one can see all the plumbing hanging from the walls, a stuck toilet flush that I had to repair myself, a bathtub that is not well fixed to the ground, being a bit unstable, etc

The hotel itself looks nice and modern from the outside, and the location is convenient, close to the main areas of Karakol

The electrical points near the bed didn’t work, so I couldn’t charge my phone or other devices conveniently. I informed the staff about this issue on the first day, but nothing was fixed during my entire stay

The interior is modern, the breakfasts are good, the reception is very friendly, it takes only 10-15 minutes to get to the Karakol ski resort. I recommend it to everyone who wants to visit the resort, go skiing and relax

But you need to order a transfer to the resort, the hotel does not have its own free transfer. And we were lucky to get a transfer service to the resort from the Imanaliev brothers Nursultan and Anvar

In my lifetime this is the first time I experience this. I stayed in My Hotel in Bishkek and the experience was totally different. There they provide everything in room ad well market is nearby

Also in room no complementary water, katte, tea, coffee, sugar. Also there are no shops nearby so either you buy everything from hotel or for water go to the restaurant everything

The service is top notch, they will deliver you quickly and efficiently to the resort, and if you need to drop off equipment in the city, they will take you there without any problems

Hotel is very good but not happy with services. If you have baggage then there is no lift and no staff assistance. You have to carry your own bags from stairs

Beautiful property at a beautiful location, just down the mountains and pine trees. The route is off-road, and you would need a 4x4 esp if there was rain prior to ur trip. The rooms are decent, but very small

And there are two fantastic dogs! Absolutely recommended ❤️

There is a stream next to the property and you can take a stroll around it to explore serene places and for activities too. Our purpose was to just relax at a cosy, serene place and this was perfect for it

We had a great stay at Zhyluu Suu Resort. We were warmly received and could stay in the A-Frame. The best bed and shower we have had so far in Kyrgyzstan. We enjoyed the food and the quiet surroundings

The host is super cooperative and very kind. Horseback trip to waterfall - mesmerizing. Food served in this place is various and delicious! House jn which we’ve stayed - clean and cozy

The rooms in this resort are so warm and cozy. It is a good place to rest with nature. The beds in the room are so comfortable.

It is also what the hotel has come to be renowned for. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and the lawns are full of fruit-bearing trees and flowering shrubs

The Green Yard Hotel is more of a guest house, the staff are very friendly and their rooms clean and comfortable. They have a ski room (we weren’t skiing)

This was a beautiful, comfortable room. The huge photos on the walls of the nearby area were stunning. Best of all, after being on tour for over a week on some bumpy roads, were the massages they organised

The rooms and bathrooms are clean and the lawns are full of fruit-bearing trees and flowering shrubs. The owner comes to each table every morning and makes sure the guests are well looked after

The breakfast was absolutely delicious and after going out for a meal in the evening we were able to party on in one of their communal rooms with our own alcohol

A light breakfast (with egg choice!) was also provided. Hotel was also right opposite one of the best cafes in Karakol, Lighthouse Karakol, and within walking distance to almost anywhere you’d want to go

A great hotel for exploring Karakol. Very clean rooms. Bathroom and shower were fantastic. Had in house laundry service which was excellent. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was wonderful.

Rooms were fitted with AC, and there was a water dispenser in the hotel as well. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and really nice and friendly staff who were always so welcoming and smiley

I stayed before and after my trek and both times my room was perfect. I stayed on the second floor, overlooking a flower nursery and with the mountains in the distance

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night on my journey thru Kyrgyzstan. From the outside it didnt leave much to the imagination bit inside its quite modern. I was on the same floor as reception. Its was fairly quiet despite this

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The best bit was the shower very big with a powerful shower. Hot water however was limited. There is a supermarket next door and a few restaurants closeby

The breakfast was in the basement and there was a lot of variety. However most stuff was not covered and there were flies. There was a coffee machine which wasn't bad

We stayed here as part of a G Adventure tour. Nice rooms with comfortable beds and great shower. It’s walking distance to several restaurants.

No need for an alarm as the call for pray will be heard around 530am. All in all I would stay here again

Andre was super friendly & knowledgeable providing great advice and going above and beyond helping us with arranging transport etc. The delicious breakfast was a bonus on top which we would look forward to each day

I enjoyed another welcome stay at the Riverside. Excellent location and facilities, great big rooms, comfortable beds and big showers. Filling big breakfasts and a wonderful helpful host

During our group stay, they invited a group of musicians to perform for us with native music instruments, it was such a charming evening. Our room was a little warm, thank goodness at night it cool off so we can sleep

The home cooking meals were tasty and seem authentic ( I would never know🤣). The hosts were very friendly and nice and we get to meet their kids too. They also have a nice garden with fresh and eatable fruits

Let me start with this, on my second day of my trip, on the way to karakol i got into an accident in the minibus, which caused 5 deaths I was in a terrible mental state and somehow reached karakol after a little hitchhiking with a local I had booked my stay at this guest house and as I entered, the owner, katsya saw me and saw the state I was in, first question she asked was what happened? I can’t...

Just a really cozy, thoughtful place with great vibes all around. And if you like cats then you are for a treat. They are super friendly and wonderful around kids

It was a treat to eat three different home-made jams with Russian pancakes. Plus, I was also able to do my laundry for free, which was such a nice surprise and super helpful after being on the road for a while

There are no towels, shampoo, or toiletries. You have to ask for disposable slippers. The room is clean, the bed linens, and the mattress are excellent. The TV, kettle, and Wi-Fi are all good

The doctors are more attentive than the reception staff, they are very rude and cannot provide polite information.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, they lacked amenities like shampoo and towels.

The girl at the reception desk is unprofessional. Very rude. Otherwise, it's okay.

So many lovely things about this hotel, location is superb, the front of house presentation on arrival is grand and there is a beautiful indoor garden, the staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly, professional, helpful, multilingual, the rooms are well equipped, comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains

Hot showers and huge breakfasts with lots of variety. They make a real effort to please, asking our group what we wanted on subsequent days. The pasty things are excellent cold at lunch time and the jams are exceptional

I am vegan and they made special meals for me which was amazing. Also very large and comfortable rooms. The quality of the hotel is of a very high standard which is rare for being so far from Bishkek

I really liked the location: on a quiet street, but within walking distance of the Globus supermarket, Pizza Empire, other cafes, and a dozen equipment rental shops. The minibus stop to the bus station is also nearby

Fruit, tea/coffee, and freshly baked biscuits, cheese, vegetables, fresh bread, jam, and honey were always on the table. I don't eat porridge with milk, and I don't like cabbage or carrots, but I never went hungry

A great option for those who just need a place to sleep and have breakfast. I stayed in a four-bed room (alone). The shower and toilet were shared, but literally three steps away

There was never a line, and it felt like I was the only one using them. The room had beds, a hanger, and two stools. It lacked a closet, shelves, or even a table

We stayed here 1 night before heading to Altyn Arashan and stayed another 1 night when came back from Altyn Arashan. All room is at second floor and we take off our shoes before going to the room

There is sofa area outside the rooms for relaxing. Also has ironing area outside the rooms. We had our breakfast in the hotel and food is good. The owner of the hotel is so friendly and generous

I like the internal lounge area on the 2nd floor. It's at the centre, surrounded by the guest rooms - just like our living room at home - where you can gather and have a chat with your group

Muras Hotel was a great stop over for one night. Very clean rooms and bathroom + a very nice breakfast! The host family were very nice and accommodating.

Best and affordable place and very cheap hotel

It takes 10 min (by marshrutka) to either get to the entrance of the national park or the centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful and will always try to do their best. The rooms are spacious and clean

Some renovation work would be necessary here and there BUT it's great value for the money one pays. I definitely come back when in Kyrgyzstan

If you are looking for a comfortable hotel you might not want to stay here. But if you want to experience sleeping in a hotel that didn’t change since USSR it for you ! The owner is kind and the breakfast was very good.

The hotel is not bad, it is well located in relation to the exit to the ski resort, but the administration's attention to comfort and everyday details is lacking, often the sockets do not work, there is no hot water, or other little things are broken or missing altogether

I think if the hotel owners eliminated these shortcomings, the hotel would have many times more clients, since there are many advantages (location, comfort, price, free parking, etc

I am a regular guest at this hotel. I like the homely atmosphere and service. The staff does their job very well. The rooms are warm, the bed is very soft and clean

All this costs a penny, but spoils the overall impression (despite the fact that, overall, everything was done well). Here, probably, the question is more for management (which is a bit “soviet”)
