Ambre & Epices Jungle Hotel & Spa in Tulum

We decided to celebrate my wife’s birthday at Ambre Epices in Tulum, and we truly couldn’t recommend the experience enough. Alain, Sam, and the entire team made the weekend incredibly special from start to finish.

Everything was perfect—from the beautiful location to the incredible food, and all the thoughtful planning Alain helped coordinate ahead of our stay. The property feels like you’re in a beautiful jungle, it’s peaceful and serene. For nights out Alain had car services organized so it was easy to get our large group to dinner and nightlife. I highly recommend this place!

The roads next to the hotel are rough in case that matters.

I celebrated a birthday with 12 friends here. The 8 suites are spacious, well decorated, and clean. All the catered event at the villa were perfect. The manager, Alain, is very attentive and super helpful with coordination inside and outside the villa. He goes above and beyond. Not one bad moment during the week we spent here. Pool is large for swimming laps. On site security 24 hours. Daily room cleaning. We had plenty of spaces for yoga, massages, tarot reading, fire dancer and much more.

We have taken the Moroccan cooking class at the hotel and we highly recommend it as a fun and educational experience that's perfect for foodies and anyone interested in learning about Moroccan cuisine.The chef, was knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about sharing his expertise. We loved every second of it.

Wonderful staff and such a well kept property. A real hidden oasis, great for rest and relaxing downtime. Quiet and picturesque with several pools including a beautiful rooftop pool and lounge area. Rooms are comfortable and have such an inviting design. Certainly enjoyed this space!

I stayed here for one week on retreat and the experience was seriously like paradise. The name is accurate and did not disappoint! Total luxury. Sometimes you get to a place that looks nothing like the photos however that was not the case here. Just BEAUTIFUL and I can say the same for the staff. Friendly and accommodating, the rooms beautiful (mine had a balcony), clean and comfortable, everything in working order. The pools are gorgeous, the beds so comfortable you have to talk yourself out of them in the morning, and so many areas to lounge and take it all in. On one of the days of my stay I opted for a spa massage that was amazing. I recommended it to any of my companions who would listen :). If you're debating whether or not to stay here...do it!

Ambre & Epices was the most incredible location for our 14 party trip to Tulum. Every single step of planning and execution was handled impeccably by Alain.
