Really lovely hotel in a great location. The rooms were spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Lovely modern bathroom and the shower had excellent pressure. Breakfast is vast with a huge array of food. A great find and Kazimierz is a wonderful district to stay in with loads of lovely bars and restaurants while still only being 10 mins from the main old town square

The most perfect stay at Golden Tulip. Staff were so friendly and welcoming, the hotel was immaculate and in the best location. Kettle, tea, coffee in the room as well as a safe room keep passports secure. Breakfast was incredible, such a good selection of food - all presented beautifully. Couldn’t fault this hotel at all and will definitely be recommending it to friends and family.

We thought this was a perfect hotel for us. It was a pleasant walk into the old town, with many shops and restaurants/cafés on the way. The hotel staff were all very welcoming and extremely helpful. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and a variety of hot and cold food. We asked for an early breakfast one day as we had a very early tour pickup and we were given a large bag each with enough food to last all morning! We will definitely stay again next time we visit Kraków.

Nice hotel in a good location. Main square being only a couple of kilometres away and there are great transport links. Hotel was clean, breakfast was superb with a nice selection, rooms a good size and clean, staff overall helpful but there was one lady at breakfast that appeared quite grumpy and blunt on all 3 mornings I saw her so not just a one off, I wouldn’t go as far as saying she was rude but a friendly smile and hello would go a long way. Basic tea/coffee making facilities in room and there was a fridge and safe which is good to see. Bed was firm but comfortable. TV channels limited but not too fussed by this as didn’t spend much time in the room. All in all I’d recommend this hotel to travellers looking for somewhere nice to stay at a reasonable cost and located near good transport links and sites of interest, also a nice number of restaurants nearby. Hope my review and opinion helps others.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is convenient with easy access to the tram and local amenities including bakeries and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel is good value and higher quality than neighbouring ones.

The room itself is ordinary. The beds are fine. I didn't hear much noise and the view was pleasant. The heater didn't work and the lighting was confusing. During my stay the pollution level in Krakow was quite high and I preferred to stay indoors in the hotel.

Was alright for the price. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would stay here again. Only drawback was the beds are super low down for some reason, but still sleep-able. Having more pillows would be great too as they only give you one square one each

Probably will return for the location. The hotel straddles Krakowska (trams and shops) and Bożego Ciała, where Corpus Christi Basilica stands. Beyond the trams and low-rise building (residential?) is St. Stanislaus Church, which is 5 minutes on foot. It's convenient with shops, restaurants (such as Tbilisuri & Broo) and the Jewish quarter Kazimierz. This is a decent 3.5/5 hotel (worn-out headboard) on the edge of the Old Town - 20 minutes walk to the Main Market Square or Rynek Główny. The tour manager said they used to stay in a hotel on Rynek Główny, but it had no air conditioning, which is a must for Americans. Interestingly, the tour company has this description on the a/c at this hotel: “Air Conditioning may be operated on a seasonal basis, and with limited hours in season.” At street level, they have a reception desk, a Polish restaurant Estragon, a bar, the Gold Cocktail Bar, and an outdoor sitting area. Our room is clean and functional. It might be my fault, but when I used the Uber to call a car to the airport krk, the pickup spot is NOT at the hotel but at a place that is an 8-minutes walk away. Fortunately, we have time and are able to walk easily - traveling light has its advantages.
