The room is reasonably big. Hotel is 15-mins drive away from Porto old town area where you can find most of the tourist spots. No daily bottle water refills though.

Can’t ask for a better located hotel. With a metro station at your door and the stunning Ribeira, 15 minutes away on foot. The staff was very friendly, the room was tasteful and of a good size for 1-2 travellers. I felt I was at home.

This hotel is located right in front of a main city square which is very convenient to walk around the city. The room is beautifully decorated with new fixtures. We had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

From the moment we arrived the front desk staff were so attentive. They gave us a up grade room on the 7th floor that was just amazing this hotel is so relaxing and everything you need is in the room one of the best city hotels we have stayed in. Overall we have a satisfactory stay, love the water pressure is good, hot water is nice, toilet comes with bidet. But the hotel only provide 1 water where we two person staying in and when next day room cleaning also did not refill another water. The amenities are minimal.

The location is very convenient, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The hotel is very clean and new, exceeding my expectations, and it even has a balcony, so I don't need to go downstairs to smoke.

This hotel is new. Big comfortable bed, big shower and bathroom. The room has a bit of a smell of humidity or something, but was a comfortable and nice stay. We also got an upgrade which was great. They offer Nespresso coffee in the room and a bottle of water.

Very nice room in a modern style. Location is adequate with the metro station at 5-8 minutes walk. Nice facilities and very professional staff. Definitively a good choice when I return to Porto.

Generally, it is a good hotel for living but you may need to climb a little bit to get to there from the metro station. Anyway, it is close to the city centre with a fair price. Besides, we have faced the issue with our room card for several times, but the good thing is the staff is friendly and helped us for fixing the problem.

What a lovely hotel. Firstly we were given a free upgrade to a beautiful suite over looking the river with everything we could need. We wish we were staying for longer than one night! The breakfast was so good, fantastic choices and good quality. Location was good too, slightly away from the centre but a lovely walk along the Douro river.

The Hotel is in a very quiet riverside road, close to the last bridge of Port Duoro River. The heart of the Port can be reached by walking 1,5km, or take bus/tram. Very fine designed style, from past Fish Market Structure. The people are very nice and kind.

The bathroom came provided with shower caps and soaps and a hairdryer, if you need any extras you can request them, shower pressure was great too! Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Cristal. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay with a 2 year old was perfect and they were so friendly with him, Angela especially. Breakfast and food was tasty and the room was modern and spacious. Little further away from the hustle of Porto than we thought but so easy to get about in an Uber which are very reasonably priced. Rooms on the road side were noisy. Bed comfortable. Bathroom lacked hooks to put towels or clothes! Room 105 Lounge area had a carpet with a tiled walkway behind on a different level!!! I didn’t see the drop and fell off it. I was very shaken and hurt in too many places. I was given ice in a napkin but nothing was recorded! See photos attached. Attentive staff, comfortable room, delicious and varied breakfast😌 I was impressed by the mineral water in the room as a compliment - the first time I see such a package. The location is very centralised, making it extremely convenient to walk to the nearby attractions. We got upgraded to a room with a balcony which was lovely, and everything else about the room was just about perfect too. Super well upkept, maybe cos it’s relatively new too but the bathroom was very clean with zero mold spots. Water pressure was strong while the wifi and aircon / heater worked well...

A little out of the centre but clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed a night before we were booked in for the first night of an organised cycling trip . Staff had moved our bags to the new room while we were out sightseeing. Fantastic food hall just through a door from the hotel with huge choice of food and beer!

The location was convenient and the room was clean. However, they assigned me a room with facilities for disabled people (probably because I requested to be close to the elevator), so the water tended to overflow when showering. Everything else was fine.

This hotel was a total winner. The staff were wonderful; the rooms were spacious, bright, and clean; and the location was perfect. I would highly recommend. Been 3 times for work and each time was amazing. The staff are amazing. I had a slight issue that needed maintenance assistance, and not even 5mins passed he was there to assist. Rooms always clean, and very spacious.

Jose was kind enough to get 1 of our rooms ready within an hour so we could at least wash up, rest for a bit, and refresh before going out for the day. Location is good as it is 15 minutes walk to almost all the key attractions.  Bed and amenities are good.  Cleaning of the floor and carpets need improvement.  My wet socks turned black when I stepped on the floor and carpet.  Food at restaurant is also good.  However, service was a bit slow.

The location was great. It's easy to come back to after a day of sightseeing, and the main tourist attractions are within walking distance.
