Al Husn Hotel Muscat in Muscat

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at The Al Husn in Muscat. The Al Husn will join the elite ranks The Waldorf Astoria brand of hotels in the Middle East. That is a high bar to achieve. In our opinion the Al Husr not only meets that bar but exceeds it. It is a truly wonderful and unique hotel. Its stunning location is unparalleled with the background of the Hujar mountains and the beautiful Gulf of Oman The hotel has everything, beautiful accommodation and facilities, but, like all great hotels the staff are the centrepiece of its excellence. Our interaction with every member was heartwarming. We would particularly but not exclusively, like to thank Eugene the General Manager and his front office colleagues Mustafa and Ria for their courtesy and professionalism. A big thank you as well to Tulsi, Anish and Ahmad who were so caring at breakfast. There were many others too at the Sultanah restaurant who went out of their way to make our stay special. a word of gratitude to Asela and Abhishek who kept our room spotless. As long term lifetime Diamond members we highly recommend the Al Husr and we will be back in the spring to see the turtles

I had a wonderful experience at Hilton Al Husn. The location is simply beautiful, and I felt great the moment I arrived. The reception area is cute, and the seating veranda is stunning. The swimming pool is amazing, but what really made the stay special were the people. A huge shout-out to men on the beach, especially Said. He is an awesome man who works so hard in the heat and truly deserves a bonus! His warm reception and hospitality were unmatched. He kindly showed me turtles and we had a lovely chat. Rare person, I wish him all the best. I also want to thank the waiter at the bar near the pool. While the restaurant itself could use some fresh air or cold springs (like Al Bandar has), the waiter made my stay lovely. He chose a good table for me with a bit of wind, which was much appreciated. Food was delicious. Thank you! Finally, the art goats are so interesting! I love art objects, so finding these was a super cool touch for me. Highly recommended!

The best beach in Muscat, the best staff, the best service and really comfortable room. We've been to three different hotels and this one is the best for us quite easily.

This is our second visit to this delightful hotel. Great amenities / pool and beach with a selection of restaurants. we particularly loved the seafood restaurant. Our room was comfortable and well maintained and as ever all the staff we came across provided excellent service and made our stay relaxing and enjoyable

The place is just peaceful. It has positive vibes that I never felt anywhere else. If you are looking for peace and positivity then it's the place to clear your mind.

We recently spent a truly peaceful and wonderful week at Al Husn. The view from our room was spectacular and the amenities fantastic. The hotel was positively magical at night. We can't speak highly enough of the care and attention we received from all the staff during what was becoming a very difficult time with the political situation and uncertainty for travellers but the staff never missed a beat. Nothing was too much trouble and their advice invaluble. It was a holiday we will never forget and we hope to return next year. You are all in our thoughts given the threat to your beautiful, fascinating and peaceful country, we hope it ends soon. In particular, we'd like to mention Jehan and Chitakchui who greeted us daily at breakfast and dinner with abolute courtesy and friendship and the housekeeping team who made us a fantastic array of animals from towels. As this hotel transitions to a Waldforf Astoria we truly hope none of what makes Al Husn so special gets lost

They didn’t just do their jobs — they made me feel valued and cared for throughout my stay. The front desk team especially stood out with their kindness, patience, and positive energy. No request felt too small, and every interaction was handled with a smile. It honestly made such a difference and added so much comfort to my overall experience. I loved every single moment I spent at the hotel. The atmosphere, the service, and the attention to detail made it more than just a stay — it felt special.
