There was a coffee machine that served various types of coffees like lattes etc and fresh croissants every morning. This was a nice and much appreciated offer. The staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming

A great stay at this lovely hotel - in the heart of central Amsterdam so perfect to explore the area easily. Hotel is very secure - room was safe and clean and staff friendly and welcoming

10-15 walk from Amsterdam Centraal. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was a full length mirror in the bedroom

The only thing I didn't like was that noise travelled and I could hear some guests in the corridor and opening and closing their doors

To note, there is an elevator but it's very tiny and there are stairs to go down as soon as you enter

Stayed 2 nights and both nights I slept like a baby. Peaceful and clean and close to everything.

We loved it! We had the quad room and it was very spacious!! The hotel is located across from the Artis Zoo and the 14 Tram. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We will stay here again!!!

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful part of the city. Staff are always super helpful and warm and friendly. The number 14 tram stop is right outside. Tram ride from Centraal Station takes about 15 minutes

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Although it is not in a very central area, there is a tram stop in front of the entrance and, a few steps away, there are pubs and cafes where you can have breakfast or a drink

area was good 15 min walk to central area the hotel itself is like a maze so i wouldnt want to go in there drunk lol but the stay was pleasant

Cute little place in the middle of everything. Nice staff, tidy property with free coffee in the reception area, what else could you ask for when exploring the city. Definitely considering when back in Amsterdam.

Not a bad hotel to stay in the city center for a couple of days. But never repeat our booking of a suite! These rooms are on the 6th floor up a terrible staircase. We did not get help with our suitcases

The hotel was in a amazing location, the room was clean daily and the staff was very friendly. It doesn’t have an elevator, so if you end up staying in the forth floor it might be a bit tiring

Also be careful with the weather. We got very hot weather and the room only had a weak fan

Since there was no elevator, the receptionist helped carry my oversized luggage to my room.

Also a heads up if you have large luggage or have any injuries or disabilities this hotel doesn't have an elevator so you'd have to walk potentially 4 levels up the stairs while carrying your stuff

The overall hospitality is really good. Very kind and thoughtful owners. Location is great easy access to center and closer to theaters. Lots of restaurants 5 mins walk. Hotel serves breakfast which is very popular

The only issue is the tram they takes you to the hotel from central has been diverted due to road works they has been going on for 2 years so be prepared to walk at least 30 mins to central or any of the tourist sights!

Can’t ask for any better for the price! Staff were great, beds are comfortable, tram right outside or a nice 20 minute stroll into the city! Jacuzzi in the room was absolutely unreal too! I will definitely be back

Rooms are tiny but so functional and the bathroom is exceptional! I’d definitely recommend getting the balcony room as it’s nice to open the door at least for fresh air and in summer i imagine it would be a bonus

We got lots of info and even offered a beer. Stairs are very steep but reception carried our luggage up and if you tell them when you book you prefer a lower floor they are happy to accommodate if they can

A lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location. The airport bus station of Elandsgracht is only a 6-minute walk away, and with two tram stops right outside, getting anywhere in Amsterdam is effortless

Onur & Tahir at the reception were very helpful and attentive :) The rooms are small (a standard in Amsterdam) but were clean, comfy and well maintained. The balcony is a very nice plus!

This hotel is a bit dated, but the location and view are great. There's a Line 4 tram stop right downstairs, and I could enjoy the canal view from my room

The location is great, around 20 mins walk from the most active parts of the canal. I spent 4 nights here in the basement room. Biggest problem was the very steeeeep staircase as there's no elevator

After enduring a long holiday journey that resulted in leg injuries for both of us, your thoughtful gesture of upgrading us to a room with lift access truly made a significant difference to our comfort and well-being

Otherwise, the room was spacious enough and cleaned every day

The hotel was super central, close to everything, the staff was super friendly, they let us leave our suitcases in the morning before check-in and after check-out. I would return without a doubt.

Everything was great, but they really need to fix the shower screen. Water leaks out everywhere when you shower, and the water pressure is really low.

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel. The staff were amazing! Lovely courtyard at the hotel to sit and relax. Very close to tram, museums. We stayed in Room 4 which got a bit hot during the day. Overall a lovely stay.

The outdoor patio was nice even though it was a bit cool and rainy during our stay so we couldn't enjoy. Nonetheless, I would consider going back and staying again, even if for a couple more days

Well located, free wife, free coffee tea but you have to pay for the breakfast. Beds were comfy enough and bed linen was clean. I even checked the pillows inside they were clean

For the price wise regarding where the hotel located is great. We paid 665euros for family of 4 for 2 nights. Other hotels in the same area they were asking over 1000 euros

It was a little bit of a walk from the station, but there were various souvenir shops nearby and it was in an easy to find location

Clean and decent storage space for a one night stay. Despite the many reviews warning about the staircase, and despite walking slowly down them, I still slipped and fell down 3-4steps

This caused me to gain 2 big bruises. I felt pain in my arm, leg and foot. Even now 3 days later I still have tenderness in the arm. I was being careful walking slowly but I think the step was quite slippery

The location of the hotel is good, but the room is very small, the suitcase is not big enough to open, and there is free coffee and free cocoa at the front desk

We walked from the airport, which took over 50 minutes, but later found out you can take the NS train for just 5 euros per person. I'd definitely recommend taking the train – it's much faster and more convenient

There is no lift so you'd have to carry your luggage through a very narrow and small staircase, each step is around 9 inches (roughly a woman's size 6 shoe), so going up and down the very long stair case is difficult

The room was clean and small - it worked well enough for a quick one night stay in central Amsterdam near the shopping areas. The area is lovely - lots of canals and places within walking distance to shop and eat

My room was a single bed on the fourth floor - it's fine if you are able-bodied, but there were lots of steep stairs so please be aware that none of the rooms are wheelchair accessible (no lift)

Booked the triple room with balcony so had to climb 3 floors each with very narrow and steep stairs to get to the top! Good size room. Vending machine drinks the coins so just stay dry

On our first night, there was a bed bug (or some kind of bug) crawling on the wall so we had to sleep on our towels on top of the blanket

This room was good for a one night stay - for a longer stay I probably would have chosen a hotel with a larger room

Only problem we had is thin walls, because our room was neighboring room with group of people that partied late, when people scream it sounds like right in from of your door, but we asked them to be quiet after certain time and problem was solved

Right in the heart near all the action, 5 minute walk to the train station. But mostly the staff are incredible. Very friendly and accommodating. All the front Desk staff were great. All went above to make are stay great

And people complain about absence of elevator?! This is historical building, noone will die from climbing some stairs like people have been doing for not one millenia. Staff is nice and welcoming, haven't seen rude one

Honestly, this was a great place! Low rating reviews are from people who expect to get a luxury for cheap. Yes, stair are narrow and steep, so if you have health complications ask for lower floor before booking

It really is a travel hotel, where you come to sleep and explore a city not to live in room, for about 100$ a night right in the center of Amsterdam, it was a great choice to stay there

Wonderful place! Cool and friendly staff, perfect location. It was first time on a boat like this and we loved it! Excellent breakfast. The rooms are tiny but it is a boat! Shower and toilet in each cabin

It’s a boat! The rooms have good mattresses and their own bathrooms and showers, there’s breakfast and the staff will figure things out if you (like us) go through train trouble and arrive way too late

Everything else, such as shampoo and shower gel you need to take with you. The only negative thing is that there is no hot water in the morning before breakfast. Especially the dog! I have never seen such a huge dog
