Great hotel, heated jacuzzi was a relief from the chilly wind, great location, quiet area and close to main attractions

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful palace. The service was excellent: the staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. However, some improvements are needed in the rooms. For example, the beds feel outdated, and there is virtually no digitalisation, which is essential nowadays. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, but a renovation would be necessary to bring this magnificent palace up to modern standards.

Our stay at Grand Hyatt Muscat was a wonderful and memorable experience. While the breakfast variety was limited and not very child-friendly, our 4-year-old son had an unforgettable time. He was overjoyed to find a separate bed prepared for him, spent hours dancing on the balcony during a wedding, and enjoyed the children’s play area and pool, even though the water was colder than other pools. The staff were warm and welcoming, and receiving our room earlier than the official check-in made us feel cared for. Despite minor inconveniences like construction noise and limited snacks, we focused on creating happy memories for our son, and he left the hotel full of joy and wonder. We sincerely hope to return to this beautiful and calm hotel to make more cherished memories and keep the light of happiness and hope alive in his heart.

The room number turned out to be the last four digits of my Chinese mobile phone number! The Grand Hyatt exceeded my expectations by a lot; it was absolutely gorgeous at night. The suite wasn't as old as I imagined, and Parth, the guy in the lounge, was incredibly nice; my wine glass was never empty. Highly recommended!!

Mr. Abdullah served us in the breakfast area, and his service was excellent. He always had a warm smile on his face and spoke very politely, which made the morning even more pleasant. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. Thank you, Mr. Abdullah, for your great hospitality!

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Muscat during our road trip from Riyadh through Dubai and finally into Muscat, and it turned out to be the perfect stop to unwind and explore the city.

The hotel has a charming 90s vibe—classic, warm, and nostalgic in the best way. Despite its vintage character, everything is impressively clean and well maintained. The location is another big plus: right near the beach, making it easy to enjoy a morning walk or a relaxing sunset.

The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. After long hours on the road, that level of hospitality really stands out.

Overall, a comfortable and memorable stay, and a great base for touring around Muscat.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the grand Hyatt and the staff was exceptional! Everything from the rooms being extremely clean down to how comfy the bed is! Definitely would recommend if you have extended stay; however, I do wish the rooms had better lighting!
