Reviews
This was our second time staying here, and we would absolutely return again. From the moment we arrived, it felt like coming home. It’s the perfect place to recharge.
We were welcomed with a delicious, health-conscious drink that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The front-desk staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind.
The rooms are beautiful—rustic yet refined—with plunge pools, thoughtful décor, and all the amenities you could need, from blow dryers and robes to additional curated items available for purchase.
With three restaurants on site, the dining experience is a highlight. There’s Japanese, Mediterranean, and an open-air beachfront restaurant, La Popular Nômade Temple, which offers fresh fish from the Caribbean Sea and a dining experience rooted in simplicity and connection to nature. Everything we ordered was not only beautifully plated but delicious. The servers were attentive, helpful, and incredibly warm—many even remembered us by name.
The beach was gorgeous, as always, and we were thrilled to find no sargasso seaweed during our visit.
The spa was incredible, offering a range of traditional Mexican treatments focused on deep relaxation and healing. The wellness program is also robust, with complimentary yoga, breathwork, outdoor ceremonies, and unique experiences available for purchase. Our only suggestion would be to increase capacity—classes fill up quickly, especially during busy weeks.
No coffee facilities in bedroom
Erratic hot water
Very limited choice of menus for the included breakfast. A pimple granola and fruit was a chargeable extra
Very high drinks prices. $25 for a glass of house wine
Very hard to find one’s way around the property with very little signage
$300 charge for taxi to Cancun
However:
Beautiful jungle setting
Incredible beach (but shortage of sun beds)
Great yoga classes
Cafe and Restaurants near hotel
We were blown away by the ambience and aesthetics of the venue. A jungle restaurant, yet calm and chic to the core. It's like nowhere else we have ever dined.
We got to experience an excellent tasting menu while the DJ played great beats throughout the night under the stars. The Mezcal cocktails were the best we had in Mexico!
The staff were attentive and super friendly.
We had so much fun and will definitely be returning on our next visit to Tulum.
Our starters were nice except that they forgot to give us spoons to eat a beet purée. At which point it started to rain and we had to run for cover. For a place that is totally open to the elements, they seemed slightly ill prepared for rain.
We were relocated and our mains were pretty average. 2 people had fish which was over cooked and my veggie rolls were nice, although the wrap was hard to cut and even harder to eat which made it almost impossible to eat. Seems like the chef may not have thought this dish through.
When the bill came, we weren't offered any discount for all the issues we had, which included having to listen to concrete grinding from the property next door (approx 60 feet away).
There were some other minor incidents which made the experience less than satisfying. The place gets good reviews, maybe we just had bad luck that night, but I won't be going back.
