. Coffee shop on site too. Everything felt new.

I stayed at the hotel and I liked the service, food, atmosphere and everything. I enjoyed my stay. Specifically breakfast is yummy and so many options. Thank you so much
A very nice and welcoming place. The owner greeted us and guided us through a unique experience preparing Dungan cuisine Laghman and traditional bread during two cooking classes that got everyone involved. We then enjoyed a typical Dungan dinner, with the chance to learn more about Dungan culture.
The hotel is good. Room is clean. I think the staff tried their best to improve the quality. Location is a bit far away from city center, but given that karakol is a small city, it is acceptable. What is not acceptable is that the wifi didnt work on the day I arrived (I was on roaming). There was no notifications in advance even if they knew it before I checked in. The hotel is nice and neat, and the homemade breakfast is great.
A well maintained cozy bed and breakfast. Would totally recommend this place to all just for the fantastic service that Mr. Ahmet provides. He is genuinely a very helpful person, ready to assist his guests in anyway possible. We has a superb session in the Russian sauna on the property, it was extremely soothing for sore muscles. Book your stay at Hillside without any second thoughts.
We loved our stay at Hillside Karakol B&B! The rooms are very nice, spacious, comfortable and clean! Ahmet and his wife are incredibly kind, helpful and wonderful people ❤️😊! Ahmet went above and beyond to help us! We will be back to visit again soon 😊!
The very hospitable hostess Elvira showed us everything, told us everything, advised where we could have a tasty meal. You can sit on the terrace and drink some tea with honey and jam. The rooms are quite small, but clean, and are quite enough to stay for one night. Each room has its own boiler. Like the family house I went to with the tour, it is a very comfortable and clean place, definitely number one on the list of choices, it has a garden, the kitchen and its materials are sufficient, if you want to feel comfortable, you should definitely choose this place.
A lovely hotel in Karakol, where I've been taking my group every year for about five years. A lovely host who makes you feel right at home. We were delighted with the breakfast, the small but spotlessly clean rooms, and the garden. I highly recommend it.

Excellent place! Staff, breakfast and atmosphere gets 10 out of 10. It’s a three-star hotel, but as those go, it’s perfect.
Lovely family-run hotel with a super helpful reception. The laundry service was fast (which was great after days of trekking!), and the breakfast was amazing—one of the best we had. You’re asked to take off your shoes at the entrance, which makes sense since many guests come from the hiking. The whole place was very clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend for a comfortable stay in Karakol!
Loved our stay here. The staff are extremely accommodating, the rooms are clean, nice bathroom with consistent hot water for shower. It was very peaceful and they also provide nice breakfast. Stayed here for 2 nights, then we went to Jyrgalan valley for 1 night, and came back here again for another night. The location is also great, not too far from the good restaurants and Issyk Kul ski resort. ...
The hospitality of the receptionist is made my day, breakfast was awesome so I decide to give 5 star. A little improvement needed like providing some kettle in rooms with water, but I know if I ask they will bring it for sure. My room is so warm coz they provide super big heater. Coz I came during winter time.
We stayed at this amazing hotel for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Staff/owners are very friendly and helped us a lot with any information we asked. Breakfast was delicious and very diverse, has everything you ask. Hotel has good vibes and very cozy. Beds were very comfortable and linen was crispy fresh and clean.
It is a place not far from the center of Karakol. It takes 10 minutes to walk to Globus Mart, and there is a currency exchange office near the mart. The Green Yard Hotel is more of a guest house, the staff are very friendly and their rooms clean and comfortable. They have a ski room (we weren’t skiing). This was a beautiful, comfortable room. The staff were kind. The breakfast delicious. The huge photos on the walls of the nearby area were stunning. Afterwards the woman at reception made us some tea and served us some...
Green Yard was a comfortable and homely guest house / hotel located on the outskirts of Karakol. We arrived in the middle of bad snowy weather but had to stand in the cold outside to be issued our room keys which took a while as there was 23 of us. Lovely guest house/hotel, great breakfast, comfy rooms, and very quiet location. Highly recommended!
This proved to be one of the best hotels on our tour of the 5 Stans. It looks nothing special from the front, but the Japanese style rooms are comfortable and clean and allowed us a good night's sleep. Breakfast was good featuring a good selection and plenty to eat.
Green Yard is known for the best spread of breakfast in Karakol. Central hotel. Super welcoming comfortable rooms with plenty of hot water. The staff were brilliant after another hotel let us down on our booking and reception at Nomad were so helpful settling us in for the night. Breakfast was great for the price with porridge, eggs and sausage, pastries and toast. Juices and tea and coffee too. Price was very reasonable overall - we would stay again -
We stayed here for 2 night during our 15day trip trough Kirgistan. I had a room in the mainbuilding with the reception. Room was of a very good size as was my bathroom. All things basic but good and clean. Breakfast was very good I think. Enough to choose from. Location I found good to see and explore the city and sights of Karakol and also nice views of surrounding mountains.

We stopped here as a last minute change of plans on our way around Issyk-Kul. Room was lovely, toilets and bathrooms were good. Staff didn't speak English but we muddled through. Was about £30 for the night. Nice coffee shop around the corner too.
Good hotel, delicious individual breakfast, which is very important in Karakol, as there are many places with a buffet. All is well except * it was cold in the room, either the heating or the warm floor was turned off * the toilet is simply "glued" to the sink and it's terribly inconvenient to wash your hands, to use the toilet * they ask you to immediately pay for the stay and take your passport away...
