Alright, let's get a couple of housekeeping items out of the way first. This is a family run guest house designed for longer term stays, not a hotel

Myself and my partner came here for food after a long day of hiking in the national park. The portions were good, the food gave a delicious introduction to the regional food of the area

The restaurant staff is friendly and they'll bend over backwards to get what you want; food is great. The hotel rooms next door seem to vary in quality. We had a twin room facing the road

The room is quite large but there is no elevator to the 3rd floor. The hotel is 20mins walk into the town.

Without a/c it was hot and the road is noisy from early morning to late at night

This location is super good but be cautious about the hills and the stairs as to get to and from the main strip you have to walk multiple stairs up and down

If you are looking for an exuberant sea view, a clean room and welcoming atmosphere then I definitely recommend you check in at Hotel Pirate old town 👍

I recently stayed at Pirate Hotel in Montenegro, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making sure every part of my stay was comfortable

Location is very good, 4 minute walk to the beach. Hotel is clean, ac is working, towels and sheets are changed by needs. Hotel is family owned and you can ask any question or make arrangement

We loved everything about our stay! The ladies at the hotel were incredibly kind and welcoming, the room was really clean and comfortable, and the view from the balcony was amazing! The location is perfect, central enough that you can get everywhere walking, and also quiet enough at night to have a restful sleep

The view is worth a million, if you take a room for two with a balcony, the bay is super visible. Very nice service, a nice girl Maya is always ready to help. The room for two is cramped, there are some disadvantages

She kindly upgraded me to a side sea view room with a balcony which was fantastic and had the comfiest bed I’ve slept in for a long time. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean

The beach is really close, which for Herceg Novi is quite an achievement -- it's pretty much a city of stairs :). We had a wonderful time and we are definitely coming back!

Would also recommend taking the steps or road down to the promenade where there are restaurants and you can walk along the coastline

The rooms are spacious, have everything you need, beds, wardrobe, pedestals, safe, mini kitchen with a set of dishes, shower, hairdryer, towels, Wi-Fi, a large terrace with a dining area, cleaning every day

Convenient location! Friendly hosts! Not far away was a small market, buying meat and then roasting the market for free on the check. They took everything and made breakfast on the balcony of the room!

The views from the room turned out great, but it would be more beautiful if you cut down a branch of a wonderful olive tree a little. In room 14, where we lived has its own mini-kitchen

You have few diferent meals, so there must be something that you will like. Hotel is completly renovated on the outside. This fall they say, they will also renovate rooms

For price that we paid, it is great. Yes, rooms are old, but everything was clean. There was a problem with mini fridge and they change it right away

A nice baratságos csaladias 3 star staying at the best hotel directly on the beach. The owners speak English and Italian. The breakfast could be more varied, but the quantity is appropriate

Our best memories in Montenegro - the kindness of the owners, the beauty, the cleanliness and the simplicity of the place

When we just arrived, we found a fridge full of things which she had so attentively prepared for us: a high quality bottle of wine, freshly grounded coffee (!), a plate full of fruits, a baked apple cake, a plate full of cheese and bacon - we just couldn't have asked for more! Every day Sanya does cleaning making sure to fulfill the things that are running out

The hostess, Sanya, is such a lovely person, very caring and friendly. She baked delicious cakes and pancakes for us a few times during our stay - which was a very nice surprise every time she did it

Super cozy clean room, such wonderful hosts (Jovana and her mother) - so kind and genuine. Perfect location close to the old town. The apple pie and pancakes were delicious! See you again

The rooms are very clean and neat, the kitchen has everything we need for cooking, laundry has a washing machine with washing powder so we don't need to buy anything which is super handy

Ivan, the manager, was extremely helpful with all our questions about Montenegro which we had plenty. He also helped us to carry suitcases up the stairs which was very nice of him

Oh and a sea view from the apartment is just superb! Such a pleasure to be sitting at the balcony every day, and looking at the beautiful city and the sea surrounded by mountains

Did not like that thermostat in room did not adjust temperature just made you think it was. With thermostat on temperature was too hot and could not be adjusted

Would have liked to know turning on instead of cooling room would heat it up. Visited in winter on warm day

I was given instructions to leave my car in a neighbouring car space (which I was also directed to the day before) when a very rude manager came out and aggressively and disrespectfully yelled at me about leaving my car there

Clean, private and the only negative was loud mosque just beside the building woke us up at 4.

I told him the young man in the office gave us directions to leave it there. He then questioned the young man who was witnessing the attack on us and out of obvious fear, he denied he had told us to park next door

The manager then accused me of being an arrogant tourist and a liar! Of course I did move the car as directed by the manager but was quite shocked by his rude and unjustified attack and outright disrespect

Overall my experience was very good and any requests were attended to quickly though it is very expensive compared to other locations in the same area. However, I will not stay there again

Property is very near the beach, which is very convenient for families with small children. Property is next to local seaman's mosque, which makes you fell like you are at home

We are satisfied with the accommodation and the attitude of the owners towards the guests. Nearby are two beaches, the city and Lucice, less than 10 minutes walk. Definite recommend!

Nice hotel with big rooms and a swimming pool which is its strong point. The cleaning service was worsening every day. The lady didn't make the beds and didn't change the towels
