I thought check-in was a bit strange, as the desk insisted that I sign two CC printouts, one as a "copy. It was pricier than some other hotels in the historical center
Good clean hotel, no issues does the job.
The breakfast in the morning was tasty cheese omelette with the usual refried beans and very lightly toasted white bread with jam provided. There is a swimming pool in the hotel we did not use it
Pool in central courtyard area good size and depth to swim diametrically across or around. I did see the staff cleaning it in the morning but by early evening there were a fair number of leaves floating
Corridor outside room door big puddle(they overwatered the pot plant!!). Cleaning staff removed all my towels and did not replace. Had to request toilet roll to replenish
The buses ran all hours of the night and it was exceptionally loud. We were on the third floor and you could also hear the kids in the pool late at night

The hotel room left me with mixed feelings: on the one hand, a good bed, but on the other hand, the condition of everything else is very old, there is no refrigerator, safe or cutlery in the room
Check in at 3 pm. After two days at airports because of delays. The last thing you want to do is to set and wait to the very last minute to check in.
The hotel has a great location within walking distance of the ADO bus terminal, as well as all the historic sights of the city center
Hotel is near to city center, free car parking, walking distance. Hotel is okay if you not picky, as can see its age.
The hotel it's Nice, have a good service in general, the pool it's big but the bath un the rooms is small, but in conclusion all it's ok.
Room was ok, AC didn’t work So they moved us to another room . Besides that we were happy

Very convenient location. Rooms are not very sound proof. Older hotel with small pool and nice courtyard. Continual cleaning t seems as facilities are basic but sanitary.
Very noisy, there's a night club next to the hotel, seems like the party is around the swimming pool of the hotel.
Great 11 day stay. Close to everything and staff if amazing. Left hotel Merida that was a sister property and charged full. Lost an 11 day stay and no compensation from hotel Merida.
Comfortable stay. Clean and close to everything! Shopping, restaurants. Friendly staff. Stayed during the hurricane and felt safe.
Everything was great. Location, clean and a typical lovely Mexican hotel. Great for a couple of nights visiting Merida.
Great location, centrally located and walkable to everywhere. Good price. Great option for families.

We stayed at Hotel Mirador in Merida for one night during our trip across Mexico. It was one of the best hotels we found at a reasonable price. The hotel was clean and welcoming
Room ok but some renovations would be needed. Not great when Electricians worked near the room's door with the sign do not disturb at 7/8am
Ask to have a room far from the lobby! Ours was very close and very noisy, we couldn't sleep until after midnight and got woken up before 6
The quality and price are excellent. The hotel is well located and close to the center, and the pool is clean.
The room was always cleaned, as needed and I loved the pool and breakfast, but it was the friendly staff, from housekeeping to the staff at breakfast to the kind man who seems to do everything here, he walked me to my room at check in, to the cats and the kindness of everyone here
Old facilities, nice pool, comfortable beds and decent breakfast.

We did not want to bother the staff. Very quiet, comfortable bed and serene views from the pool
Gabriela, Elberto and so many others made this such a lovely stay! It was my birthday week and Gabriela made it so special. The rooms were clean, the service impeccable and the location walkable to the center of town
The hotel and its pool were undoubtedly the highlights, offering a great environment for relaxation and leisure, which I thoroughly enjoyed. However, the service aspects of the hotel left a bit to be desired
Impeccable service, room and the tub on the balcony of the suite was icing on the cake. I really enjoyed my time here and on the night of the eclipse I was able to watch from the tub
Only thing I would change is the dinner we ordered. We were a bit disappointed and had to order in from elsewhere. The room had a light flashing all night, but was able to close off the bathroom sliding door to block it
the valet - Rooftop pool and bar are really nice and a great feature - Overall layout of the hotel is charming - Great water pressure and genourous rooms The not so good: - Upon check-in, they tried charging us a 240/day "resort fee"

Kind and courteous staff a small but deep and cool pool and close to the parque de San Lucia economical, but it feels fancy
Pool was closed for maintenance most days. Rooms could use some repairs. Staff could be a little friendlier.
Better options in the area Lobby and pool area is very pretty. Room was clean but without character
Would recommend anytime ... staff was super helpful, hotel was clean / beautifully decorated, well located, and the rooms were very comfortable. Suggestion : Provide glasses (for drinks)
Great location. Lovely clean rooms at very reasonable prices. Good restaurant on site and many other eating options close by. Excellent service.
There's a mini cafe where you can get coffee. The room is small and modest, but clean. Cons: no refrigerator in the room and no elevator

The pool only has 4 chairs and the food and drink prices are absurd even for Merida
Great hotel family friendly. Good food and a pool
Need to update TVs and pool it is not a cheap place, they should upgrade a lot of things!
A decent place to crash Overall was good but at the check out the person from the lobby asked me to wait until they check the room to see if I broke or stole something. Which is the first time ever I see this!!
The hotel is very clean and relaxing. The gardens are beautiful and the staff very attentive and nice. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.
Not many of the employees spoke English in the ones that did very little but they were still very helpful the restaurant staff was amazing, very clean rooms.

The rooms are not the best.. but they are clean.. The roooms feel like they need some update..but for the price is ok.. the attention of the staff in the front desk is great and is quite a plus.. Surely will come back
It's better than many hotels that cost over 300. Art 57 Hotel is in a central location. The rooms are quiet, comfortable and beautiful. The air conditioner is not facing the bed. They also give you bottled water
It can be said that it exceeded my expectations
The lights for the outside private pool didn’t work either, I did notify maintenance 2 times but still didn’t get fixed. Staff overall is okay and not the most friendliest
Nice and quiet location, friendly staff
I stayed in a junior suite and, for a small difference in cost, got my own plunge pool. In the blazing heat, that was a fantastic feature

Hotel Mucuy, Merida1 / 30
7.5
Merida, 481 C. 57 Centro (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The property entrace is secured at 12-midnight. It does offer a small, but good kitchen that offers a hot breakfast. Daily housekeeping with clean sheets and towels are included. Hotel Mucuy is in an excellent location
Hotel Mucuy offers a well-maintained pool, which is nice after a day in the hot Yucatan sun. Moreover, Hotel Mucuy is a clean and, in my experience, safe property with 24-hour receptionist
All things considered; Hotel Mucuy is an exceptional value for solo-travelers, couples, families, groups, business travelers that are self-contained, extended-stay travelers, and holiday travelers foe events such as La Nocha Blanca
Much, if not most, of the "must-see" venues are within a 5-20 minute walk: El Corredor Gastronomico 47/Meridas Culinary Corridor; Mercado Lucas de Gavez; Parque de Santa Lucia; Parque La Plancha; Merida Zoo, etcetera
Very good breakfast options, I order the omelette with fresh fruit, fresh orange juice and coffee. Best of all, Hotel Mucuy is located with in a 15 minute walk to much of Centro
It is located within a 5-15 minute walk (I'm a 71-year old Boomer with arthritic ankles and knees. I check my times with the stopwatch feature on my Casio wristwatch)

This restored colonial house has a great pool, in a tranquil setting and is surrounded by fruit trees that help make breakfast delicious
A 400-year-old hacienda, beautiful grounds, gorgeous bedroom furnished with antique furnishings and fixtures, an honor system well-stocked fridge with beer and Cokes, and two very interesting proprietors, I missed out on not staying here more than my last night in the city
I was planning to stay in this place for 1 night and ended up staying 2. This place is awesome, it's clean and very quiet. It is 15 to 20 minutes from the main Merida city. The owner of this hotel is a very kind lady
We were very happy and highly satisfied to choose this Hacienda, such a lovely place! The room was so clean and big enough for 3 members. They are friendly, I have nothing to say except WONDEFUL Place to stay.
Lovely place to stay with incredibly helpful hosts who will personalize your trip as much as feasible. The garden they're growing in the back is gorgeous and the entire stay was peaceful and beautiful
Lovely original Hacienda building, outstanding spatious room high ceilings and great decor. Quiet location still near Merida metropolitan area (Kanasin), quick access from the highway.

Rather tired decor and variable quality towels. Some issues with the breakfast options - hotel and linked restaurant need to explain this better but otherwise tasty and staff do try
Just note that this is a basic hotel in the center of Merida, so don't expect any luxury here, especially for the low price they charge per night
The room was clean and the staff very helpful.
The rooms were large and comfortable, which we appreciated, though there was limited storage space in the room — only a few small shelves. The water pressure was also quite low, which made showering a bit inconvenient
Not the best room for older people or those with probpems woth sreos as we had a very high step into the bathroom and had to keep the light on all nihht to avoid a fall
Everything was good, the only thing is there were a lot ls mosquitos in the room. We had to buy a repellent, and spray all over the room every day!!

Gym is terrible, sparse, outdated. Something fell apart while I was using it and another made this loud sound. Staff are lovely though! Good central location. Not all hotels even have a pool at this price
It was a great experience, but the WiFi signal was weak on the 1st floor, I wasn't able to use the WiFi, but everything else was fine. The pool is the coolest part of the hotel, very clean!
The pool looked nice but we didn’t swim. Overall a great place to stay if location and restaurants are important to you
Didn't even have fitted sheets, just regular sheets draped and tucked on the mattress. Pool needs to be cleaned more often and the sides of it scrubbed. There needs to be "Do not disturb" signs available
The hotel was not 3 stars, it ha a lot lacking for 3 stars. It was dirty, in bad conditions, they didn’t put enough towels even if I made reservations for 4 people
Shower leaked at the bottom in one. The other by the pool smelled meldewy/moldy. Looked like it had surface mold that was just painted over

The pool was pretty and well maintained. Breakfast was mediocre…literally that’s the only thing I’d change but next year I’ll stay here again
I got in early and I was allowed early check in, muchas gracias! 😊 Location is also great and near the Sta Lucia park
Room is great, cleaning staff do a good job. Tried the breakfast at the hotel and it's great, nice, friendly staff
Great stay!! Will definitely be back.
I liked the proximity to key historical areas in the city like the Cathedral and Plaza Santa Lucia. There are several traditional restaurants offering excellent food and great prices.
Perfect location; all the places I wanted to go to were walkable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean and bathroom facilities all in great working order…hot water, strong flow

I'm a little baffled by this place. We were looking for a more relaxing vacation, so we decided to stay here instead of in the city proper. The grounds were lovely, and we had one of the three pools all to ourselves
We had a wonderful 3 day stay at this lovely hacienda. The grounds and the rooms were beautiful, and the staff was first rate. Everyone was friendly and helpful and helped make our stay much more enjoyable
We saw the owner going around, checking to make sure everything was in good condition. The meals were very good and the wait and bar staff were very attentive
The only suggestion we would make is for the hotel to provide cloth napkins in the bar and breakfast area instead of paper ones. That would be more in keeping with this elegant hotel
The well-maintained grounds are stunning with tropical plants, many walking or biking paths (bikes are supplied for free), two heated pools and a man-made cenote
My husband and I stayed two nights at this beautiful hacienda. We appreciated the friendly and courteous service we received from Ricardo at reception. Our room was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable

The rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped. The bedding is comfortable and modem. The cold A/C is welcome considering the climate in Merida. There's a small pool in the courtyard
Great location, close to everything! Shops, restaurants, cafés. However, the hotel needs some renovation. The furniture is not comfortable and the pool is merely decorative
This is a small, but COLORFUL and FRIENDLY HOTEL!!! The STAFF were way above average + the SMALL PISCINA (POOL) was very welcome & refreshing
I had a very pleasant stay here. Excellent value. Unbeatable location. I would stay again for sure and definitely recommend.
Old place, but extremely convenience, very clean, great service, defenetly I will comeback next visit.

The Hacienda is amazing! The wood, work the doors, the pools, the furnishings, all perfect. You mush be aware that this place is not for people who need an elevator so you must be prepared for stairs
Rooms are a great size with lots of original features - beautiful tiles, lighting and great pools. Staff were extremely friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again if I visited Mérida again
Well restored historical building. We never had to share a pool with other guests as they were all located in different quarters. My two kids and I had a great stay. They also enjoyed the breakfast on premise
He was always there to lend assistance whenever needed. We never got to introduce ourselves to the maid, but she was absolutely lovely. The two owners of the place were also incredible to work with
They were so helpful throughout our entire stay at the hotel. Lucy helped arrange our return shuttle ride back to the airport. And Armando was just an all around help with whatever we needed
In all of our years of traveling throughout Mexico. The Hotel Hacienda VIP was one of the nicest, well staffed, convenient, beautiful, well appointed, colonial hotels we've ever experienced

It's a beautiful place for a night out, I had a root beer in the coffee shop, its affordable and is close to a main park of the city so you have many amenities near
Great location. Just a few blocks from everything you're going to want to see. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Free gated parking.

The rooms are very clean and modern. The beds a very comfortable. There’s an excellent Italian restaurant with homemade pasta and a coffee shop downstairs. The location is very good. All in all it’s a great value!
We also bought a soap dish so that used soap would not be placed directly on the counter by the sink. We also had to ask for floor towels for stepping out of the shower and hand towels
The room was spacious and clean , with a comfortable bed , however the bathroom was terrible. It strongly stunk of sewer smells and the shower tiling was dangerously slippery
Staff not friendly at all, hard to talk to, always on their cellular. We walked in this evening after dinner, said, "hello" and had no acknowledget or answer.
Loved it! Will definitely book again. The service was good and the rooms were so nice. Plus you can't beat the location.
The room was well appointed and clean. The hotel is near downtown and there are plenty of eating options close.

I wanted to set up a few things in the room beforehand and the hotel staff was happy to help. When we arrived we were greeted with a welcome mocktail and provided with an upgrade which was incredibly kind of the staff
Diez Diez is nicely situated, close to main drag and restaurants. Issa in a he restaurant was amazing. She made an extra effort to connect with guests
While it’s a bit away from the main centro, the area is calm, safe, and full of excellent restaurants. It’s also very close to the Paseo Gastronómico, which is perfect if you love exploring food spots
I recently stayed at Diez Diez and was really impressed. The hotel is an older property that has been beautifully renovated—modern touches while still keeping its charm
Every interaction we had was outstanding; the reception team especially goes above and beyond, whether it’s helping with room needs or offering assistance outside the hotel. The location is another highlight
Amazing & friendly service We stayed at the Diez Diez Collection to celebrate my partner's 30th birthday. From the moment we booked, the hotel staff was super responsive
