Amenities in the room were a mixed bag eg coffee machine but no iron that we could see; squeeze bottle of shower gel and soap, which, while environmentally friendly, is a bit 'ick' for me hygiene wise

The hotel is right in the main square of Amsterdam, a great location to base yourself for a few days. You are close to everything, including the main train station

Unfortunately the rooms are pretty tiny (barely any room to move in the toilet/ shower, I'm only 5'3" and relatively slim) and construction started at 7am each weekday, which we didn't know about (we had scaffolding right outside our window)

I could have chosen many much better hotels without balconies, but the balcony was really important to me. So I paid for the most expensive room to have a balcony, and when I arrived, I realized there was no balcony

Stayed here for one night in Amsterdam. Excellent location in the heart of the city. Clean and very pleasant and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast was ok nothing to shout about but would stay there again

Lovely stay here staff really helpful when requesting to change rooms our second stay at this hotel and are returning in June

Great location! The only downside is that there are stairs in the room, so you have to carry your luggage up. Other than that, everything was fine.

Walk from the Amsterdam central station. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The only thing I had trouble with was the stairs. Stairs are everywhere to carry suitcases

However, because it's in old buildings, our room felt a bit dated and had a few minor flaws. It was noisy in the evenings and at night due to being in the city center, especially with a factory nearby

It's housed in historical 18th-century buildings in the city center, just a few minutes' walk from Dam Square, Central Station, and popular streets with cafes, shops, and entertainment

Was our stay perfect? No, it wasn’t: there was a small electricity problem that caused the lights in the lights in the bathroom to be not working in the morning. But the staff handled that in the best possible way

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! 🏨✨ The location is simply the best in Amsterdam—close to everything yet peaceful and charming. The staff were excellent—so friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile

“The best service tops perfection” We’ve had a lovely stay at The College Hotel. We really like what they have done to the rooms during the renovation. We like the light themes better than the previous dark ones

Note: the room scent you can select at check in and the nice quiet atmosphere in the building create a nice calm vibe throughout the whole hotel. We highly recommend the College Hotel

My boyfriend and I had a great time, very kind staff, we had free coffee, milk, hot chocolate and free water, the room was clean, we stored our luggage at the hotel on the day of checkout to be able to visit the city more freely

Good location with 10-15 minutes tram to Central station. Beautiful view from the room. It's good to have free coffee and hot chocolate at the bar.

A super pleasant stay! We had a wonderful, spacious room (despite the name 'small room'). The breakfast was delicious with plenty of vegetarian options, and we really enjoyed the complimentary snacks and drinks

There are nice areas downstairs with tables and chairs, perfect for relaxing. Our room was easily accessible by elevator, although there are 2-4 steps leading into the lobby and breakfast room

The location is excellent, just a 3-minute walk from the tram stop and within walking distance of many attractions

It's across from the Olympic Stadium, and there are buses and subways right at the door. It's tulip season, and the streets are lined with tulip beds

Facilities: Very complete, with a kitchen, very convenient Hygiene: Very clean Environment: Very design-oriented, the materials and colors are very comfortable Service: Very good👍 The location is not in the central area, but very quiet

The only drawback is that even with two layers of curtains, light still sees through, and the sofa bed being close to the window might be a bit of a nuisance. Overall, it's great, and it's also welcoming little biscuits

Greta hotel with an excellent vibe. Staff is super friendly and the rooms look pretty chic, with all the amenities you can think of. More like a small apartment then a hotel room. Definitely would stay again. 

This July is a bit out of the city center, but the facilities are very new, transportation is very convenient, and the surrounding environment is very nice

Stylish and pretty hotel with great and warm service. Appreciate the complimentary coffee and fruits each day. While the light in room is somewhat dark.

Good value for money. It's a bit far from the center but there's a direct tram line, so no issues there. The facilities are clean and the beds are comfortable. We didn't hear any noise at night, which was a huge plus.

Lots of cute n lovely cafe, restaurant and coffee shop nearby to explore in the neighbourhood, the city park also is very nice for ppl who love to have an early morning walk

The rooftop balcony time of here maybe one of the best time of me in Amsterdam, if you are lucky enough to watch a sunrise there with a lovely weather, you won’t regret it

Was a few issues when checking in did take quite a while but there was a table tennis there to waste time. Hotel was clean and very welcoming. Recommend!

The interior design is very cute and the bed is comfortable, the tub in the toilet also good for a relaxing moment after a long day city exploration

Absolutely lovely hotel - we could not have wished for a better base for our adventures in Amsterdam! Hotel was almost finished being refurbished and I was little worried about the noise, but all for nothing! Perfect location, 1 minute walk from the Museum Square, room was quiet and comfortable and - the piece de resistance - there was a coffee machine in the room with coffee pods included! Everything was great! The place was clean, comfortable and well organized. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

The suite room is a bit of a mixed bag. It had a great interior, but some flaws. We had a leaking shower, some smell in the bathroom and doors that hardly closed. The view is breathtaking, especially at sunset

The staff were very helpful and spoke good English.. The rooms were excellent. Only down side was having to go out to eat at night. As dining room was only open for breakfast..

I really do love this hotel and have stayed on several occasions, I will continue to do so if I am in the area as the beds are so comfy, views are great and rooms are spacious

I definitely recommend booking a room with sea view! The breakfast was a bit of a chaos (too many guests for too little staff) but maybe that was due to extra amount of extra guests because of the Circuit Run

I just wish they would change the 4pm check in as when we arrived we where advised we can get in early. We went up at around 3pm and the cleaner had finished, leaving the floor but where not allowed in till 4 still

Our reservation said that we have VIP, which would’ve given us a free bottle of wine, but the hotel said that they did not see it so could not acknowledge it. We absolutely loved the dining area

Loved our room, BUT folks need to be aware not all rooms booked are in the main hotel, some are down the block in another building. Still very traditional Amsterdam. Amazing lounge with food options in the main hotel

This hotel had everything: impeccably clean, authentic, modern, roomy lounge, helpful staff, and best of all - close to everything we wanted to walk to. I had the garden room with jacuzzi tub

Breakfast was wonderful and the ambience was magical. The bedroom decor was not something we would’ve chosen, but it was nice. The amenities provided in the bedroom were wonderful

Wow just wow, the best experience of a hotel that I had experienced. The atmosphere, the design, & the room were amazing. And the Jacuzzi after a long day was a cherry on top.

I was looking for a place to stay with a car in April, as I was going to see the tulip fields. This place won me over with its free parking and the price per night (not cheap, but not as expensive as in Amsterdam itself)

Great place to stay on business travel. Welcoming and polite staff, willing to take time to answer your questions. Breakfast is nice, nothing super fancy but you'll definitely find something appetizing to your palate

I found the restaurant (the fancier one of the two) serviceable but perhaps underwhelming. Diverse options for dining can be found nearby, but not within walking distance. Rental bikes are an option, about 18€ a day

It fits the "you're away all day and come back in the evening to spend the night and shower" formula. In my room, there was a lantern shining through the window, but this problem was solved with blackout curtains

One interesting aspect of staying here is needing to leave your room key at the front desk when you leave the premises. Initially a little annoying versus keycards, but I can appreciate the tradition

Physical room keys are valuable to the hotel in a way cards are not. It's also interesting to see the occupancy state of the hotel with a glance at the keys stored behind the front desk

Perfect location to explore Amsterdam. Walkable to all main sites, also on multiple tram lines for easy access to anywhere. Friendly staff with nice lounge area and good breakfast. Try Cafe Piper a block away’

Spacious clean room, very nice lounge with free coffee and tea, and very kind staff. Location was also superb, close to a tram stop, and just a little walk to Leidseplein. Many restaurants in the area.

We stayed 4 years ago on the top floor (rear) and had a fantastic room.Had to hike up a few stairs but well worth it Highly recommend this place. Restaurant had foie gras and a great small bar.

Be sure to book a canal view room, although it's a little more expensive, but the view outside the window is really great! The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and gave me a map

I booked River view from this App, but during check in receptionist informed me that the App tricked me.

Built in 1867, the hotel sits on the banks of the Amster River, much like the Peace Hotel on the Huangpu River, boasting stunning views! Architecturally, the AESTEL HOTEL (InterContinental) was historically unparalleled in its grandeur

First, the service was superb! The doormen and bellhops were very gentlemanly and traditional; the front desk staff were warm and professional, able to arrange/book tour tickets, and very considerate in negotiating late check-out; the lobby manager was also very welcoming and professional

In the end, I gritted my teeth and booked the InterContinental, and stayed for eight days. It's really good, very close to the subway station, and there is a big supermarket half a stop away for supplies

The room was very beautiful and comfortable, the service was attentive, and the food was fantastic. I especially loved it and would definitely stay at this hotel again next time I'm in the Netherlands

From the hotel, you can walk straight into Gaasperplaspark, a beautiful and peaceful park on the Gaasperplas lake. A water playground with various play and climbing frames is located near the hotel

We regularly stay at this hotel. It's a simple hotel with fairly small rooms. The rooms are quiet, with shutters that perfectly keep out the light, and the beds are comfortable

Its location on the edge of Amsterdam Zuidoost is easily accessible, close to the A9, A1, and A2 highways. Next to the hotel is the terminus for Metro line 53, which runs to the city center

Great room. The hotel is right next to the metro to Central station making transport extremely easy & efficient. They also sell toothbrushes and toothpaste.

Excellent hotel with free parking (rare for Amsterdam). We rented bikes and went to the center (16€ per day)

The room and decoration are beautiful and nicely execute. They have the complimentary available at the lobby. The price is high but acceptable considering its location and the accommodation price in Amsterdam

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The free welcome drink was a lovely touch that made us feel right at home. Would definitely stay here again!

Room was ok , 4 bedder was huge but services were basic .

They also have an espresso machine, robe in hotel. They also have luggage storage for your convenience. Free coffee/tea and 1 welcome drink = beer/ cocktail/ wine, you named it. I highly highly recommend this hotel

Hotel very clean, we had a cosy room which was supposed to be small but it was actually quite spacious, it was a perfect base for what we needed. Highly recommend and I am a travel snob i like a nice luxury hotel

With a late flight, we were offered a free midday checkout or 1:30 pm for 20% of the nightly rate (about AUD$33), which was well worth it. Secure luggage storage was also available for as long as needed

The bathroom was compact and basic but exceptionally clean, fully functional, and the shower was excellent. Shampoo/body wash was provided, and we were amused to find the hairdryer stored in the safe

They left a personalized letter welcoming us. The room was so beautiful and unique the bathroom super clean and ultra modern amazing shower head and heated floors as well as a Dyson hair dryer

Fantastic, this is one of the few hotels I’ve ever been in that is not only convenient but friendly, opulent, unique and value.

It was amazing to look out the windows at the lights reflecting off the canal at night and we didn’t hear our neighbors even once (sometimes a trade off when staying in buildings with so much history)

The included breakfast was also fantastic! I am gluten free and they prepared a special little bread basket just for me, so I could enjoy a croissant and bread too, which is not something I’ve ever experienced at a hotel

Room service is open 24 seven exceptional dining options. Five star all the way accommodations and lovely staff. I've already booked a mini stay later this month for my daughter during her break From school in Amsterdam

Beautiful room, very attentive staff, excellent cocktails in the bar. Would absolutely stay again next time I am in Amsterdam. We rented bikes and got the airport transportation organized by them too

We stayed 2 nights on a short visit to the city and I have to say The Dylan was an amazing experience from start to finish. The Team there were all so professional and helpful in every way

We only stayed for a night due to bad weather and flight cancellation however it was an amazing stay with amazing staff, should we return to Amsterdam we will be visiting again

my daughter arrived at midnight because her flight was delayed. The most gracious and kind staff walked her luggage up to her room as the room had a steep flight of stairs
