I have stayed in dozens of hostels worldwide in the last 6 years, and the Porto Wine Hostel is top 3 for me!! The place was clean, in a good location, and the staff is AMAZING. They are so nice, and they remembered my name, and made me feel welcomed. I really enjoyed my time in Porto, and excited to come back and stay here again!

A wonderful place to stay in Porto to begin or end your Camino walk. Easy to find, walkable distance to the older part of the city, close to many cafés and shopping. Avoid bringing a heavy bag as you will have to bring it up to the 3rd & 4th floor! Very helpful & accommodating hosts.

Honestly, Wine Hostel in Porto was awesome. As soon as I walked in, the staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home. The whole place has this chill vibe, and the wine-themed decor is just fun. The people working there are great—always up for a chat or ready with tips about what to do around town. Breakfast was a highlight for me: fresh fruit, good coffee, and a cozy spot to start the day. The location couldn’t be better for exploring Porto, and the hostel itself is clean, comfy, and has loads of character. Whether you’re on your own or with friends, it’s the kind of place you’ll remember. I’ll definitely be coming back—and raising a glass to Wine Hostel!

The welcome and location are good. However their website says it is a 5 minutes walk from Sao Bento Station when, in fact, it is 15 minutes uphill walk. We had a private room which would benefit from some updating for the cost that is charged.

it is a wonderful place to be. Great position, perfectly clean, very nice hosts. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to use.

Great, clean, and well located hostel. Staff was consistently excellent as well. I will stay here again next time I’m in Porto. Worth noting there’s no elevator if you have accessibility issues. They also don’t provide a lock or towel which was fine with me. They had a lot of wine available for cheap and had a common area that was well used (good socializing) and a large kitchen area

It was an ok hostel. It was clean. I was in the room with 5 young guys that were in Porto to party, so not great for me just coming off the Camino. They do serve good wine and port though, so after a day off sightseeing it was nice to come back and read while enjoying a nice red.

Great hostel, good value for money. Location is absolutely the best! Rooms and other facilities are clean and modern. Employees are polite and helpful. Especially Jane, you are the best! Muito obrigado! Definitely recommend this place to solo travelers!

Hello! Just today,I visited this restaurant for the first time, traveling from Japan by myself, late summer vacation. 3 days in lisbon, Today, I arrived in Porto. I found this restaurant near my apartment for staying 3 days here. At just 7:00 pm, I was first person.
Dishes, service, olive, olive oil and bread were so perfect! Amazingly tasty!
