The overall cleanliness and environment were excellent. It's very close to the city center, with a great location; Chinatown and Chinese restaurants are just a 5-minute walk away. The service was also very good, and clean water was provided in the rooms.

The hotel isn't in the city center, but getting around by metro is super convenient, and Amsterdam isn't a huge city anyway. We loved this hotel. All staff including cleaners are so polite and welcoming. Location is amazing anything you could want or need is within walking distance. Near to museum area which is just within 10mins walking distance . We get to checked in earlier around 1pm with no charges which is very nice to us , as long as the room is available. Tram stations just opposite the road very convenient.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Well located, quiet rooms. Our room was not ready on time and the manager was very accommodating and did her best to make us comfortable including giving colouring and small teddies for the kids. Really loved our stay here. Probably a little more expensive than most but the quality is up there. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel from the moment you walk in the doors rooms are well presented clean and a good size for Amsterdam, my only issue was the mattress toppers were beyond worn and all bubbley which made it feel like the bed was full of crumbs which made for a sleepless night, other then that the the staff were as friendly and warm as could be which just added to the hotels overall charm.

We are family of four with tw kids ages between 7 to 10 years old, our over all experience with the hotel is goo, except the room cleaning, the room cleaning either remove our hotel card by accident, or didnt replace the tissue when it empty for 2 days, didnt remove all the dirty towels… the only word I would say is the cleaning person didnt care, we didn’t make any complaint but we are not satisfied...

The Sofitel Legend Hotel, while the building itself is old and of okay quality, suffers from subpar room decor and maintenance, making it unworthy of the price. Just for your reference!

I can’t speak highly enough about this place. If there wasn’t places to see in Amsterdam you could easily have a holiday just chilling and getting immersed in the dreamy groovy atmosphere of the hotel lobby.
