Where to stay with kids in Tivat

You have space to play a few games as a family and many spaces in the garden to have a quiet time. All in all it was a lovely place to stay. I would be back with more friends

The snack bar is well set with tasty snacks and at dinner time children or adults can have ice-cream. The staff are very welcoming and happy people

If you love to be in water it's the best place with several swimming pools. If you have a family I'm certain you will enjoy the space, you can play volleyball at the beach side, there's a basket ball court as well

From my balcony I had a front-row seat to the parade of boats – I waved so much I’m pretty sure half the marina now thinks I live here

If they heated the outside pool a bit it would be much better as it would prolong the pool usage in autumn. The spa is nice but it would be nice to have a jacuzzi there, or waterfalls on the pool

We had use of the facilities almost to ourselves and a complimentary room upgrade with views of the marina which was very kind. The hotel itself is certainly 5 stars and we had a peaceful and comfortable stay

Luckily there is a nice bakery and supermarket, both of which are reasonably priced. Overall if you want a peaceful break in pristine conditions and don’t mind being a bit isolated then this resort is ideal

Generally the lustica bay is stunning, quintessential to say the least but the staff where quiet helpful and helped upgrade us with ease to a two bedroom at the marina which is also stunning

Disappointing stay due to poor indoor temperature control and unhelpful service. Our room was uncomfortably warm (27°C), and despite several visits from maintenance, the AC issue wasn't resolved

It becomes very hot when using the duvet, but too cold without it. I understand this may be for easier cleaning, but unfortunately it makes sleeping quite uncomfortable

Affordable, at very good location at Marina. Walk through the beach, you will find a lot of choices of restaurants. The staff was very courteous and helpful, inexpensive, affordably priced.

Great location, just a few minutes from Porto Montenegro, and an excellent terrace with magnificent views. The stay was slightly marred by construction noise from a neighboring building early in the morning.

The location is idyllic - tucked away in a corner of Tivat right on the edge of the sea in a picture-perfect village. Breakfast is served in the adjoining restaurant, Punto Crudo, which was delicious

We stayed at this hotel for just one night as part of tour of the Balkans. The decor was very nice and the bathroom was modern with a walk in shower in our room 427 and nice complementary toiletries

Unfortunately the food in the restaurant wasn't as hot as it should be. I appreciate they are catering for lots of people but the fish we tried was drier than dry

However, the surrounding area is incredibly beautiful, featuring stunning beaches, picturesque viewing spots, and an ancient fortress

Agape Hotel Rose is simply perfect. The view of Boka Zaliv is breathtaking, and the swimming pool with that view is unbeatable – the ideal spot to relax. Being just a few steps from the beach made our stay even better

The pool area is cozy and also with breathtaking views. My only suggestion is about the shower cubicle, which should have a door to avoid water splashing around the bathroom

The bed is the most comfiest thing ever and the rooms are all so amazing even in the cheapest room. The spa was also lovely with a large pool and a jacuzzi, the massagers were amazing and worth the prize in my opinion

The views are amazing and the hotel offer free boat rides to Porto if you go to one of their restaurants which was also lovely, also the beach and pools were 100% 5 star worthy they were so clean, never too crowded

Keep this in mind if bringing a family, especially on the weekend it was very rowdy as anyone is able to enter the hotel for free

HOWEVER The service was not 5 star, not even 3, if we booked a boat or a taxi it was always late and the staff never delivered on the service after saying they would, for example we asked to book a boat for 6:30 but we waited till 7 and turns out it wasn’t booked and there were events that night which meant we had to find different plans, overall just felt rude

All the staff were friendly, helpful and kind and bent over backwards to try to make our visit as good as possible. We would be very happy to stay there again and would recommend it without hesitation

The shower was hot and easy to operate, and the breakfast was tasty and so nice the first morning that we had the same thing every morning! It was good to be able to eat it outdoors

Spent one night here , this is a very comfortable hotel. Great bed , room clean and tidy. Fantastic shower, lots of hot water. Reception staff helpful and friendly

I had a good feeling about this hotel before we even arrived, as they had shown great patience and kindness through all my questions during the booking process

Breakfast is a la carte, I had an omelette delicious. There is a supermarket, turn left on leaving the hotel and a bakery on the right

The private swimming pool was nice and wifi too, open network. I should note that the restaurant is not always buffet, as I understand it's based on the amount of guests

Fabulous hotel with great facilities. We really enjoyed our stay at the Franca Hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The rooms were gorgeous and spotlessly clean

The room was of a good size with a double bed, a single bed and a nice sized balcony with views of both the pool and the sea. The bathroom was clean and had a great shower. There was a safe and a minibar

The pool was lovely and pretty empty and quiet. Not right in the center of the city, close to a beach and park. A big Supermarket is 100 meters away. Walking into the center of Tivat takes about 10-15 minutes

There are two pools one big and one small, for the kids. There's a basketball field also. Overall, a nice cheap hotel, with a market nearby, and isolated from the noises of the city

What a wonderful characteristic building from the 70ies, I appreciate it is still there and honored, room 231 view towards the sea and to see a magnificent sunset, man from reception so friendly, hotel right at the beach, breakfast good to get strength for the day

A very nice hotel, with small but comfortable rooms and toilets. The hotel is pretty big and the yard is filled with grass. There is an outdoor restaurant and an open bar

Krašići is a place for people who need a break in the literal sense of the word. The beaches are small with dzomba stones, so if you like sand, this place is not for you. Blue Bay Apartments is pet friendly

There is one IDEA store (watch out for product expiration dates, especially towards the end of the season), one private, very poorly stocked store and three bakeries

His kindness, friendliness, and professionalism were exceptional. Thanks to Bojan and the wonderful experience we had, we’ve already decided that we’ll be staying at Forte Rose during our next visit to Montenegro

The dishes were well thought out and exceptionally well executed. It was an absolute pleasure to have lunch here, and I would say it was the best restaurant experience we had during our week in Montenegro

Great setting as the restaurant is in its own bay within Kotor Bay with views out towards the sea. We were helped tying to a bouy. Later their own Rib collected us on time and dropped us on their jetty

The prices at this restaurant are higher than average. However, in return, you get friendlier and better service than elsewhere. The food matches the price and does not disappoint in any way

I stayed in the dorm room which has 6 beds although it was never full even during peak tourist season. The room was always clean and mostly tidy. The room has a nice view of the water and mountains

The apartment is good, clean, has good Wi-Fi (the name and the code were on the table), air-conditioning, even bed-heating. There was hot water in the bathroom all the time

There is a modest kitchenette with a small fridge, a microwave oven and basic cutlery, but without a tap and a sink. The host Dimitriy was discreet, quiet and good-natured

I popped back to the room during breakfast one day to pick up a cardigan and found the housekeeping staff eating the box of chocolates, they weren’t replaced. That left a sour taste and doubt around trustworthiness

The changing rooms were all locked, and the bar was closed, which was disappointing given the warm weather and the setting

Upstairs, the rooftop pool offers absolutely stunning views, a real highlight but again, the surrounding decking is damaged, with some parts even falling apart

Boutique Hotel La Roche is a calm and elegant place to stay, set in a beautiful spot right on the water. The view from the room felt peaceful at every hour and quickly became one of the things we enjoyed most

A good hotel with pleasant rooms and delicious breakfasts. There's free parking, which is very convenient. The only disappointment was the spa. The saunas are decent, but the pool area is in poor condition.

It was great to warm up in the sauna and hammam in the evening, and then swim in the pool. The service is very friendly, and the staff speaks English and Russian

We are fussy travelers from Manhattan and keep high standards. Excellent location block from the water and main restaurant and shopping area. It had everything you need, small pool, gym, spa, sauna and steam

As a small boutique hotel they will never be able to compete with larger hotels but teh experiene was transformed by the fact that they consistently went out of their way to be helpful and one staff member especially ( a lovely lady from Bali) was a goldmine of helpful information about local facilities and options for sightseeing/recreation and good restaurants in the area

There's also a nice terrace where you can have wine and relax in the evening. There's a pool on the top floor, but in April, the terrace was closed and cluttered with laundry and bottles

The breakfasts are tasty and filling (even better if it were a buffet), but there's a small drawback – the menu doesn't indicate if a dish contains onions, and they can't remove them (it's best to ask beforehand if you have an allergy)

And if you don't need cleaning, they won't just give you water; they'll suggest you go to the restaurant. There's a delicious restaurant downstairs with good service. You can ask for wine glasses for your room there

Also, due to an early checkout, they offer a 'lunch box' instead of breakfast, but in reality, it's just one small sandwich and a banana. It's certainly no match for a proper breakfast

The room has everything you need: a hairdryer, air conditioning, shampoo, hand cream, soap, a coffee machine, kettle, and refrigerator. The room itself is quite spacious and cozy

com (support confirmed that no additional payment was needed), but the manager refused to listen, demanding money for some 'taxes' and declining to even look at the booking

Was advertised with a pool, but there was only one pool with some dirty water in it. Otherwise good 😀

Our 2 bedroom suite had 2 terraces and mosquito nets. Zorica (the owner) is very kind and accommodating, we had a wonderful time in Maki apartments and we will definitely come again! We highly recommend!

Stayed here in early August with my family. One of the most loveliest and cleaniest apartments I have stayed in. Very welcoming staff and in a lovely location too with restaurants and beaches just 5 minutes away

Frome terrace you can enjoy relaxing mountain views, while kids play on children equipments in backyard. Host is very friendly and helpful. Nearby restoran serves delicious fresh meals

Everything was clean, we had all we need there: dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer, iron, small playground. Also, excellent internet connection

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Aparthotel Samardžić in Tivat, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and felt welcomed right away

I've spend a week with my family in Montenegro and our staying was just across the road from the hotel. We went everyday for a coffee and breakfast as was open not only to the hotel guests but also to the public

The view is spectacular ✨️ I really loved the view from our apartment. Most of the time it was only us as if it was a private pool. My favourite was omelette was cheese and vegetables
