Sunway Pyramid Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

Very convenient place, the shopping mall just next to this hotel.

The room was very comfortable, and you could access Sunway Lagoon directly from downstairs. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the kids really enjoyed it. The only minor drawback was that the room was a bit small, and there wasn't much space for luggage.

I would like to share some feedback regarding my recent stay at your hotel.

I was allocated an interconnecting room, which I was not aware of at the time of check-in. Unfortunately, noise from the adjoining room continued until around 1:00 a.m., making it difficult for me to fall asleep. The noise then started again at approximately 6:00 a.m., further affecting my rest. I would appreciate it if you could kindly advise why an interconnecting room was assigned, especially when the neighboring room was occupied by guests unknown to me.

In addition, I would like to highlight some concerns regarding room hygiene. I noticed hair in several areas of the room, and there were also blood stains on the pillowcase, which was quite concerning.
I hope this feedback can be taken constructively, as I believe it will help improve the comfort and experience of future guests. I look forward to your kind attention to these matters.

Sunway Pyramid Hotel is in an outstanding location, directly connected to Sunway Pyramid Mall, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. It truly feels like a self-contained destination.

The room was well appointed and comfortable. I stayed in an Executive City View room. I initially tried to book a studio room, but I booked late and it wasn’t confirmed, so I went with this option instead and was still very happy. The air conditioning works very well, which is important in Malaysia, and the bathroom and toilet were clean and well maintained. Shampoo and conditioner combo is provided, the only small thing I wished for was a disposable shaver.
There are plenty of power outlets near the bedside, including USB charging ports, which was very convenient.

The TV is a smart TV with access to a good range of channels, including major international and local news services such as Bloomberg, BBC, Al Jazeera, NHK World, local news channels, and Astro Prima. For families and younger guests, there are channels like Moonbug and Nickelodeon, as well as HBO and Hit Movies for kids and young adults. Food lovers will also appreciate the Asian Food Network, which is ideal for culinary connoisseurs.

Housekeeping was excellent, thank you to Ram and Khairuy for keeping the room clean and comfortable throughout the stay.

Check-in was smooth overall. I did need to move my luggage onto a trolley first, but after that everything was seamless. Big thanks to Emilie and Cheryl at the front desk for helping organise and coordinate the stay, much appreciated.
Special thanks to the concierge team, Sabre, Likith, and Darshaan, for their friendly, helpful, and professional service, making arrivals, luggage handling, and overall movement very easy.

Elevators are plentiful, so waiting times were minimal even during busy hours.

Laundry-wise, there is laundry service available by request, but no self-service laundromat within the hotel. Not a deal breaker though, as there is a laundromat across the road, about 300 metres away.

The complimentary breakfast at Sunset Terrace was very good, with plenty of choices, nasi lemak, vegan curries, a noodle station, croissants, pastries, and more. There’s also a buffet lunch with generous variety.
Pro tip: the walk to Sunset Terrace is quite long, especially for elderly guests. You need to walk via the Resort Hotel and go down a level. Follow the signs carefully and assist your elderly loved ones if you’re travelling together.

Overall, a very comfortable and convenient hotel with excellent. they have actual buttons on keycard panel for DND and also request room refresh. Wish they have a disposable razer and also recyclable laundry bags.

A nice hotel for people who like shopping non stop! But the toilet don’t have bathtub.

Great breakfast, location fantastic near to huge shopping centre with loads of great food and near Sunway university for parents and Sunway lagoon for kids.

Overall, it was great time with family. I booked 3 different rooms from the hotel. It’s connecting to the mall and all facilities such as restaurants, car park, gym and pool are shared across both sunway lagoon resort and Sunway pyramid hotel. Basic room amenities as expected. One of the room facing the theme park can see fireworks which was the best memory with family. The down side was quite noisy and I can hear the next room, poor noise proved between rooms and noises from the street outside. The toilet is quite rundown. Time to refurbish.

The hotel is really nice and convenient because it was right at the mall. Easy to go shopping 🛍

Though the check out time was 12noon, I requested to delay till 1pm because it took sometimes for me to walk back from Monash University.The staff at front desk immediately agreed to let me check out late without hesitating. I truly appreciate his kindness only regretted of not taking down his name to mention here. Sunway Pyramid Hotel not only a hotel with all the fantastic facilities and convenient location moreover a hotel that warms your heart!

Good location and nice hospitality from the hotel. The staff is very professional and helpful.
