The bathroom was fresh and nice with a big walk in shower. Originally I thought it was a bit expensive, but the level of service and general state of accommodation exceeded my expectation
🌿If you are a lover of inner courtyards , patterned tiles and old stones then this is your perfect vacation home!
⏳When you enter the building you feel the beauty brought by centuries
The rooms are delicately decorated and the beds are very comfortable with a lot of pillows. The room itself did not have a window, but with a one way glass door you hardly noticed the lack of view
The king-size beds, the absolutely gorgeous antique patterned tiles, bespoke urban furniture, and luxurious bathroom equipped with gorgeous rain shower are fit for a First Lady
🗝The mix of traditional and modern elements in rooms seems stunning, plus the bed is super comfortable!🛌
🛎The staff is welcoming and always available and makes you feel home
📷All the architectural features don’t fail to captivate the eye and make you feel that you want to capture every single corner of this boutique hotel

We were really really pleased with this apartment,it had everything we needed, very clean, comfy bed, lovely shower, clean towels daily if we wanted them and the lady kindly cleaned bathroom and topped water up
Ferries depart at the bottom of the Barrakk Gardens's elevator so if you take any ferry, like to Gozo or Three Cities, it's super convenient. Our room was quiet, had a kitchenette, AC and heat, and a Juliette balcony
) Although clean, the upholstered pieces in the suite (couch and the bed's headboard) were a bit shabby. They need a good cleaning, or better yet, replacing. This is why I rated this place 4/5 instead of 5/5
For location, this gets a 10/10. It is legit right next to Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valletta where you can see amazing sunrises and sunsets (in November, at least; not sure about the rest of the year)
Also, many, many restaurants/bars are a quick 2-10 minute walk away. The bus terminal is about a 10 minute walk away. The housekeeper was super attentive and accommodating
We never had to buy water! (You can brush your teeth with the tap water, and I drank it, too, but my hubs didn't like the taste and wouldn't drink the tap water
Quiet place close by to the bezach and water. Bus stops to/from airport (line X2) just around the corner. You can go at any destination from „Ross” bus stop( capitol, ferry to gozo etc)
Personally, to stay in this hotel was a good experience, because is cheaper, it has great location and for its staff. Breakfast is also delicious so I totally recommend it!
The same with pubs and restaurants if you need to grab something to eat and go (lots of places just around the corner)
Very good, both for the place (in the centre of St. Julian), and for the courtesy of the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms, which are rooms, new and well furnished, only drawback is their size, unfortunately, small.
The hostel was very good. the location is superb. The room was clean, the bathroom was also clean but rather small, and friendly staff. The wifi was not so good. Overall, we enjoyed our stay
Not particularly cosy, but if you're just looking for a place to sleep and not a fancy romantic getaway, it's a good choice
Fantastic apartment, it exceeded all expectations. Spotlessly clean and very adequately equipped kitchen and bathroom, including a washing machine, iron and microwave. Will happily return soon
We stayed at “Lime and kiwi” apartment, spacious, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, suitable for 8 people. They offer breakfast in the next door hotel which was good too
Very good location, little n bit noisy in the evenings, but only living room and one of bedrooms faces to the street
Fantastic hotel located great very close to the sea and restaurants and pubs. Totally recommended.
The hotel has been exactly how it was supposed to be. Room pretty good and the forniture was perfect.
Location and place good.
Rapporto qualità prezzo onesto!
I have been bitten by mosquito and bugs in most malta hotels no matter the price so I usually buy a fly room spray wherever I stay. If you want luxury then book somewhere else for more money to avoid disappointment
It is very quiet considering it is in the middle of town. There is always hot water, comfortable beds, clean towels every 2 days and even Premier league football on the TV. It's as clean as most malta accommodation
If you want a quiet, basic, great value room, well equipped for cooking meals , to stay in the heart of Sliema whilst exploring Malta then this is one I always return to. Fantastic Thai restaurant below
For the price paid this aparthotel offers fantastic value for visitors who want a basic but well equipped, self-catering room in the best location for buses, ferries, shops, trips, walking and swimming
All in all what a great place. The manager can be emailed before you arrive and he will answer all queries very quickly. For the price we paid we are amazed at just what you get. Well done to all the staff at the Mavina
And up on arrival nearly an hour late through plane delay the guy at reception was brilliant very helpful and informative. The cleaning lady is really nice and helpful and is doing regular cleaning rounds
Great value. Spacious and clean. 24hour reception. All necessary kitchen equipment for 1 week stay. Pool area was good too but a bit too cold to go in as it was March
What a excellent place to stay. The pictures of the rooms do not do them justice. We have a lovely lounge kitchen perfect bedroom and ideal bathroom
2 and a half year old daughter and mummy. Update just booked for 2 weeks in October
If your young and maybe looking for a cheap/affordable hotel this is definitely the one for you the reception is 24/7 so there’s no curfew which I thought was great last but not least there was everything we needed, cutlery, plates, small oven and a little hob for cooking (we didn’t use any of it) but it was good to have the option !! Would recommend !
One is spoilt for choice if you want to dine out. The Hotel itself caters for the tourist who needs to getaway and relax, complete with outside jacuzzi if requested. The views from the terrace are amazing
50th Hotel is walking distance from attractions such as the Vittoriosa fortifications, the Inquisitor's Palace, the War rooms, the Maritime museum, the Vittoriosa waterfront and much more
Very good receiving, rooms are very clean and every day they do room service especially the breakfast how they arrange very nice, finally beautiful hotel
A quant and luxurious boutique hotel in the heart of Vittoriosa, one of three cities built by the Knights of the Order of St John in the 17th century
The room compliments the rest of the Hotel as it is comfortable to a T. Thank you for welcoming us to a weekend away from a hectic lifestyle
It's definitely worth staying here when you visit! Both the elderly and the children were very happy, and the sea-facing room had a beautiful view
A flawless hotel. Really top notch in ever way. Service, Rooms, Facilities were brilliant. I had a lovely stay here and would definitely come back again.
There are two balconies, and the sea view is unbeatable (see video). Since it was winter, the seaside facilities weren't open, and the pool was under maintenance, which was a bit of a shame
The room offered an unbeatable sea view, and the breakfast was plentiful. The room itself was spacious. Excellent.
The room environment was decent, but I can't say the same for the service. I left a €5 tip on the second day after checking in before heading out, but the cleaning was very perfunctory
However, they didn't even replace the disposable slippers for three days! It's like they're forcing you to go to the front desk and give another tip to get anything
there are three room in this location with a shared kitchen. everything was excellent for us here with the exception of the mattress and a little too little light in the kitchen for those who want to cook in the evening
nice location to stay in a quiet neighborhood. you can easily walk to the bus stop where you can take the bus to Valetta, there is also a ferry boat that makes the crossing for 1
The mattress was far too thin, so our nights were not so comfortable. the view from the kitchen on the harbor is beautiful, you see cruise ships sailing in and out every day

We booked this flat at booking! I was so surprised, it’s really nice place! The host Jessica is so nice! She checked us in earlier, cause we arrived before 15:00
Wonderful rooms in baroque style that absolutely covers the needs of a family. The owners are very kind and helpful even if you check in earlier than expected
Lovely atmosphere and great homemade breakfast! I totally recommend and definitely we will be staying there again! Right in the center of everything and next to bus stations and to the ferry for Valletta
The guest house is cozy, clean, and well-located, close to everything but still quiet enough to rest. You can really feel the personal touch and care she puts into everything
The only small thing that could be improved is the Wi-Fi signal on the first floor, but everything else was simply great
Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area you’ll feel more like a guest of a friend than in a hotel!
A good budget option hotel. The hotel has an arrangement with a nearby restaurant for breakfast
Full English excellent. My Seaview room had a wonderful view and balcony. Bus stop and ferry close to hotel.
and in the room next to the casual lounge, which I was lucky to have :) Breakfast is scheduled between 7:30 and 10:00 AM
Hotel was great, clean and check in was easy. Included towels and shower gel, but no toothpaste. Kitchen was available for everyone to use but the hob was not working
Facing the sea, the view is amazing. The room is clean and the bedding is clean. The only downside is that there are always all kinds of noises in the middle of the night. Sometimes it is very loud and wakes people up
We had sea view room that in my view is a must if you stay there. In summary, if you look for simple, economy hotel in beautiful location with nice people around - that’s the place. Would I come back here?
Definitely
The location cannot be better - sea, bus stop just in front of the hotel, walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. The sea view from the room terrace- top. The rooms are cleaned everyday

Casa Ellul is a small gem with an excellent restaurant. The chef was able to devise an outstanding dinner for us based on our vegan requirements
The staff were extraordinarily helpful, even coming around a tea time with treats. The location is in the historic part of Valleta but is still very quiet
We had an incredible time - rooftop hot tub with the cathedral right next door was a must!
However: my booked rooms roof was leaking. The third nights room had smells and had to climb to my sleeping area. Middle of the night had to find my way down to the washroom going steep stairwells…
Although I only stayed for one night, the service and breakfast were quite good. I arrived in the middle of the night and contacted the hotel for pick-up in advance. The hotel's arrangements were very appropriate
Extremely nice hotel, everything was perfect and the breakfast was wonderful.
Great location: close to bus stops, with easy access to the sea, and surrounded by plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops. A perfect place for a comfortable stay
The hotel left a very positive impression. Here, even the most experienced traveler or tourist can find a comfortable place to stay, regardless of budget
The check-in process is smooth and clear, the house rules are well explained, and the atmosphere is quiet, orderly, and clean
Fantastic hostel - staff were great, included breakfast was amazing, dorm was clean and comfy. One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in.
In front of the hotel, there is a lovely café where kind and attentive staff will happily take care of you
This hostel is a great, quiet choice with a nice sea view. It features a large, well-equipped kitchen and friendly, helpful staff. The rooms have shared bathrooms and are quiet thanks to clear rules
Malta Island, Sliema, Berth #103, Tigne Seafront 🧭 Map
Excellent moment shared with the team, fried eggs for breakfast, working into the boat and having a break by jumping over down to the sea. Can’t wait to be there for another trip. I see you soon for sure
The boat is comfortable and cozy, breakfast is excellent, and the special thank you for goes to the crew, all welcoming and great people! The boat is as well parked at the best location you can imagine at the island, with a view to stunning Valetta and a few minutes away from the bus and ferry stops, so it's easy to reach any place in Malta very fast and convenient
Charles and Daria are wonderful hosts, very attentiv. You won't have the space and comfort of a 5 stars hotel but you'll get the incredible feeling of being out of time and space, you'll land on a small piece of paradise
One must be clear to you if you want to book this accommodation, it is a real fishing boat which has been converted in a living boat. It is small and narrow BUT BEAUTIFUL
I spent every morning relaxing on the boat, enjoying sun on its rooftop and later exploring Malta's attractions. The best combination for the week-long adventure!
Despite being very hot on shore, the boat deck, lounge area and cabins were cool. Charles runs a small bar on the boat where you can buy beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks
The flat was really nice, but it had few flaws like for example almost broken sink (which broke in the time of our accomodation and was fixed the next day by the host) or old discolored toilet seat
Uncomplicated stay, nice location, nice owner who is always available per phone for questions you may have. Modern interior. Only beds are very soft and pillows too stiff and big.
Thank you Andrea!
Everything was perfect! very nice apartment with an amazing view. the apartment was very big and well served. I recommend it to everyone as it is also in a good location
the owner very friendly and available for anything. moreover, the apartment is located a few steps from the bus station and from supermarkets and restaurants
Very well communicated with Valetta and Sliema. There is a fridge so you can prepare food on your own
The shared space was in ideal condition, and the place has really nice view of bay from balcony

If you’re a tolerable person and traveler to little things you’ll be fine, and the front desk guy was nice so it’s safe overall
My first experience in a hostel. And I'll keep in my heart for ever all those beautiful people that made my first trip the best thing ever happened to me. Remember, it's not the place, it's the people you share with
The hostel atmosphere is good, easy to reach , calm area and nice people working there
Near the sea 🌊 restaurants 🥘 bars 🍹 and some attractions. The staff is very friendly especially de boy at the reception. Very nice roof top terrace with a nice view
There are different guests staying there - some people stay there for long time and they feel very entitled luckily the boy working at the reception takes his job seriously and he spoke with guys who’d organize parties while night long in the common area
Amazing value for the price 💶
😢:
Humidity - the rooms are extremely humid I tried to keep the windows 🪟 opened to let the fresh air in and vent the room but other guests would close it - if you have asthma problem it can be issue
