I had a horrible experience at Al Falaj Hotel in Muscat. The room service was extremely rude, and to make things worse, housekeeping came knocking on our door and ringing the bell at 8:30 in the morning to clean the room, waking us up unnecessarily. Later that same day, the power went off around 11 a.m., and after waiting over an hour in a boiling hot room, nobody from the hotel staff offered an explanation, an apology, or even basic assistance. We were forced to check out and move to another hotel, and they refused to refund the remaining days of our booking. The lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic hospitality was shocking. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed in this hotel for four nights and were very satisfied. The service, hygiene and environment were all very good, and the transportation was also very convenient.

The facilities are great, it's good value for money, it's quiet, and the best thing is that there's a Japanese restaurant in the hotel!

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The reception staff were not customer-oriented at all. I had made an advance booking, but when I arrived, they first claimed there were no rooms available and refused to cancel my reservation. After I complained, they offered me a much smaller room, even though I had booked a king-size room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was unfortunate we couldn’t get to check in earlier because we arrived earlier so we stayed at the lobby for 9-10 hours despite many emails sent to give them a heads up. Overall our stay was decent. Breakfast was good and service was good too.

if you think you have eaten Chinese food, think again. This place has an awesome diversity and range of what they offer. Great ambiance and decor. the food is so perfect, they have been in Muscat for nearly 4 decades through all the ups and downs. Its something one needs to go to when you are visiting Muscat and if you live in Muscat, well, lucky you! Great food, great memories. Good family establishment.

Lovely fresh food, attentive wait staff. The schezwan prawns were really good. Toffee apples stole the show though. Would definitely be a regular here.
