My recent stay at this hotel was a great disappointment. While the property advertises itself as a 4-star establishment, it felt more like a 2-star experience at best.
The biggest issue was the bed. The mattress was incredibly thin, with springs poking through, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. To make matters worse, the duvet on the bed had no cover, which was both unhygienic and unacceptable for a hotel claiming to offer a higher standard of service.
The bathroom was another major letdown, with black mold clearly visible in the shower. This raised serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. Additionally, the room had a kettle, but no cups, tea, or coffee to accompany it—basic amenities that should be a given in any hotel.
On top of all this, an extractor fan located outside our room ran all night, making it impossible to get any proper rest. The fan ran up the side of the wall, producing a constant noise that made the stay even more unbearable.
The photos on the website were very misleading and completely oversold the experience. We were expecting a much higher standard based on the images, but unfortunately, the reality didn’t live up to the marketing.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. It fell far short of expectations and certainly does not deserve its 4-star rating.
1. We stayed on the 5th floor, and there is no elevator.
2. The room was very small and lacked sufficient natural light.
3. The bed was very soft – it must have been in use for over 10 years and urgently needs to be replaced.
4. The bathroom also needs renovation.
Additionally, the breakfast could be improved. On a positive note, the location is good, and the ladies working at the reception were very kind and helpful.
Overall, the hotel does not offer good value for the price, especially given the lack of amenities and the condition of the facilities. I would recommend looking for better options in the area.
