Where to stay in Karakol

Everything is fine, the houses are warm and very beautiful. The base is nearby, you can even walk. Of the minuses, it’s crazy audibility in the houses and I VERY DID NOT LIKE that in order to fry your meat on your own coals, you have to pay 3000 soms, well, a very crazy price !!

Wow, drop dead cool place, the houses smell like wood. There are comfortable rooms inside, there is a wooden sports ground (barbells, dumbbells), good photos can be taken on the territory. In the summer part of the house was 150 dollars, for 5, ok, in winter they say it costs 500. There is access to the mountains, and a wonderful view. In general, it's great here!☝️😋🙏

Chalets are nice but only one shower for 8

New hotel and building.. . Sweet... Service people very kind.. Little slow but OK... No TV in room.. Bed good.. Not perfectly clean, but compering clearness in town it is quite good..

This hotel is very new, and may have not yet worked out its kinks. It aims to be the style of a Japanese business hotel, but leaves a bit to the imagination. Particularly the service is not up to par, breakfast left a lot to be desired and wasn’t clear where to get clean bowls and plates. Also the room needs a humidifier , my bed and comforter had so much static electricity that it lit up sparks everywhere...

Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms with heating and toilet. No elevator, you have to carry your bags on stairs. Good Internet free WiFi. Food is good.

New hotel with very clean rooms and friendly receptionists

We stayed at this amazing hotel for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Staff/owners are very friendly and helped us a lot with any information we asked. Breakfast was delicious and very diverse, has everything you ask. Hotel has good vibes and very cozy. Beds were very comfortable and linen was crispy fresh and clean. Special thanks to the charming lady on the reception, she made our stay very lovely...

Most lovely staff you can imagine! Would definitely come back! The rooms are big and clean.

The breakfast was delicious, a buffet breakfast with many options to choose from. I liked the bakery, especially the berry pie. Our room was warm and the personnel was very attentive by offering a warmer duvet in case it was cold. The location is just 30 mins drive to Karakol Ski resort, which is very convenient if you'd like to stay a bit far from the crowd and save some money.

In October for four days 3750 som double room. Everything is great. Only the sink is clogged and the toilet is leaking) but they will fix it, the staff is very polite. The room is clean.

We stopped here as a last minute change of plans on our way around Issyk-Kul. Room was lovely, toilets and bathrooms were good. Staff didn't speak English but we muddled through. Was about £30 for the night. Nice coffee shop around the corner too.

Good hotel, delicious individual breakfast, which is very important in Karakol, as there are many places with a buffet. All is well except * it was cold in the room, either the heating or the warm floor was turned off * the toilet is simply "glued" to the sink and it's terribly inconvenient to wash your hands, to use the toilet * they ask you to immediately pay for the stay and take your passport away...

Everyone must go to Kyrgyzstan Karakol. What a beautiful place on the other corner of the world. However my experience would not have the same with out this great hotel. 1. The service is exceptional, from the owner to the very janitors, people really treat you with their full respect and hospitality. The son of the owner Zakir has been outstanding in proving all the things necessary to make us happy...

We have stayed 4 days in this lovely house with my girlfriend. Katya and her friend were really helpful and they did their best to make us feel home. They provide laundry service as well and in the breakfast they do serve delicious homemade jams as well. Karakol is big and small city. You need to walk everywhere or take a taxi to any place for 90soms. As long as you are taking taxi, go and stay with...

We stayed here two nights in August. The host is super friendly and helpful and the rooms are beautiful and clean. The friendly dog walking around the nice garden is a bonus! Great place to start/end your hikes around Karakol!

Katusha, the host, is an excellent manager. The guesthouse has an authentic touch, yet very modern and comfortable. There is a washing machine, which is a great bonus for trekkers. Breakfast was superb. The best one in Kyrgyzstan so far. The guesthouse has a nice garden and you can eat apples and apricots right from the tree. They offer vegetarian options for breakfast as well, which is not always...

A well maintained cozy bed and breakfast. Would totally recommend this place to all just for the fantastic service that Mr. Ahmet provides. He is genuinely a very helpful person, ready to assist his guests in anyway possible.We has a superb session in the Russian sauna on the property, it was extremely soothing for sore muscles. Book your stay at Hillside without any second thoughts.

Great accommodation. Clean, well kept, good breakfast. Also friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good recommendations for dinner and for activities. Also for further plans in Kirgisistan. Highly recommended, the WiFi works, and the entertainment system is up to date. If you plan a visit to Karakol (and you should) this is the place to stay.

Ahmet and his wife were so welcoming and helpful - really made us feel at home and provided great recommendations for local restaurants. We lived in Hillside Karakol during our winter holidays. The building and rooms were very warm and clean. Cosy place with soft beds and excellent linen. Delicious and rich breakfast. Responsive owners and enjoyable atmosphere Will definitely be back.

The best place to stay in Karakol. We stayed there for 5 nights and we discovered from there all the region hiking every day in different valley (Ak-Suu, Jeti Oguz, Jyrgalan, Altyn Arash) . Ahmet, the owner, is the kindest, most welcoming and helpful person we could find. He advised us on wonderful walks but above all he helped us in an indispensable way with the local police.
