Palmeraie Golf Palace by Pickalbatros in Marrakech

Just had a week at this hotel and wanted to write a honest review as I was checking them before booking.
The absolute benefits of this hotel are:
Incredible animation team, you don’t have to be involved in anything they do but they are friendly, chatty, helpful and kind. Lovely group of people.
The food has been great, really can’t fault it. Didn’t use the 2 restaurants that you had to book due to poor feedback from people but the buffet was great. Always a good variety.
Lovely place for morning coffee/afternoon tea with great cakes.
Loved the smoothie bar.
Free shuttle service into Marrakesh was an absolute plus. Goes a few times a day and saves money on taxi’s.
Rooms were very nice, spacious and spotless. Lovely showers, comfortable beds and pillows. Room cleaned to high standard every day. Very quiet at night.
The whole resort was very clean.
Staff were all amazing, so friendly and nothing too much trouble.
The heated pool is wonderful, main pools are great.
This is not a 5 star. It’s a 4 star at the best and the reasons why:
Drinks are poor, limited choice and no service around the pool. Always having to go to the bar.
No drinks brought to the tables during meals, again having to queue at the bar.
There are only 2 bars in the complex which only one is open at a time.
The spa isn’t really part of the hotel complex, you need a buggy ride to get there and it didn’t have a true spa feeling at all.
Would I come again? No, have I had a good week? Absolutely.
The staff make this hotel what it is.

We had an amazing stay at this all-inclusive resort — it genuinely ticked every box.
The food was consistently good and, best of all, always available. No matter the time, there was something fresh and tasty ready to go. The same goes for the drinks — plenty of choice, always flowing, and no long waits. Exactly what you want from an all-inclusive experience.

The pool was spotless and well maintained, with a great atmosphere throughout the day. There were loads of activities like darts, archery, and regular performances that kept things fun and lively without ever feeling overwhelming.
Great food, great drinks, a clean pool, and plenty to do — we left relaxed and already thinking about our next visit.

We stayed at a golf hotel just across from the golf course but I played four rounds of golf at this amazing golf club. I managed to get out every morning quite early to avoid the waiting. I really enjoyed the golf course, it is quite a challenging golf course with a bit of water here and there but some beautiful fairways and the greens are nice and slick I think it's Bermuda grass and it's very sticky and difficult to chip around but you'll soon get the hang of it. The golf attendant at the first tee is a credit to the golf club. He helped me every day and tended to my every need. I've included a picture of him. Thank you for a holiday I'll never forget. I'm a 5 handicap and shot 89, 82, 80 and then 77 on the last day.

Friendly hotel with nice staff, the building renovations closeby ruins the feeling of the area currently, but once finished will once again be nice. Golf Course nice with fabulous staff. Drinks in All inclusive unfortunately not 5*!

And if there is one person who made our stay truly special, it is Bahiya — the lady who took care of our room every single day.
We have never experienced such quiet dedication, attention to detail and genuine care. The room was not just clean — it welcomed us. Every day felt like someone had prepared it with respect, warmth and pride.
No words were needed. Just a smile, perfection in every detail, and the feeling that you truly matter as a guest.
The hotel itself is excellent — food, atmosphere and relaxation are top-level.
But people like Bahiya are the reason you want to come back.
This is not just All-Inclusive.
This is hospitality with heart.

I enjoyed staying in this hotel and I love coming back again

Overall I would definitely recommend Hotel du Golf. There are a few things the hotel could improve on but for the price paid it is great value. The most important thing for us was the quality of the food and the comfort of the rooms and for both of these this hotel was great. The buffet for each meal contained a very large selection of good quality food - everything was fresh and there were plenty of different tasty options. The all inclusive included two a la carte restaurants - the Italian restaurant was good and the food at the Mediterranean was ok.

The room we had was very comfortable and clean and the housekeeping service was really excellent. Overall we were also very happy with the friendly service from the staff - everyone from the cleaners to the waiters greeted us with a smile. We wanted a hotel outside the city but they include a free shuttle to the city and back so it's easy to get in and out.

There is a gym and indoor pool on site and also included. The gym was really decent and had loads of machines but the indoor pool needed refurbishment. (We didnt go to the Spa)

A couple of other minor things.. while the hotel is very clean in the hotel lobby/cafe the smell from detergent was at times overpowering. Also our shower curtain didnt cover the back of the shower fully so it made a puddle behind our shower.

Overall though a very good hotel.

We had the best time. Id defently recommend this place and especially if you have kids. The water parks are amazing. The pictures online don’t do the hotel justice, it’s way better in real life. Had the best week wiv my family! Staff was lovely especially the entertainment team from the day and night who made our holiday a wicked week! Thank you too.. Fadwa ,Jamal ,Adil, ilyas, Bono, lahcen and Bruno and any of the rest of the team whose name I missed! Your all amazing⭐️❤️
