Great customer service!! Checked us in earlier, helped to charge laptop multiple times, very attentive and helpful!
Sharing the elevator with residents was a minor inconvenience, but the location is incredibly convenient.
The room wasn't huge, but it was fully equipped and stylishly designed, even with a working record player! The hotel's ground floor has a bar, a pool table, and a vintage camera. The location is super convenient; you can walk to the free ferry in 3 minutes to get to Central Station, making it easy to go anywhere. It was a really unique experience!
Really surprised by all the amenities and activities that you can do in this building.
Location was fantastic! From the centraal station, just had to take the ferry and its just a short walk away. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room may be a bit cramped, but definitely has characteristic!
This is the 4th I stay at this hotel. And it is always excellent!

Good hotel, rooms are small, but breakfasts are superb. The hotel has a very convenient location.
We had a great time. Very nice location, very good delicious breakfast
Really warm service, and the location is fantastic -- would also recommend paying more for the canal view. The only little thing that bugged me was the design of the shower where the ledge isn't high enough and water keeps overflowing out to the main floor.
Location! 5 stars service! Fantastic river view from window but room size is small.
Location! 5 stars service! Fantastic river view from window but room size is small.
The hotel is in an excellent location, and is within walking distance of various attractions. The service staff is very enthusiastic, and a glass of welcome champagne was given on the day of arrival. Mr. Bora from the Omber bar specially made two cocktails according to my taste, thank you very much. The only drawback of the hotel is that I was given a room opposite the elevator, which was very noisy...

This hotel is very dedicated to customers. I left the hotel leaving my laptop in the room. I called the hotel and the gentleman at the reception was very willing to find a way to return it to me, who was standing at the airport. Guess what! A taxi driver brought it to the airport in about 25 minutes and I had it with me when I took my flight! I love this hotel. Thank you very much!!
Good Location, thats all i can say. Rest pretty average.
Park Plaza Vondelpark Amsterdam is tucked away in a quiet spot in Vondelpark, but traffic can get a bit clogged at the front during the day. It is walkable from Museumplein. The rooms are clean and quiet. The stay is comfortable. The breakfast choices weren't much, but the food was well made. The staff was kind and welcoming. We got 2 rooms as we were traveling with our teen and adult sons. No complaints...
Great stay!, lovely and clean, friendly staff. Nice location Tram 5min walk
I am not usually a person who writes reviews. But I have to share my experience of staying in this hotel with you. I checked into this hotel on the 17th. That night, when I was washing up, I put one of my rings on the bathroom tissue box. Because our whole family rented bicycles to ride the next day, I didn't wear the ring. It was also my fault that I forgot to lock it in the safe. We returned to the...
Clean hotel. Small cute and quite rooms. Good breakfast with lot of choice. 10mn walk from Museumplein.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was ideal just outside the city and it was no more than 15 minutes into the city via bus. The bus stop is literally 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was really good.
The hotel was clean and had everything I needed. I had a minor problem with the check in but the staff was very friendly and professional.
Travelled with my son recently and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel had great facilities and may well return in warmer weather when pools are open.
I come back here always when in Amsterdam. I like this Hotel. Staff friendly. Cleanliness, breakfast and restaurant. All good.
Location of hotel is perfect. Just a bit noisy if the room face road side .
The hotel is located on Spaarndammerdijk in Amsterdam's northwest, part of the West district (encompassing areas like Westpoort and Oud-West). This neighborhood is notably quiet and retains a strong community vibe, offering a pleasant contrast to the city center's bustling tourist areas. It's primarily residential, home to many locals, with traditional Dutch houses, green spaces, and the Spaarndam...

The hotel itself was nice and good location, we were not warned about building work around the hotel and when mentioned there was no apology and no form of compensation. One night we came home from a long day/night and our room keys wouldn’t work the working gave us more cards and they didn’t work this took 3 attempts till he just came up with us to let us into our rooms so we had no working keys for...
One older, extremely rude check-in staff made my stressful situation worse while I was on a 1-hour call wait with the airline about my canceled flight. Better replace this person if you want to greatly improve your hotel service. Other staff on different days and times were kind and understanding.

We had a great three night stay at the Leonardo city hotel. Great location near the museum area and inner Amsterdam canals, yet really quiet too. Breakfast was great value, good selection of hot and cold breakfast, pastries, fruit and fruit salad etc. The breakfast room was very well decorated and stylish. Rooms were ok, each enjoying a big picture window, ensuite and comfy beds, Staff were very helpful...
Everything was great, but the soundproofing wasn’t the best. I guess it’s just the way the place is built.
Cosy hotel but with tiny lift. Hotel was old but still clean. Quick walk to nearby attractions like Rijkmuseum. Hotel also offers bike rentals, and near another bike rental shop.

The city center is just a 10-minute train ride away. The tram station is nearby, so it was quiet at night and I was able to get plenty of rest. It was a stylish hotel and very comfortable. I really appreciated the water dispenser in the lobby, which was free to refill. I drove, but I was also able to park in the underground car park. This was really appreciated in Amsterdam, where parking is scarce
A very cool hotel, great location near to Amstel station (5 min walk). Great bar and restaurant, good quality but quite expensive.
Clean, cozy, and reasonably priced. The room is spacious and has everything you need. The mattresses are comfortable. The shower could use a little more pressure and a higher temperature.
I really like the environmental design of the room, industrial style👍🏻 Also very hygienic The scenery outside the window is very pleasant In addition, there are few restaurants nearby, but the restaurant downstairs of the hotel is highly recommended.
Super beautiful room and 5 star - level hotel amenities (I love the package and the scent so so much and I actually want to buy them if possible). The staff here are really sweet and friendly. Renting a bicycle from the hotel is also an option with a reasonable price. Five star to everything!
There is bus No. 37 at the entrance of the hotel, which seems to run every half an hour; it takes about 10 minutes to the subway and N S station. It feels like it's near a residential area and relatively quiet. I just didn't expect to catch up with the EU's annual large-scale cardiovascular meeting and annual car race during the stay, and the accommodation cost was frighteningly high! The service and...

Overall the staff was helpful and they have a nice lounge if you are waiting for someone you can sit there and charge your phone as well.
Very good stay easy commute to amsterdam central.Room are small than expected but clean
I usually have work in Equinix AM2 datacenter and this is the nearest and most affordable hotel nearby. Rooms are clean. Reception is friendly. Metro station is at walking distance.

The room is spacious and clean. Location is good if you wish to enjoy the local vibes as it is near to the fish market. Many halal supermarkets and small restaurants nearby. The only issue is the size of bed is too small. The matress and pillows are too light/soft that make you less comfortable when sleeping.
It's quite suitable. It's a 15-minute taxi ride to the exhibition, although taxi fares can be a bit high sometimes. There are convenient food options nearby, and plenty of supermarkets. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. As for breakfast, I guess that's typical in Europe—just average.
The room was clean, and there were restaurants nearby. The surrounding environment was acceptable.
Overall, it was a good experience. Transportation was extremely convenient, with many bus stops nearby; the environment was also very nice, with a large park just a hundred meters away; the service was good; and the breakfast was decent.
Remember to book a balcony room. I felt a bit disappointed not to have one this time. It's quite convenient to go everywhere. The room is neither too big nor too small, just right for one person. It's a bit old, but it seems like a cozy residential area without too many messy people. However, I saw the police arresting people across the street at night, so I'd better go back to the hotel early after...
When we checked in, they were very polite and kind, and even though we don't speak either English or Dutch, they explained things to us in easy-to-understand English. They even carried our suitcases up to our room, which was very helpful. The room was very spacious, and there was plenty of room even with two suitcases spread out. Good location and the room is very spacious as described
Truly great (and much needed) transformation of the former Tropenhotel. The ‘new’ Hotel V Oosterpark (opened about 6 months ago) has spacious no-nonsense, modern (almost minimalistic) and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. While not everything is perfect (poor lighting, no possibility to open any windows with temperature control not perfect, etc) the overall price/quality is good (for Amsterdam...
Compared to typical luxury hotels, this hip hotel is more suitable for travelers looking for value for money. Upon entering the hotel lobby, I was greeted by a subtle fragrance. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in...
Good hotel! Nice location and excellent service.
Excellent location at Hotel V Oosterpark, Linnaeusstraat 2C, 1092 CK Amsterdam, directly next to Oosterpark. Parking is convenient at Q-Park Oostpoort, Polderweg 92, 1093 KP Amsterdam, which is approximately a 700 m walk from the hotel. Super easy check in process & you can leave your bags safely there before and after your stay, so you don’t need to carry them around. Our room had everything we needed, looked cool and the bed was comfy. Also I really liked the wooden room cards, first time seeing this, so I found it impressive.
Great hotel, lovely staff, gorgeous room (conscious WOW room). Clean, warm, spacious. Only downside is that the bed wasn't super comfortable for us and I had to ask for more pillows as they are really soft - but these are all personal preferences. Definitely would stay here again. Not a far walk into the centre. Beautiful views.
The location was perfect for us but it is a 30 minute walk to downtown Amsterdam which may not suit everyone. It is close to bus routes though. The room was modern-style which isn’t cosy but I personally liked the minimalist aesthetic. We have had a lovely time in Amsterdam visiting for the first time. Ivan who was greeted us on our arrival was amazing. It was decent. The hotel is quite new, but the room lighting is very dim. It's close to Chinatown and a certain red-light district, just a few minutes' walk away. It's also near the station, about a 5-minute walk.
I stayed at France Hotel Amsterdam on October 22, 2026, and was pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and featured a large double bed. The only downsides were the lack of a city view and the fact that no breakfast is provided.
Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant. We arrived unexpectedly after our flight was cancelled and we were looking for a room without a reservation. Good location, great room, really good breakfast.
We were quite disappointed with this hotel. Despite reserving months in advance and prepaying and checking in at an appropriate time we received one of the worst rooms where it was like an attic and barely has any natural light or space to move around. The hotel is quite dated as well and not well kept in our opinion. The breakfast was superb however.
The hotel is perfectly fine. Perhaps the room could use a place to store belongings. But otherwise, it's clean, the bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is good.

We stayed here with our daughter (baby) Valerie. We were given a crib, but it was more than just dirty; it had a comforter that had clearly been used by someone else. I hope you can offer a solution because we were very unhappy about this. Unfortunately, we didn't take any photos.
Budget-minded travelers who mainly use the hotel to sleep & shower and spend days out exploring. With decent amenities, clean rooms (for the most part), and good transport connections. It won’t feel luxurious, but for a 3-star hotel
We arrived at this hotel by bus from the airport. One straight bus from the airport. Bus 369. U can get directions from the information counter. Like 15 minutes before reaching the hotel. The hotel is located near a few cafe wholesalers selling fruits. One of the receptionists a guy was very nice gave us clear instructions. Didn't take his name. A big thank you. An easy and practical location, close to trams and local bars/ restaurants. Lovely vibe and very friendly, helpful staff. Could improve on some details for example the huge TV picked up hardly any stations and the sliding bathroom door had a mind of it's own requiring two of us to close it sometimes!

A really friendly hotel and a great base for exploring Amsterdam for a few days. Location was excellent, being away from the centre, but still walkable and being close to tram stops and the Vondelpark meant our stay was very relaxing.
