Where to stay with pets in Karakol

The interior is modern, the breakfasts are good, the reception is very friendly, it takes only 10-15 minutes to get to the Karakol ski resort. I recommend it to everyone who wants to visit the resort, go skiing and relax

But you need to order a transfer to the resort, the hotel does not have its own free transfer. And we were lucky to get a transfer service to the resort from the Imanaliev brothers Nursultan and Anvar

In my lifetime this is the first time I experience this. I stayed in My Hotel in Bishkek and the experience was totally different. There they provide everything in room ad well market is nearby

Also in room no complementary water, katte, tea, coffee, sugar. Also there are no shops nearby so either you buy everything from hotel or for water go to the restaurant everything

The service is top notch, they will deliver you quickly and efficiently to the resort, and if you need to drop off equipment in the city, they will take you there without any problems

Hotel is very good but not happy with services. If you have baggage then there is no lift and no staff assistance. You have to carry your own bags from stairs

However, there are areas where the hotel falls short. The Wi-Fi connectivity is extremely poor; it works only near the entrance door or inside the bathroom, which can be quite inconvenient

The cupboards are generous in size, providing ample space for clothing and belongings, and the room comfortably accommodates multiple pieces of luggage without feeling cramped

one can see all the plumbing hanging from the walls, a stuck toilet flush that I had to repair myself, a bathtub that is not well fixed to the ground, being a bit unstable, etc

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 — Comfortable Stay with Some Notable Compromises Karagat is a pleasant hotel choice if you don’t mind compromising on a few important aspects

The hotel itself looks nice and modern from the outside, and the location is convenient, close to the main areas of Karakol

The electrical points near the bed didn’t work, so I couldn’t charge my phone or other devices conveniently. I informed the staff about this issue on the first day, but nothing was fixed during my entire stay

It is also what the hotel has come to be renowned for. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and the lawns are full of fruit-bearing trees and flowering shrubs

The Green Yard Hotel is more of a guest house, the staff are very friendly and their rooms clean and comfortable. They have a ski room (we weren’t skiing)

This was a beautiful, comfortable room. The huge photos on the walls of the nearby area were stunning. Best of all, after being on tour for over a week on some bumpy roads, were the massages they organised

The rooms and bathrooms are clean and the lawns are full of fruit-bearing trees and flowering shrubs. The owner comes to each table every morning and makes sure the guests are well looked after

The breakfast was absolutely delicious and after going out for a meal in the evening we were able to party on in one of their communal rooms with our own alcohol

Lovely guest house/hotel, great breakfast, comfy rooms, and very quiet location. Highly recommended!

Stayed here for 2 nights, then we went to Jyrgalan valley for 1 night, and came back here again for another night. The location is also great, not too far from the good restaurants and Issyk Kul ski resort

The location is just 30 mins drive to Karakol Ski resort, which is very convenient if you'd like to stay a bit far from the crowd and save some money

Lovely family-run hotel with a super helpful reception. The laundry service was fast (which was great after days of trekking!), and the breakfast was amazing—one of the best we had

You’re asked to take off your shoes at the entrance, which makes sense since many guests come from the hiking. The whole place was very clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend for a comfortable stay in Karakol!

A little improvement needed like providing some kettle in rooms with water, but I know if I ask they will bring it for sure. My room is so warm coz they provide super big heater. Coz I came during winter time

The staff are extremely accommodating, the rooms are clean, nice bathroom with consistent hot water for shower. It was very peaceful and they also provide nice breakfast

Great people and a great location close to the ski base.

lovely hotel, clean and with so much plants ❤️

My rest was good until a noisy indian family arrived—the kids ran around the house and climbed on the couch in the public area, while the parents were glued to their phones - volume loud enough for me to hear clearly from my room

Overall, it was a great 2Ns stay with peace, simple breakfast, private bathroom with manageable hot water, and shared kitchen with free coffee and tea, though the electricity can go out sometimes due to weather or other issues

In the evening we could sit in a kind of porch to have a drink before heading to the city for dinner. The guesthouse also offers dinner, but we did not manage to eat there. We explored the city in the evening

The guesthouse is listed as both No. There’s no sign, but just follow Google Maps/yandex and you’ll find it. Booking online might not work – I had to show my member rate to nego a discount

Luckily i was the only guest that time. You may had the same issue if you booked online. Most guests here are from tour agents so you may need to call to confirm availability

The breakfast is served in the living room and the lady of the house really tries to bring each time something special. Pancakes, cake, special bread, yogurt,

Over the last 5 years I've stayed a couple of times here. The hotel is perfectly located for those looking for a quiet place

The flair is incredible if you are looking for soviet nostalgia. Of course you can't expect a Mariott Hotel here but that is not the goal. Come and explore for yourself

Best and affordable place and very cheap hotel

It takes 10 min (by marshrutka) to either get to the entrance of the national park or the centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful and will always try to do their best. The rooms are spacious and clean

Some renovation work would be necessary here and there BUT it's great value for the money one pays. I definitely come back when in Kyrgyzstan

If you are looking for a comfortable hotel you might not want to stay here. But if you want to experience sleeping in a hotel that didn’t change since USSR it for you ! The owner is kind and the breakfast was very good.

We stayed here 1 night before heading to Altyn Arashan and stayed another 1 night when came back from Altyn Arashan. All room is at second floor and we take off our shoes before going to the room

There is sofa area outside the rooms for relaxing. Also has ironing area outside the rooms. We had our breakfast in the hotel and food is good. The owner of the hotel is so friendly and generous

I like the internal lounge area on the 2nd floor. It's at the centre, surrounded by the guest rooms - just like our living room at home - where you can gather and have a chat with your group

Muras Hotel was a great stop over for one night. Very clean rooms and bathroom + a very nice breakfast! The host family were very nice and accommodating.

stayed in there 1 night off-season (last autumn), a very friendly stuff and comfy rooms, were very happy to find this place

The hotel lady keeper is very nice, too. She's trying to help and fulfil the guest's request, as much as possible

I really liked the location: on a quiet street, but within walking distance of the Globus supermarket, Pizza Empire, other cafes, and a dozen equipment rental shops. The minibus stop to the bus station is also nearby

Fruit, tea/coffee, and freshly baked biscuits, cheese, vegetables, fresh bread, jam, and honey were always on the table. I don't eat porridge with milk, and I don't like cabbage or carrots, but I never went hungry

I put my things on the bed next to mine, but if the beds were occupied, it would feel cramped precisely because there was nowhere to put even the most essential items. Breakfast was included in the room rate

Wonderful, family run hotel, within walking distance from the center of Karakol. and (what we especially enjoyed), the host is a superb cook. I can recommend this pleasant and friendly hotel to everyone

A great option for those who just need a place to sleep and have breakfast. I stayed in a four-bed room (alone). The shower and toilet were shared, but literally three steps away

There was never a line, and it felt like I was the only one using them. The room had beds, a hanger, and two stools. It lacked a closet, shelves, or even a table

Let me start with this, on my second day of my trip, on the way to karakol i got into an accident in the minibus, which caused 5 deaths I was in a terrible mental state and somehow reached karakol after a little hitchhiking with a local I had booked my stay at this guest house and as I entered, the owner, katsya saw me and saw the state I was in, first question she asked was what happened? I can’t...

Just a really cozy, thoughtful place with great vibes all around. And if you like cats then you are for a treat. They are super friendly and wonderful around kids

Great guest house! Friendly hosts. Good location. Everything is perfect. Highly recommend this place to everyone 👌

It was a treat to eat three different home-made jams with Russian pancakes. Plus, I was also able to do my laundry for free, which was such a nice surprise and super helpful after being on the road for a while

The host was incredibly kind and welcoming—just one of those people who makes you feel right at home straight away. The free breakfast was amazing, super fresh and filling, and way better than I expected

A very lovely place run by a family, with a nice and well-maintained garden full of fruit. Breakfast is included, featuring jams made from fruits grown in the garden

New hotel and building.. . Sweet... Service people very kind.. Little slow but OK... No TV in room.. Bed good.. Not perfectly clean, but compering clearness in town it is quite good..

New hotel with very clean rooms and friendly receptionists

Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms with heating and toilet. No elevator, you have to carry your bags on stairs. Good Internet free WiFi. Food is good.

Luckily I asked ChatGPT how to solve the problem, and it said it was due to the dry air, and to leave the bathroom door open and run the shower on max at 10min, and also dampen a towel and put that in the bed with you and spray a little water on the sheets and take a hot shower myself, and that solved it, but I’d recommend investing in a humidifier

This hotel is very new, and may have not yet worked out its kinks. It aims to be the style of a Japanese business hotel, but leaves a bit to the imagination

Also the room needs a humidifier , my bed and comforter had so much static electricity that it lit up sparks everywhere when I rubbed it in the dark

A light breakfast (with egg choice!) was also provided. Hotel was also right opposite one of the best cafes in Karakol, Lighthouse Karakol, and within walking distance to almost anywhere you’d want to go

A great hotel for exploring Karakol. Very clean rooms. Bathroom and shower were fantastic. Had in house laundry service which was excellent. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was wonderful.

Rooms were fitted with AC, and there was a water dispenser in the hotel as well. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and really nice and friendly staff who were always so welcoming and smiley

I stayed before and after my trek and both times my room was perfect. I stayed on the second floor, overlooking a flower nursery and with the mountains in the distance

The staff is really friendly, the food really good and I appreciate the hotels efforts to maintain a low carbon footprint

From the moment you check in, you can feel the high level of service: the staff is friendly, polite and always ready to help

There are no towels, shampoo, or toiletries. You have to ask for disposable slippers. The room is clean, the bed linens, and the mattress are excellent. The TV, kettle, and Wi-Fi are all good

The doctors are more attentive than the reception staff, they are very rude and cannot provide polite information.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, they lacked amenities like shampoo and towels.

The girl at the reception desk is unprofessional. Very rude. Otherwise, it's okay.

Overall, I recommend this hotel for the price/quality ratio

So many lovely things about this hotel, location is superb, the front of house presentation on arrival is grand and there is a beautiful indoor garden, the staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly, professional, helpful, multilingual, the rooms are well equipped, comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains

The location of the hotel was also a good as the market is just nearby

Hot showers and huge breakfasts with lots of variety. They make a real effort to please, asking our group what we wanted on subsequent days. The pasty things are excellent cold at lunch time and the jams are exceptional

Very big room tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed and pillows, heater and big bathroom with hot shower all in good working condition. Staff and proprietor polite and helpful. Room is clean and with a balcony

I am vegan and they made special meals for me which was amazing. Also very large and comfortable rooms. The quality of the hotel is of a very high standard which is rare for being so far from Bishkek

With a marvelous view on the mountains. The staff was very helpful and kind. Also the breakfast was very nice with a lot of lokal products. So overall is was a pleasant stay the hotel

Our stay was very pleasant, and the location was quite convenient. However, the elevator is currently unavailable, which may pose a challenge for those with heavy luggage.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night on my journey thru Kyrgyzstan. From the outside it didnt leave much to the imagination bit inside its quite modern. I was on the same floor as reception. Its was fairly quiet despite this

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The best bit was the shower very big with a powerful shower. Hot water however was limited. There is a supermarket next door and a few restaurants closeby

The breakfast was in the basement and there was a lot of variety. However most stuff was not covered and there were flies. There was a coffee machine which wasn't bad

We stayed here as part of a G Adventure tour. Nice rooms with comfortable beds and great shower. It’s walking distance to several restaurants.

No need for an alarm as the call for pray will be heard around 530am. All in all I would stay here again

The location so quiet with good local shops. The views are really stunning and the vistas constantly changing. A great base to sight see around Karakol

Andre was super friendly & knowledgeable providing great advice and going above and beyond helping us with arranging transport etc. The delicious breakfast was a bonus on top which we would look forward to each day

I enjoyed another welcome stay at the Riverside. Excellent location and facilities, great big rooms, comfortable beds and big showers. Filling big breakfasts and a wonderful helpful host

During our group stay, they invited a group of musicians to perform for us with native music instruments, it was such a charming evening. Our room was a little warm, thank goodness at night it cool off so we can sleep

The home cooking meals were tasty and seem authentic ( I would never know🤣). The hosts were very friendly and nice and we get to meet their kids too. They also have a nice garden with fresh and eatable fruits

Excellent guest house: very friendly and welcoming owners, clean rooms and facilities on European standards, good food, nice garden, lots of information regarding hikes and trips into the mountains

Very clean and very friendly owner that looks after you well. Locations is a short walk from the main part of town and very near the Natural History. Parking available with cctv and lockable gate

The owner Eni is incredibly sweet and went out of her way to accommodate us. The bead and breakfast is conveniently located and perfect if you’re planning to go on hikes in the region

Good location. Place is clean. Breakfast was very nice and the lady that own the place is super sweet. I recommend.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay with Eni. We booked the chalet and were so happy with our choice. The chalet is super spacious and cozy and we particularly loved the floor hearing

It was a nice time spent there, the rural area is amazing, reminded me of childhood, and it is so close to the center of the town, easy to have a walk to everything u may need.

Wonderful owners, very helpful giving advice, very clean rooms and bathrooms, tasty breakfasts, really recommend!

Everything is very cozy and clean. The hosts are friendly. They fed us a hearty breakfast and dinner. Conveniently located from the base.

The guesthouse is 5+! The hosts are very kind and welcoming. And the mountain views are simply beyond words!

A nice, cozy guest house. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious.

A very decent atmospheric place.

Friends from Kazakhstan stayed there and were very happy with everything.

The hotel is not bad, it is well located in relation to the exit to the ski resort, but the administration's attention to comfort and everyday details is lacking, often the sockets do not work, there is no hot water, or other little things are broken or missing altogether

I think if the hotel owners eliminated these shortcomings, the hotel would have many times more clients, since there are many advantages (location, comfort, price, free parking, etc

Pros: - A good, solid hotel, located close to the city center; - Low prices; - Simple but satisfying breakfast; - Parking is free; Cons: - Heating

I am a regular guest at this hotel. I like the homely atmosphere and service. The staff does their job very well. The rooms are warm, the bed is very soft and clean

What else do you need for comfort? And I recommend my friends and family to stay at Intura. Thank you for the warm welcome. With respect, Gulsara Moldobaeva

All this costs a penny, but spoils the overall impression (despite the fact that, overall, everything was done well). Here, probably, the question is more for management (which is a bit “soviet”)
