The rooms in this resort are so warm and cozy. It is a good place to rest with nature. The beds in the room are so comfortable.

Love Matsunoki for the great breakfast, quiet rooms and hospitable staff. The location of the guest house is another great thing. There is a park, central square, local sites and restaurants. Attention to the detail is tuned to the maximum which one can see from the recycling boxes, different types of tea in the hall available 24 hours, carefully folded towels and etc.

Spent a week in Kyrgyzstan & this was our best accommodation by far. Friendly & helpful host. Immaculately clean, airy & well equipped. Also laundry available which was a bonus. Best breakfast including lots of fresh fruit & pancakes. Very central.

Very clean and welcoming. We tried a couple of rooms and both were immaculately kept. It's a family-run establishment where the mother prepares excellent breakfasts and dinners. We had a wonderful time. They treated us wonderfully. If we were to come back, this would be our first choice.

Sergei is the best host! He took really good care of us before and after the hike to Ala Kul. The breakfast is amazing and Bella is a super cute dog.

We stayed here in July. Best accomodation we had in Kyrgyzstan. Hosts are very hospitable, especially if you understand little bit of Russian/other slavic languages. The only downside are the beds, which are little bit less comfortable. The dog Bela is very friendly.

Fantastic guest house. Sergei and his wife are excellent hosts - and Bella the dog was a delight. Rooms were clean and very cosy, the en-suite bathrooms are also a big plus. I highly recommend staying here if you are in Karakol.

There were five of us here, a group of friends; there were no other guests. The hosts were very welcoming, always willing to accommodate your every request. It was clean, warm (we were there in winter), and spacious.

For Karakol's circumstances the rooms and bathrooms are outstanding! I would always prefer guest houses compared to e.g. hostels because you get to know people from around (not from abroad). The big room is great. It has got a balcony facing north so this is great in summer for example, because you don't get the midday sun straight in your room.

Good day everyone! I was on an infrared summer vacation and stayed at this hotel with my family. We really enjoyed it :) The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, the rooms were clean, and the prices were affordable. I think we'll be back at the Tumar Hotel next year.

Such a nice place and a wonderful hostess!! She is really kind and speaks good English. She knows a lot about the area and Kirgizstan and can help you very good. There is also a nice kitchen/dinner area so you can cook your own meals, that is very nice. The bathrooms are very good and the showers too. He also helped us to arrange the transport from Karakol city center and also horses to get us to the base of Ala Kul pass so that we would be able to get there and back within the day. A wonderful experience spending the night in a yurt. Beautiful untouched nature. I appreciate the opportunity to communicate with the staff in English, which is not a given in this region. The hygiene in the yurt could definitely be improved – when I wanted to go to the toilet/shower, I had to walk across the yard, where there was horse shit. Thank you for arranging the horse riding.

A wonderful glamping experience! Was certainly the best accommodation during our one week tour. The yurt room is tastefully furnished and many amenities provided. Location is quiet and peaceful and a lovely place for walks. Meals were provided which were pretty good with adequate choices. Would strongly recommend this place!

I was lucky as I could book this hotel at a good rate. The room (yurt) was fantastic. Most of staff here couldn't speak English. So, I feel a little bit ignored. But if you speak their language, this hotel will be a good choice.

Despite a bit of trouble finding the place on our own (google marker was in wrong place but i've now submitted correction), we got there at midnight, and the host still welcomed us in. Simple, but wonderful, and to wake up in a setting next to a roaring river and surrounded by trees, stunning. 4x4 required to get there, and Russian speaking only.

This was my first yurt experience in my life, and it couldn’t have been a better one. Close to snacks, atm, and lovely help by the kind man working at the camp. Highly recommended.
