Stayed there before so knew where everything was. They didn’t do breakfast which I knew. My room was very small and always single rooms seem to be at the back of hotels in odd little corners. On the plus side the buses are outside the door and there are shops including a supermarket close by. The hotel sits right on the promenade which is really lovely.

My recent stay at the Sliema Chalet Hotel was a mixed experience. The hotel's location is undeniably amazing, offering easy access to many attractions and beautiful sea views- at least, that's what we expected. Unfortunately, despite our request, the promised sea view wasn't made available. The staff were generally helpful and friendly, which was a plus. However, the facilities left much to be desired. The room was fairly clean, but the ventilator looked like it might fall off the ceiling at any moment. The bathroom repairs seemed to have been done by the worst builders, leading to a less than satisfactory experience. For the money we paid, we expected better maintenance and cleanliness. The hotel definitely needs some serious repairs and updates. While the location is great and the staff try their best, the overall experience was let down by the poor condition of the facilities. Therefore, I can only give this hotel 3 stars.
