Why none of these were ever available in the hotel remains a big question for me. The best part of the hotel is the people. Extremely kind, friendly and helpful

Garden view rooms are also pleasant and you can see beautiful birds, so there is not a big difference between them. The stay was not cheap, but I do not regret it. Overall, it felt worth the experience

The fruit selection was also surprising for a tropical country — mostly oranges and bananas, sometimes papaya or pineapple. On Mauritius it is easy to buy fruits like watermelon, melon and mango almost everywhere

The selection was very small and the quality often disappointing. Portions were extremely limited — even a quarter of a chicken was divided into several small pieces and you were given only one

The room was cleaned carefully every day and towels were changed regularly. The cleaner was extremely kind and attentive. Food was the weakest part of the stay

Meat dishes, sausages and fish were poor, and salads sometimes looked like leftovers from the previous day

Particularly thanks to our cleaner Devianee who made a big effort for us, as well as Nadia at the kids club who was wonderful with our four year old daughter who was sprinting to go and play there by the end of the holiday

In terms of the facilities, we were impressed. We mainly ate at the buffet which cycles through different cuisines each night, offering a varied selection of food. We also enjoyed 2 of the a la carte restaurants too

At first glance, the front of Ocean V Hotel may not make the best impression. When we arrived by bus and saw the building from the street, we were honestly a bit worried

It is a public beach, but absolutely stunning and very beautiful — definitely a big advantage of this location. Another great benefit is the proximity to Grand Baie, which is only a few minutes away by taxi

One waiter even told us that since we were on holiday, we should not pour water ourselves, and that he would happily take care of it for us. This level of attention and kindness was truly special

Breakfasts were served as a buffet, beautifully presented, fresh, and delicious. Dinners were à la carte and equally impressive. The drinks at the bar were also very well prepared and enjoyable

Lovely hotel. Wonderful staff. Beautiful and quiet location. Restaurant was excellent, with nice variety and fresh produce. Nothing was too much trouble for them. An ideal stay for couples and adult groups.

There is always a breeze on this coast so you can enjoy the sun and keep cool at the same time. The cocktail drink made and served within a coconut is a must but it's not on the all-inclusive menu but worth the £6

Excellent stay with the team from Sakoa Boutik, they are all brilliant and very attentive. The hotel only has 16 rooms, so you are treated to a personal experience.

Wonderful beach directly in front of the house. Great corals!!! Very nice and quite Area. A lot of space in the house nur equipement did not always Work...no problem, nice Restaurant close by...

Very clean rooms and direct beach access (private beach). It was the finest beach around there and we’ve been all over Mauritius. Breakfast on request(?), but wasn’t offered. Awesome place!

The location looks like the tv show “melrose place”. It is so peasfull and resting. Silence, only birds singing ecc ecc. After the day at the beach going back there was like heaven

The location is maybe a little remote for some people, we chose not to hire a car as we like to walk anyway, there are a few restaurants within a 5 min walk and a couple more within a 10 min walk and the big supermarket is probably 25min walk away and a small shop within 5 min walk away

On one side of the property, there is a construction site where work starts loudly at 7:00 AM. On the other side, a neighboring hotel plays loud music from midday until late in the evening
