This place is in a great location. The room was comfortable despite not having AC. With global warming upon us, we need AC.

There was a fan (with no front grill) and as It was 20c at night we were able to sleep.

Bathroom not so acceptable. Smelled like mildew really badly, also not en suite. Walk down the hall descend into a damp cave. Needs an exhaust fan.

Breakfast was totally lovely. Staff very nice.

This is ok as a highly discounted option but be prepared for some discomforts.

3 night stay middle aged couple

Room was ok but a little damp. No aircon just a fan. Very basic pop up clothes organiser. Bed comfortable. No other facilities really. We were expecting an ensuite (room 5) but this was described as a private bathroom where we had to walk down a communal corridor past the breakfast room, Far from ideal. Description should have been much better. Bathroom stuffy and damp but good water pressure.
Breakfast was basic but ok. Eggs made to order. Coffee ok. Overall location good but note 25+ steps up to building from road. Plenty of food options within 5-10 mins walk.

Enough
Come prepared with cash; there's no card payment. The staff is staffed by World Packers. Danielle from Belgium is pleasant and attentive, while Joana isn't very available and lacks a good solution. The breakfast is average. It has more of a hostel feel. Self-check-in, our room was very comfortable and quiet despite having a balcony overlooking the street. It's 15 minutes from the shopping plaza. Overall, I recommend it. Good price.

The place is NOT ACCESSIBLE TO THOSE WITH WALKING PROBLEMS. There are many external stairs and just as many stairs inside the entrance and even on the toilet! There is a wall full of humidity and mold in the room set up for breakfast. You can constantly smell the smell of mold. The squeaky bed has not been replaced as it did not have any others, forced to sleep on the floor! Only in the bathroom is a smelly soap in the shower. Some rooms DO NOT HAVE A BATHROOM IN THE ROOM. Very old and poor furniture probably taken from the junk dealer. The only good thing is the location!

This is a great location in historic part of town with walkable stores and shops close by, Kudos to staff, special mention to Luana who makes fresh squeezed orange juice and sets up nice breakfast every morning. Pls ask for Tiago to give you rides from and to the Airport and for personal touring, he is fun and professional. Overall I’d come back here and also recommend to friends

Lovely location, super friendly and informative host. Instructions on entry/check in were very clear (we had a late flight arrival). Listed as with parking but unfortunately we had to park locally, nothing reserved. No AC in the room which was a bit of an issue given that keeping the windows open for fresh air let the noise of the street in, but the ease of the location was a highlight for our needs, walking distance to bairro alto and plenty of restaurants/bars on the riverfront.

Booked this place as wanted somewhere central and with parking. The place advertised parking however when i asked about it they said its only street parking. The lady caterina gave me information om where to park which was helpful however still had to go around with the car at 11pm at night trying to find a place. The room was very clean however unfortunately it was very noisy as just on a busy road. There was also no AC in the room so it became very hot. The mattress was very old and could feel the springs in my back which made an uncomfortable nights sleep. The curtains also did not cover the entire window letting light in very early. Breakfast was nice and included fresh juice and very fresh bread

Had dinner here with my wife and 5-month old baby 6 days ago. Barbara was amazing and made us feel comfortable as she explained the wine and pasta selections. The owner also made us feel at home. Highly recommend it for both the food and ambiance!

Impressive quality of service! The first ever restaurant I have come across that recommends a stepwise tasting of food and accompanying wine.

Our order was incorrectly taken but the establishment very graciously offered us the right dish free of charge. We simply accepted the dish they served for fear of being too stuffed to head home after.

The octopus cataplan was one of a kind. It would simply delight all who love soup and the eight-legged critter. Porc Jarrett was equally impressive! Crispy thin skin with an exquisitely soft interior that simply melts in the mouth, along with lightly salted yellow fries. Definitely 2 must-tries!

The desserts were a pity. We ordered the small selection but it came with too many a cream products. The mousse and various sweet tidbits were too jarring for the palate. Appreciated the custard tarts and nut embedded chocolate cake but would have like a mix of savoury in there as well.

Definitely a place not to be missed in Lisbon! A cozy warm environment, great service and excellent food ?

Intimate dining - about ten tables. Excellent food and equally excellent service. Nicely priced wine list of Portuguese wines. Don't miss the Octopus Laguiera. Octopus salad was also excellent.
