We had a wonderful 3 day stay at this lovely hacienda. The grounds and the rooms were beautiful, and the staff was first rate.. Everyone was friendly and helpful and helped make our stay much more enjoyable. We saw the owner going around, checking to make sure everything was in good condition. The meals were very good and the wait and bar staff were very attentive. The only suggestion we would make is for the hotel to provide cloth napkins in the bar and breakfast area instead of paper ones. That would be more in keeping with this elegant hotel.

Beautiful and historic property, lovely rooms and huge bathrooms. The grounds are amazing but seem 50% inactive and it was eerily empty for our visit in late January. Also, few staff speak English. Location is 30 minutes from center of Merida. Still, we loved it and recommend it.

This is a fantastic place tucked away near the airport in Merida. The Hacienda was first built in 1640 but it is like a lavish resort in the middle of the jungle. With cenote, swimming pool pools, a first class spa and excellent accommodations

Wonderful hacienda and room. Bathtub amazing.
Pool is ok.
Cenote is small and not beautiful.
Awful breakfast, awful service at breakfast, cheap coffee, small assiette of fruits, one orange juice for two, no refill. Ridiculous and petty for the price.

We arrives at the hotel and a few problems came up. First, they wanted to charges us for the room when it was already paid. We didn’t get the room we paid for. There was a wedding that was playing VERY loud music. They should consider sound proofing their windows. I asked for a wine bottle opener and I e but they wanted to charge me for the ice. The hotel is beautiful but the neighborhood is not the best.

Horrible. First, they charged me almost 400 dollars for a small room. I just realized it when I left my credit car was charged. 2. The restaurant was a person who made me wait for hours and very bad actitud since mad at anytime all the time. Terrible !!!! … I believe the food was re used again. Wise than airplane food . The worse at the end they told me that the found the shower broken and wanted to charge me to repair. I couldn’t believe it !!! The manager was trying to be nice, but at the same time he was trying to blame me to play the game to get more money Becareful because if you are alone or especially if you have a credit card and a woman having vacation alone, they automatically will take money and blame you from something to steal from you. The spa was empty and the maintenance was bad. The girl with the massage was really nice . the gardens were beautiful. the cenote was dry. my recommendation to go to check the gardens during the day, and have a massage. the rest not worthy to stay.

i requested a receipt, invoice upon leaving the place..they didnt supply me with one..they said they would email me one..a week and a half later i have not received a receipt..can you (*******) help me obtain a receipt, invoice for my stay there?

I'm a little baffled by this place. We were looking for a more relaxing vacation, so we decided to stay here instead of in the city proper. The grounds were lovely, and we had one of the three pools all to ourselves. But there were things that made it feel not worth the money. Breakfast was great, but the one dinner we had at their restaurant was the worst meal we had on our trip -- maybe on any vacation -- including the worst margarita of my life. My suspicion is that this place really shines for big events -- it'd be an amazing place to get married -- but isn't as much designed for the random traveler. In the end, for the money, I just wished we had stayed in the city.

My husband and I stayed two nights at this beautiful hacienda. We appreciated the friendly and courteous service we received from Ricardo at reception. Our room was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The food served at the restaurant was delicious and the service was excellent. The well-maintained grounds are stunning with tropical plants, many walking or biking paths (bikes are supplied for free), two heated pools and a man-made cenote. But it's during the evening that it becomes magical with beautiful lighting throughout the property.
