A huge villa consisting of a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with comfortable bedding and a beautifully decorated living room, the garden is very pleasant with its swimming pool

Aman for his availability and responsiveness, always reachable at any time, as well as the housekeepers Sham and Maita, very friendly and attentive. I recommend Villa Oasis whether you are alone, a couple, or a family

Resort manager Samuel and assistant Warren were very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping staff, Mrs Veronique, very nice and warm. Had a great stay with family during the weekend

Great place, only drawback is that the beach is quite rocky in this area hence swimming in the ocean is not ideal, other than that great place and facilities.

A supermarket can be reached by taxi for 300 MUR (London Way in Maheboug) Great thanks to Mary Ann and especially to Natasha our Houese keeper who kept everything perfectly clean. Hopefully we will come again :-)

Wonderful beach directly in front of the house. Great corals!!! Very nice and quite Area. A lot of space in the house nur equipement did not always Work...no problem, nice Restaurant close by...

Very clean rooms and direct beach access (private beach). It was the finest beach around there and we’ve been all over Mauritius. Breakfast on request(?), but wasn’t offered. Awesome place!

We were transferred from the airport in the morning and Mary Ann gave us a really nice welcome and showed us the apartment which was amazing. As described and in the pictures

Private sea/swimming access with great view but nicely located near to a lovely public beach with a few shops, stalls, restaurants and bars. Big airy rooms with nice balconies or verandah

Minor gripe: why is there an extra single bed in every room and please think about some more airy room furniture. I was happy to have a ground floor room

Yes, there were some negatives, such as older kitchen equipment, but the great attitude of the staff outweighed all of that. Kavi regularly asked if we had everything

We spent 10 days here on our honeymoon and we can only recommend it. Beautiful views, peaceful environment in beautiful nature

Even during their national holiday he managed to organize a special dinner for us! Thank you, Fardeen! The atmosphere was nice, with private beach, pool and garden

ASSOVILLA is a charming and truly authentic place. The family who manages it is extremely kind and attentive, offering excellent service at all times. The food is outstanding, and the beach is just a short walk away

And for the pool we really enjoyed it. At the end we ordered some pizza we really loved it and it was one of the best pizzas. You should really try this place

We were greeted by this very pleasant guy called Julio and the lovely owners,Ashok and Aarti. What can I say they went out their way to make our stay a pleasurable one. Moreover the food and entertainment were very good

So no “water activities” as is the case with a beach hotel but as locals who just wanted a break from the house & routine & had a birthday to celebrate, Horisun gave us all that we wanted in beautifully landscaped grounds

Roshan & Sang welcomed us warmly & then left us to our privacy. It is the low season so there was only one other couple besides us in the 15 room hotel. We were given a large room with a lake view & an outside balcony

Dinner was an “extra” which we asked for & consisted of a three course set menu with Thai influences. We only stayed the one night & the next morning, took a quick drive to the beach to watch the sunrise

& because we too live in the east, when a birthday approached, I thought why not try Horisun, if only to eat some authentic Thai food. Horisun is not by the beach but as a bonus, it has an inland lake

If we wanted, we would have had a 15 min walk to the beach. Breakfast is included with fruit, crepes & an omelet as well as the local gateau piment & pain aux chocolat

The only “activity” within Horisun is the pool which we enjoyed

Excellent manager in Richard who always goes out of his way to make your stay enjoyable. The cleaning lady took good care of us

We stayed in the 4 bed property which was as pictured, kept clean by the daily maid service in good working order. Any issues are swiftly dealt with and sorted

Location on nice quiet road. Great communication with Richard and his help made our vacation a lot easier! Good value for money.

Rooms are equipped coker microware all you need. Also we find the best Manager of all

The big supermarket is in about 6k away - a short and cheap bus journey or a quick drive if you have your own car. The kitchen was full of useful bits for self catering which was really helpful

The location looks like the tv show “melrose place”. It is so peasfull and resting. Silence, only birds singing ecc ecc. After the day at the beach going back there was like heaven

Excellent place. I am glad i choose this place. Makes you feel at home. The house is really good with maid cleaning provided everyday. Very close to popular beaches, super markets and restaurants.

Would definitely recommend it over hotels without hesitation. Garden retreat is simply the best place to be for a nice, peaceful and relaxing holiday

Ambience are really good. We took 2 bedroom villa. It's really good, two swimming pool access, washing machine, refrigerator etc..

However, the next morning the friendly staff apologized and the owner phoned us personally apologizing and informed us that the guests will be evicted immediately. They said in 5 years, this has never happened

Amazing bungalow, superbe 10 star service. Most charming, friendly and smiling staffs. They provide you with fresh baguettes every morning for breakfast and that is something that nowhere else will provide

They also provide you with nice towels including a beach one. They even provide you with a washing machine, ironing board and an iron. Cannot fault this place at all

Well this is the best place to go for a nice day away the service is 💯 eat and drink asmuch as you like the best settings and best views I think k I have been around 7/8 times now always a pleasure taking my guests here guaranteed lovely day out

Amazing family escape with clear shallow waters for swimming and snorkelling especially for kids. Buffet and drinks all in were a good treat. Highly recommend the island walk and taking time facing the crushing waves.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and made the experience feel very special. The food and drinks were excellent, and the overall vibe was relaxed and luxurious

It is really close to the amazing Blue Bay snorkeling area (circa 200 metres) and all equipment is available of you don't have your own. The service and the lunch are really where this island adventure really excels

If you have a very late check-in, this could be a problem, i do recommend to contact the owner any possible way. A very light breakfast is available. Overall, good value for money

Younoos was a very kind and considerate host, who also did an excellent job in coordinating my Airport Transfers.

General note: This is a small island, you could stay anywhere & still only be a max of 2 hour drive from anywhere else! Main roads are good & easy to navigate with Google map, but some village lanes are incorrect

There is a bus station nearby: bus number 10 costs 30 rupees and takes you directy to the airport, but it only runs during the day, other time — taxi, which you can negotiate for around 15 euros/dollars

Room had everything I needed and was comfortable. I slept super well. The owner was also super friendly. He even woke up at like 5:30am to make sure I had coffee before my flight. Such an awesome guy.

We stayed 2 times at Younoos place and both times it was a pure pleasure. The room is clean and has everything for comfortable stay + the owners make you feel cozy and welcomed

On one side of the property, there is a construction site where work starts loudly at 7:00 AM. On the other side, a neighboring hotel plays loud music from midday until late in the evening

We had a wonderful stay at Mon Choisy Beach R. The rooms were spotless, and the level of cleanliness was excellent throughout our stay

The apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen that has everything you need to cook, including a coffee machine, which was a great plus. The best part of the hotel, however, is Sanjay at the reception

While the hotel itself isn't responsible for these external factors, those specifically seeking peace and quiet might find it difficult here

Our family getaway at Colibri Beach House was simply fantastic! 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 The cleanliness and spaciousness of the place made it feel like a true home away from home

We used the sparkling swimming pool often as it was extremely hot. Loved sitting on our private balcony watching the sunrise. The unit is spacious and was equipped with everything you need

The Breakfast (optional) tastes very good. The prices for the rooms are very reasonable

We had a lovely relaxed four day stay with Annalisa in her immaculate Italian styled villa. We immediately felt at home and Annalisa is a wonderful host who pays attention to every detail

La Maison Soleil is a wonderful place. The landlord is a lovely, well careing woman. The rooms are clean and lovingly furnished. The whole place and the garden is wonderful and peaceful

If visiting Mauritius, I very much recommend La Maison Soleil. All the positive reviews are indeed true. I'd ignore any review less than 4 stars. Lovely owner, place and location

The bus stop is 100 meters away and we used the bus to travel up the coast to Palmar Beach and to visit the market in Central Flacq

I looked for cleanliness, security, good amenities(basic kitchen utensils & cultery), good location(Next to Super U, close to several restaurants, some 10mins to Church) They also offer touring, but unfortunately I'll catch up next time

We stayed their for 11 nights-17 to 28 May. Staff and Mr Eric all were nice. Location is very good, 2 min from Super U mall, MacDonald's, KFC, Happy Rajah near by. Bus stand and taxis are 2 min walk

The apartment was nice, clean, with a balcony, and the service was very good. The only drawback is the road... We are ready to return.

We booked studio with kitchen there, everything was good only I wish they checked room properly before we arrived

We have stayed at Monalysa for two times in the apartment which is very clean. The girls are very pleasant and very kind. They advise you and organize outings. It is very well located in Grand Bay.

Wonderful Boutique Hotel with excellent Staff Jennifer and her staff were amazing, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The hotel location is excellent with plenty of restaurants and a supermarket close by

Beautiful property with great ocean view. Rooms are clean and breakfast was good. Jennifer was of great help in booking taxi for local attractions as well as catamaran cruise. Definetely coming back here again

This is a wonderful cheap and cheerful weekend getaway around the nicest beach in the north. The location is excellent for restaurants, and winners is crawling distance

The breakfast choice is excellent and you can eat it on your balcony or have it served overlooking the beach. The hotel even organised a surprise snorkeling trip and decorated our bed for my birthday

If you are into lazy sunsets by the beach or in the infinity pool, delicious breakfasts and real Maurice experience then may I tempt you into trying this establishment? It's 5 minutes walk to the Pereybere Public Beach (see my comments on Pereybere)
